Good location near Atocha but also right next to the major construction project . Check-in tedious in spite of doing it all online beforehand ! Hotel is clean , rooms fine. No bar, no real dining room, just cafeteria with pretty mediocre food ( staff very nice tho!)

Hotel is not really 4 star in my opinion. It has no kettle or tea making equipment, breakfast is poor. No tomatos or cucumbers, no whole eggs, very liquid scrambled eggs, nothing hot for vegeterians, lack of food when it runs out. It has no restuarant but has a small cafeteria which doesnt have much choice. Rooms have a safe but you are not told that you have to pay refundable 15 euro to obtain old fashion key. Not enough staff at reception to service customers hence long wait to checkin and check out. Walls in rooms paper thin hence noise from adjacent rooms and corridor. The only good thing about this hotel is it is close to railway station and retiro park.

The hotel was welcoming and friendly. My room was a comfortable size with a large bathroom. The breakfasts were generous and the food in the bar in the evening was very reasonable in terms of quality and price. Its proximity to the station made it an excellent base for exploring Madrid.

Very clean and comfortable within a short walking distance to the Atoche train/metro station, Retiro Park, Reina Sofia, Prado, and Thyssen museums. The size of the room and bathroom were nice. Checkin was easy and smooth. There is a mini bar with drinks and snacks in the room. Also, there is a restaurant and cafe in the hotel. My only recommendation would be to add a kettle for hot tea in the morning.

I’ve stayed in better 2 star hotels sadly. The check in was acceptable and the lobby was clean. However it was raining on my 2nd day and I asked the reception is they had an umbrella I could use. No. The receptionist said they didn’t have any. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The impression I got from the receptionist was that they never carried any. It probably hadn’t rained in Madrid for a few weeks so no excuse. No coffee machine in the room and don’t expect to get any food from the restaurant before 9,00am on a Saturday!

Great breakfast, would highly recommend for its variety of options. If you're American and expect crispy bacon, you may be a little disappointed, but it's still delicious. I did sample most of everything over 2 days. Love the thick hot chocolate. Very close to many great sightseeing places and close to Atocha station. Amenities wise: be patient as the elevator is very slow, and in room hair dryer overheats and shuts off way too fast (45seconds).

Wish there was a coffee station in the room. Also the room key card operates both the air conditioning and lighting so we were unable to have it cool for sleeping when the lights were off. Also, all lights - including the bathroom - were either on or off.

駅から重いスーツケースを運んだせいか思ったより遠く感じました。古いホテルですがお部屋の床が木のフローリングで温かみを感じました。レティーロ公園を散歩したい人にはゲートもわりと近くおすすめの場所です。金庫の鍵はデポジットをすれば借りられるということを知らなかったので、後で借りに行きましたが、いつもチェックインのお客様でごった返していたので、結局借りられないままチェックアウトを迎えました。金庫を使いたい方は忘れずチェックインの時に借りてくださいね。

Very comfortable stay. Close to Atocha station. Helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good shower and bath. No kettle in the room so couldn’t have a cup of tea in the morning without calling for room service. Obviously a very British thing and perhaps there are not many British guests stay there. Definitely would have appreciated a morning cup of tea though.

During our 2 weeks of vacation in Spain, we stayed at 4 different hotels in various cities. Unfortunately this hotel left us with a very unpleasant experience. This hotel has poor, very slow Wi-Fi. Upon check in, we found hair clumps on the floor, shower tub wall tiles had black clumps of mold. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, this hotel does not provide free bottles of water daily or security box. You need to deposit 15 euro to get the security box key which is refunded back to you after check out. Bath towels are sand-paper quality and worn out and there’s no small hand towels. Bathroom has constant sewer odor that stayed duration of our stay even though we sprayed the bathroom with perfume spray. We definitely will not come back to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone if you want to have a pleasant hotel stay in Madrid. One positive note is that it is short walking distance to Atocha train station, Prado museum and Retiro park.

The room bathroom had sewage odor, we tried to rinse the bidet next to the toilet with hot water and close it, then the odor is gone, but came back after next day !!!! From our room, we can hear people talking in the next room, it was so noisy.

Værelset var egentligt rummeligt, seng var af middelmådig kvalitet, parkering fin men i den dyre ende, rengøringen var håbløs. Rengøringspersonalet redte sengen og tømte skraldespanden, ikke andet. Badeværelset blev IKKE gjort ordentligt rent, hår ved afløb etc… lidt klamt. Bestemt ikke et 4 stjernet hotel… nærmere 2 max 3 stjerner…. Skuffende

The property is in excelent location that is concenient to the Retiro Park and train station. The staff is fantastic, very friendly. The property looks very clean, but my bed has bed bugs that I had skin itch the entire two nights. I couldn't sleep. I thought it was my allergy some how, which is very rare for me, untile I saw the visible bed bug bites. Terroble two nights, didn't sleep much. Will not go there again.

We thought this was a very nice clean hotel. The room and bathroom were a good size. The breakfast buffet was good, not great. The maître d was not friendly at all. The only problem we had was our key cards stopped working and we had to wait in line to get new ones. Most importantly after staying in two previous hotels where the A/C barely cooled, the AC worked great!

The hotel's location near the train station was the main reason I booked it. The rooms were quite large. I wished it had a coffee maker in the room but it did have a small refrigerator. Unfortunately it was easy to hear what was going on in room besides us. When their alarm went off in the morning, it sounded like it was in my room. For an overnight, it worked out very well.

Esperava mais de um hotel 4 estrelas. O quarto é confortável e possui camas king size, o que é um ponto positivo. Porém, na primeira noite, o sistema de aquecimento de água não estava funcionando adequadamente e o chuveiro não esquentava o suficiente. O técnico foi ao quarto imediatamente, mas não conseguiu resolver. Em seguida, nos foi oferecida a troca para um quarto com duas camas de solteiro, o que recusamos. Também nos pediram para ficar à disposição do técnico da manhã seguinte, o que não consentimos, já que tínhamos uma programação turística. Na manhã seguinte, o aquecimento voltou a funcionar normalmente e permaneceu assim durante toda a nossa estada. A televisão não é smart, então acaba tendo pouca utilidade. O isolamento acústico é muito ruim. Além disso, a pizza servida no restaurante do hotel não é boa. Não voltaria ao hotel.

The hotel is outdated definitely not a 4 star, we stayed here 3 nights it was convenient and a walking distance from Parque de Retiro also close to the main attractions of Madrid,unfortunately you can hear if someone is taking a shower or using the toilet in the nearby rooms also very noisy in the morning when the housekeepers come to clean the rooms at 7:30 am and it seems like they are renovating instead of cleaning, other than this if your not bothered by the noise is not a bad option for the price considering what else is out there

The hotel is walkable from Atocha Station and Metro stops, but furthe away from the centre of Madrid. The rooms are ok but basic and with little soundproofing. The front desk staff appeared to be overworked and rushed. The hotel seems to focus mainlly on catering for tour groups.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay while in Madrid. The hotel staff were so helpful in storage our luggage before check in. The room was clean, and big enough for my son and I. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Atocha station, and about 5 minutes walk to the Menéndez Pelayo metro station. All in all, if we are in Madrid again, I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was a good size but there were not enough plugs. Also, the main light switch is concealed by the pillows, that took me a while to figure out. There is also a lot of street construction going on which is not noted on the website and makes for a difficult walk to Atocha train station.

This hotel is conveniently located near several points of interest, especially the Atocha train station. The hotel is on a corner which makes it easy to grab a taxi. We walked 10 minutes to Prado Museum. The room was quite comfortable for 4 people. We stayed overnight to grab the train so it was perfect!

Great value for money. Walkable from Retiro Park and very close to Atocha Metro station which is a couple of stops away from the city center. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the bathroom utilities. My only feedback is that my wife was sick as she is pregnant so we were a few minutes late for breakfast. We understand that we could not be served in the cafeteria however requested if we could takeaway some readymade breakfast items at least but were told no.

Overall, I think it's a good hotel. I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity. + The hotel interior was clean and comfortable. + The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. + The hotel staff were all very kind. + There was a supermarket right near the hotel, which was convenient for buying simple groceries and daily necessities. + The heater in the bathroom for drying laundry was broken and unusable. + I couldn't tell if it was because the walls were thin or if my neighbors were just too loud, but I could hear their conversation (a couple talking) very clearly. Since I didn't know what language they were speaking, it sounded like loud noise to me, but it was so transparent that someone who spoke the same language could probably understand the content clearly. Even if it was due to thin walls, I couldn't change the room's structure anyway, so it was unavoidable, but I just wanted to share that I experienced something like that.

Check in was very slow. My room develop a severe leak in the bathroom ceiling but they were very helpful and quick to move me into a different (slightly upgraded) room which I appreciated. The bed was large and comfortable. It was well placed for Madrid Train station which was why I booked it. A short less than 10 minutes walk. I ate in the restaurant too which was pretty mediocre. Breakfast was fine, usual hotel buffet options. But the breakfast room is very noisy! If you want a calm start to your day go for breakfast elsewhere.
