This is my second time visiting The Palace hotel. The staff is hugely attentive from the moment you get in. The rooms are spacious, well kept and for my purposes, an excellent set up for working with a very comfortable desk. The gym was surprisingly spacious and well stocked with free and cardio equipment. Breakfast was excellent but a bit pricey at 45 Francs! Had I been with my family that would’ve been 200 Francs for breakfast!? Stay in and have dinner at the hotel restaurant, Grande Chene. All kinds of seafood, but I had the steak tartar as well. All in all, a lovely property. Try to get a room looking towards the water or don’t spend the extra cash and just get a room in the high floors facing the Cathedral. Beautiful!

A beautiful grand dame of a hotel. It could benefit from an upgrade in the lobby and hallways. We had a junior suite facing the city. Noise from the street and nearby party was quite annoying, so chose a lake view room. The pool and spa were lovely, the kids had a great time! Very friendly staff, and situated in a great location to explore the old town.

The hotel had a perfect location to hop on the Metro and to take the train as well as convenience to restaurants, shops and the Saturday market. The public rooms and sleeping rooms were gorgeous and clean, and the hotel staff was helpful and knowledgeable We enjoyed cocktails in Le Bar and dinner in The Brasserie restaurant, both in the hotel. Highly recommended.

Absolutely a beautiful hotel with great service. We enjoyed our balcony facing Lake Geneva and would eat breakfast and relax on it. It’s located in a great area with many wonderful restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and we really liked the air conditioning as other hotels we’ve stayed in Switzerland did not. Overall a A + experience and we’ll be back.

A beautiful hotel, that's in need of rediscovering itself. Aspects of excellent, occasionally let down by old decor in rooms, a bad redesigned lobby with little charm and staff that while excellent appear too busy. Having stayed at the palace for many years, it deserves some much needed attention.

Palace vraiment bien situé Nous avons été pris en charge par une personne de l’accueil qui nous a vraiment été fort sympathique. La chambre est bien mais pas extraordinaire, tout petit balcon pour admirer le lac. Spa assez cool Nous avons testé la brasserie ( plutôt chère pour ce que sais) Pour le tout je mettrai un 8,5/10 Ma copine et moi avons passé un joli week end dans ce palace

We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every second we spent in the hotel (and used most of the facilities… the very big gym, spa etc) Every interaction with the staff was perfect, so friendly and professional. Great location in the heart of Lausanne. Highly recommend

The concierge Cindy went out of her way to help me easily navigate the city including recommending the best chocolate shops. The hotel lobby bar was a great morning spot for tea and a croissant. The hotel even had a cigar bar. Highly recommend.

3泊した。受付の人や掃除の方たちはとても良かった。名前まで覚えてくれて人もいた。残念な点が数点あり、まずタオルウォーマーが2つとも壊れていて、2日目には直すと言っていたが、結局何もしてくれなかったこと。コーヒーを部屋で飲むと次の日は補充してくれるのかと思っていたが、補充等はなかったこと。またグラスも昨日使ったものをそのまま置いていて、新しいグラスに変えてくれていなかったこと。他は良かった。

The room is so old that you feel as if you were in 60s movie. The bathroom doesn’t have a rainshower and Is really cold and uncomfortable. It doesn’t worth the price! No way! The hallway leading to the rooms smells like curry.

Lausanne Palace is ideally located near the main shopping and dinning area. My only slight complaint is the inconsistency of the housekeeping. We stayed for 6 days. Some days they were great, but a few times they forgot to replenish the necessities like the body wash.

The hotel is in central location. Very clean and spacious rooms. Pets allowed and nice welcome treatment is included. Spa is rather compact but I enjoyed it. After check in we found out that someone has smoked in our room which was unpleasant but the receptionist quickly changed the room and we appreciate his assistance

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the service was impeccable. Out one bedroom suite over looking Lake Geneva was unbelievable. I wish we could stay a couple more days. I would recommend anyone visiting Lausanne stay at the Palace !

I did not find the interior decor nice. The updated room was cold and uninspiring. Breakfast buffet was very nice, but the staff seemed very confused with any of our requests or orders. Not impressed. Beau Rivage is superior!!!

Only a one night stay. Property itself is a classic grand European city centre hotel. Staff excellent in every way - even sorted my squeaky suitcase wheel before I left. Breakfast included and very good. Bed comfortable but pillows not the supportive type I like. Only negative points for me were absence of USB charging points in the room and the fact my first floor room faced the road which was noisy in the morning and woke me up. Choose a lake facing room to avoid this.

Gorgeous Property. Staff in bar restaurant and Matchu Picchu lovely. Staff upon arrival in Taxi wonderful and met us at Taxi. They do an outstanding job. Bedding gorgeous and comfortable.

Un remerciement tout particulier à Stephano Ciacciarelli et à Daniel de la réception pour ce magnifique surclassement en chambre Premium avec une vue à couper le souffle sur le lac Léman, ainsi que pour la délicate attention des macarons et des fruits, et ce petit mot de bienvenue qui m’a beaucoup touché. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés : pour moi, c’est sans conteste le meilleur à Lausanne. Merci encore pour ce séjour mémorable !

Hotel and service was excellent. Stayed for two nights and had a noisy party in the room in the late evening next to us the first night. When we reported the incident to the hotel, they took care of it and was very apologetic and responsive in following up with us.Overall, a very nice stay

I travel very often to Switzerland but had never stayed at the Lausanne Palace. I must say that from now on, this gem of a hotel will be my home-away-from-home. The location, comfort, elegance, service and cleanliness are all without par. I am particularly grateful to Djamila at the front desk who took excellent care of us and all of our needs during the stay.

The service at Lausanne Palace is outstanding. Wilson the concierge helped us plan a day of wine tasting and went above and beyond. The check in team were so friendly and attentive. The rooms are lovely and it’s located up the hill from the train station so it’s super convenient.

The hotel is beautiful and recently renovated. Excellent service and huge rooms. I would advise customers to avoid the hotels restaurant as it is outrageously expensive eith poor quality food. Further, I left my set of ipods at the restaurant/hotel and they never reached out for its return. I would return to the hotel, but never to its restaurant.
