Our room here was such a welcome respite after 24+ hours of no sleep/travel time. Beds were comfortable and shower worked well. Outlets had USB ports (the only place we saw this in Spain). We were able to walk to all of the major sites from here, but we’re far enough away that it was quiet at night. The bar downstairs was also an easy spot to grab a wine.

Este hotel es espectacular. Muy limpio, cómodo y acogedor. Localizado en una zona muy bella de Madrid, cerca de tiendas, restaurantes y todo lo que hace falta para sentirse a gusto. Los empleados son demasiado amables y profesionales. El hotel cuenta con una barra en el primer piso y restaurante ( donde la comida es deliciosa). Del hotel en sí diria que todo perfecto, además tiene una cafetera con café y té en la habitación y eso nos gustó mucho. La pega es el aparcamiento ya que hay que dejar el coche en parkings públicos en la calle, y cargar con la maleta. La zona nos ha gustado y seguro repetiremos.

The location of the Hotel Indigo Madrid-Princesa is ideal. It is located next to the Arguelles Metro stop across the street from El Corte Ingles. This is a safe but lively mixed residential and retail area. It was formerly called the Hotel Tirol. The staff off the hotel is very attentive and polite. We were very pleased with the breakfast and dinner that was included in our package. There is a lot going on at the hotel restaurant--there seem to be many locals eating there. We will stay at this Hotel again on our next trip to Madrid.

Lo bueno del Hotel es su excelente ubicación, cerca del metro y muy cerca de plaza España y la gran vía. Lo regular es su desayuno tiene buen sabor, pero tiene poca variedad y cada día es lo mismo, si planean quedarse varios días en el hotel NO paguen la opción que incluya el desayuno, ya que si lo hacen desayunarán lo MISMO todos los días Y por último lo peor la limpieza es muy mala, 1 día de mi estancia NO realizaron limpieza y eso que no estuve en la habitación en todo el día, otro día no se llevaron las toallas sucias, al tercer día ya tenía una montaña de toallas sucias que no se llevaban. Las cobijas no las cambian. En resumen si planean reservar en este hotel su mejor ganancia es por la ubicación, pero no recomiendo que lo pidan con plan de alimentos y exijan la limpieza de su habitación como debe de ser

The room itself was clean as were some parts of the bathroom, but the shower stall and behind the toilet were dirty. The toilet area was the absolute worst! It had the smell of sewer which was absolutely disgusting. When I looked at the floor behind the toilet, there was a space next to a pipe which had some paper stuck in it, yet it didn’t cover up the space completely. On the floor itself, under this pipe, there was a black mess which looked to be mold. My thought is that sewer water leaks out of the side on this pipe and collects on the floor, therefore the awful smell and mold growing. Totally unacceptable and truly awful! Bad experience.

We choose this property because it was close to the dorm where our son is studying. Room was nice, bed comfortable and staff at hotel were helpful and kind. Near train stop and if you are a walker, easy to get to more Madrid sites.

Wooden floors create a huge amount of noise from other rooms. Chairs moving, footsteps, banging around, doors creaking and slamming. Carpets create a calmer less noisy, more comfortable atmosphere. I must also have had the water pipes coming down past my room as I got the whoosh of water coming down from above when someone presumably uses the shower or toilet. I asked to move rooms as a result and this was actioned for me without hesitation. Nice hotel overall and the room I had in the end was quiet and relaxing but it could have not been relaxing stay if I’d have stayed in my original room with all the noise.

Fuí en viaje familiar, eramos 3, nos pusieron en una habitación super justa, hacia mucho calor, no podiamos controlar la calefacción. los espacios para mi gusto son escasos, sobretodo en armarios. La Habitación super incómoda las camas estaban ocupando toda la habitación, si prácticamente poder desplazarte. Para dos personas ok, para 3 me deberian de haber asignado una más grande.

We showed up at the Hotel at 11:00 AM and asked at reception if our room could be possibly ready. A nice young lady staff checked on the computer, called someone, and told me to come back at 12:30 PM when our room was going to be ready. We came back at 12:40 PM. The same lady was not there, but a male staff, whom very rudely said that it was not possible for us to use the room early, that his colleague should have not promised that, and that he didn’t know when the room was going to be ready. We sat at the reception; my son and husband passed out at the chairs from jet lag. While we waited, the lady that promised the room to us, showed up. I overheard her explaining to her colleague things like: we were staying 3 nights, that we prepaid for our room, that there were rooms ready. But he told her we needed to wait. She came to us, apologized, and promised another 30-40 minutes wait. After an hour passed, the female staff left the hotel for the day. I went to ask how close we were to be able to use the room and he responded that he did not know. At some point we got our room but this guy ruined our first day in Madrid with his not welcoming and not willing to help attitude. If since the beginning, we would have been told “no” to an early checking, it would have been better than what he did, and probably just for asserting his power. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and we would not go back to this hotel in the future.

An sich sehr nettes Hotel, die Location war auch sehr gut, in 20 min zu Fuß kann man Plaza España erreichen. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war das Frühstücksbüffet, es war sehr langweilig, keine große Auswahl, jeden Tag das selbe und der Personal hat nicht nachgefüllt… wenn man nicht so früh zum Frühstück kam, hatte man die “guten” Sachen verpasst und diese wurden nicht wieder frisch nachgemacht.
