The Inbal is located in a great location, in a safe area, walkable to the old city, the “new” areas (Ben Yehuda /King George St.) and great parks. The hotel is very nice with great facilities for fitness, swimming and ease of parking. Breakfast is excellent with endless choices of quality middle eastern and American food. The only constructive criticism I have for the hotel is some of the staff is not very friendly and welcoming like you would find in a similar quality hotel in Tel Aviv. This is our third visit to the Inbal over the years… we would return again just with lower expectations.

The Inbal is a fabulous, luxurious hotel. Everything was first class: accommodations, food, service and ambiance. Special shout out to Mishleem at the front desk who went out of her way to get us our room earlier than we expected. The soup festival is a fantastic idea and absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by how great the food in the dairy restaurant in the lounge was. My grandchildren loved the French fries and vanilla milkshakes. Their pizza was the best I ate in Jerusalem. They also have a great indoor pool and gym. All in all, a wonderful experience!

This was our second stay at the Inbal Jerusalem. The hotel is clean, updated, well located, with parking included and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. Good gym and excellent pool as well. In addition, the breakfast buffet is amazing every day.

The Inbal is very well located. It is walkable to the old city, Mamilla, First Station and many parks. The staff is helpful and generally friendly. Breakfasts are the wonderful Israeli-style that sets you up for the day. Biggest gripe is things could be cleaner and fresher in the public areas - seat covers definitely need an upgrade. And cleaning in the rooms could stand a bit of an upgrade. Vacuuming! Criticisms aside, I would stay here again.

We stay at the Inbal every year. Wonderful accommodations, fabulous breakfast buffet, excellent staff and great location. Looking forward to our next stay at the Inbal. The updated rooms are bright, clean and well appointed. Bedding is extremely comfortable as well.

The hotel is a lovely looking hotel & space but believe me for a 5 star hotel the service & communal area were overwhelming with rudeness, abrupt or clueless staff, mess all around n the floors in the Lounge & at breakfast. Guest were super gluttonous & left so much food is was very upsetting. Starving people in the world & no one seemed to care.

Probably the best value for your dollar among the high-end Jerusalem hotels. My only suggestion is that the hotel should do a little better job of maintaining the rooms in the cleanest and most pristine state.

This is not a luxury property in my opinion, although they certainly were charging luxury hotel prices during my stay. While the room and bathroom were spacious, the furnishing were worn down and the electrical wiring in the room seemed faulty (lights not turning on properly, strange sizzling sound coming from the switches). The room itself was covered in thick dust and had clearly not been vacuumed in quite a while. It's telling that you'll see the vacuum cleaners left in the hallways while the housekeeping staff are cleaning the rooms. I never did hear one running during my stay. Most of the staff that I encountered were either curt or outright unfriendly. It may be a cultural thing, but I've staying in other hotels in Israel and had much better service. This ranged from the front desk staff to the parking garage attendant. One exception was the wait staff in the hotel's dairy restaurant who provided excellent service. Lastly, the location is not particularly great unless your okay with relying on taxi/share ride services or walking the 30 minutes to get to some of the more touristy spots or public transportation. Or if you're a brave soul willing to face down Jerusalem traffic and drive yourself. By why bother when there are plenty of better hotels closer to the old city and other tourist spots?

I enjoyed my stay at the Inbal. It was a great location, quiet room, good size, and an amazing breakfast that kept me filled for hours. I was there with my future daughter in law and we shared a room! the room was big enough and well designed enough for us to be comfortable for 4 nights!

I have stayed at the Inbal before and it is always a pleasure. The rooms are lovely and well-supplied (even has a bathroom scale which can be good or bad). We had a family room this time and was pleased to have two bathrooms for the 3 of us. The only problem was that we had to change rooms and in the 2nd room there was only a toilet in the front bathroom -- not tub or shower.

Don’t waste time and money on this below par hotel. It is not worth half its stars, specially as it fails every aspect of customer service. Even when they agree that the service experience was poor, their only response is to “ask for names” and not correct the problem! “Who said it? Who did what?” But never “let me take care of it.” It fails every level of basic customer service. Pass this hotel, there are many options in Jerusalem. We will not go back, that’s for sure.

High end hotel with quality staff. A great location for walking to the German colony, downtown Jerusalem and about 25 minutss to the Jaffa Gate. Especially good location if you want to avoid the intensity of the Jerusalem commercial center but still be able to walk to it.

Amazing stay for weekend. Staff was very professional and attentive. Comfortable family connecting rooms. Location is perfect near mall, western wall, and restaurants. Breakfast and sabbath meals were gourmet and all you can eat. Can’t wait to come back.

Terrible food (full board Fri-Sat). My public high-school cafeteria was tastier by far. In many ways the Inbal is like a 2-star operation taking over a 5-star establishment. If you stay here, eat elsewhere (and bring your own reading light for the room).

No complaints about staff, however I’ve been coming to this hotel since 1984. I feel like your construction has only made the hotel feel more crowded. You may have created more space for hotel guests, but much too crowded at meals… particularly buffets.
