Liverpool Aigburth Hotel By Belvilla

Absolutely awful, curtains hanging off nails, got moved to a deluxe room , which wasn't any better! Someone trying to get in the room through the night, kicking the door! Did not feel safe at all.Never again! A refund wouldn't go amiss.

Parking was good . No hot food , no bar

An unusual hotel with no common parts, key codes to remember and staff notably thin on the ground. Pleasant location and perfectly good, well lit room though. I feel that it could be really nice one day. Lovely location. Annoying door bleeping if one of your neighbours hasn't closed their door at 5 in the morning

There was no water for a few hours when I arrived and then when I woke up and got a shower it was only cold water. The property had a musty smell and other guests were blasting music out until late evening

We used to always stay at this hotel years ago when visiting our daughter in Liverpool University so wanted to revisit. Great location by Sefton Park and Lark lane. Nice and peaceful room but as previous people have mentioned the hotel needs a little tlc and the restaurant and bar were closed although we were really pleased to hear that they will be reopening next week. On the morning when we were leaving lots of gardening and ground maintenance was taking place in readiness for this which was great to see. Really hope that this place becomes a success again as it used to be a lovely hotel and even a wedding venue. The high ceilings and fountain/statues are impressive and really deserves to be reestablished as the great hotel it used to be so I wish the new owners lots of luck. Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaan- an excellent price and would definitely stay again.
