Wonderful breakfasts in lovely dining area. Very comfortable, and staff helpful. Need to walk to old city, but it's along the river Mosel so very interesting.

The hotel/ restaurant had a wedding and understandably that was their priority. However, the receptionist was so extremely rude it was disappointing. We had 2 rooms and I called when we made the reservation to tell them my husband was handicapped and my brother in-law is 6’3. We were put on the 5th floor (only stairs) and my sister was in the attic with low slopping ceilings. We asked to change rooms and I was shamed by the same receptionist that I should have called again to tell them we our needs. We were moved to the 4th floor and my sister, even after offering to pay more, was told that was the only room because the wedding was their priority. Then we asked where the tea and coffee were because the site says available in the common area. We were told that if you pay for breakfast, you’ll get it in the morning for breakfast. Oh, what a mess it was. We came back after dinner, because the restaurant was closed because they had a wedding and there was no parking. The owner was VERY accommodating and moved the bikes so we could park out front. We went for a walk later to find out that the hotel is “NOT” on or near the river. We had to check out early the next morning and the receptionist shamed us for checking out @ 7:15. She said we were too early. HELLOO! The website said 6am. I could go on but the owner and late evening receptionist (male) was very nice. That was about it
