A great property in the middle of Madrid. An easy walk to restaurants, bars, museums, shopping. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The bar/restaurant in the lobby was a plus. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. Would highly recommend it!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Catalonia Puerta del Sol! The reception people were always kind and friendly. We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location of the hotel too, everything was walkable from the hotel. We especially liked the bartender, Belen, in the hotel bar. She was so fun and sweet! Do yourself a favor and book your stay asap!

Todo muy bien. Solo apunto dos cosas (más para el hotel que para posibles clientes): el parking que está a 20 m es un poco más caro de lo que se dice. El ventilador del aire condicionado hacía mucho ruido (blanco), hay quien no se entera o se acostumbra, pero se podria reducir el ruido. Aún así muy recomendable, ir sin miedo.

Amazing staff and rooms. What an absolutely gorgeous hotel! It is also in a wonderful neighborhood and walkable with tons of food and entertainment options all around. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

朝食が美味しかったです。朝食会場はコンパクトなサイズではありますが、種類も豊富でスタッフも丁寧に対応してくれました。部屋はとても快適でした。ただ、ベッドの下だけゴミが残っていたのが気になりました。それ以外は綺麗だったので泊まるのに支障はありませんでした。ポットやアメニティも揃っておりもう少し居たいなと思いました。立地は中心地にあり地下鉄もすぐなのでマドリードの主要スポットにアクセスしやすいです。

A very nice hotel, well-situated near many restaurants. Our room was modest in size but very modern, clean, and comfortable. Fantastic bed. Soundproofing against street noise was remarkable. The breakfast buffet (extra charge) was impressive.

Many Catalonia hotels on same road, was dropped at wrong hotel, walking in Madrid heat. Welcome here and front desk team were pleasant. Room bed wasn’t the most comfortable and bathroom is modern but please lubricate the door!, noisy to open and close rm 209. Had the Street view with good sound proofing. Does it get the come back?, no, many options available, does it get the nice hotel, yea.

The hotel was excellent. Small with charm. Our room was comfortable with a lovely street view. Loved the comfort of the bed and linens. Bathroom shampoo, soap, and body lotion, Argan Meadow, were wonderful. We were exploring Madrid with another couple and never ate breakfast or ate from the bar, though the thought to do so was there but we just never got to it.

Extremely pleased. Room decor, lighting, tables, nooks, bedding and space ( I got the Superior room) were just perfect. I took ample time researching for a hotel and this was one worth the effort. Perfect location for what i wanted. Lots of great activity around...but the coziness, quality and sound proofing nature of the room made it such a great get away at night. I did have one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the indoor courtyard...which i ended up loving more than a street balcony. Lovely housekeeping and front desk staff also! The next time I get to Madrid I will definitely stay here again. Hands down. :)

Hotel was fabulous! The only issue we had was our rooms were extremely hot bc the hotel AC had not been turned on yet. We asked for a fan and got one right away but to pay what we paid and have to sleep in a stifling room for a few nights was a concern. We finally had AC on the last night bc it was turned on but it did not work well at all. So yes hotel and location are GREAT but the lack of a AC should have been better handled.

We got to the hotel very early and the staff got us an early check in. They always gave us a hand to look for transportation when needed. The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and informative. They were always ready to help us with our many questions. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space for two. For an additional fee, we enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The property was located within walking distance of the very lively Puerta Del Sol square with lots of dining and shopping options. The Metro stops are also within walking distance. We had a good stay and would go back.

We loved our stay! The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The optional breakfast was very good and had lots of hot and cold choices. Don’t miss the fresh squeezed orange juice! The location is close to two metro stops but is also within decent walking distance of many of the great sights of Madrid. If you are able to keep the windows closed, noise at night is not an issue. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and warmth.
