Excellent hotel with shuttle service, gym was amazing, breakfast was out of this world!

This hotel is very good. As one of the hotel’s attributes, it lists its proximity to the airport complete with transportation to and from the airport. It neglects to say that morning bus service does not begin until well after 7:00 a.m. You will need taxi service if you have a morning flight.

Fantastic hotel. Not much around it. The rooms are beautiful, new, huge. We are a family of 4 and were given a suite with the biggest two rooms we stayed in during our Europe vacation. The gym was fantastic too, a full gym with weights and tons of cardio equipment and stretching facilities. The only problem is the area. There are basically no decent restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk, and very limited public transportation. If you are going to the airport and that’s it, this hotel is perfect.

Property has online pictures of a swimming pool but the property does not have a swimming pool just make it confusing to know other than that everything is good

Rooms were spacious, bed was big with lovely cotton sheets ,only downside was the bed sqeaked every time you moved .Dark curtains, very quiet ,clean

Have experienced comfortable and pleasant stays at the Melia Hotels in Spain, and this hotel was no exception. Rooms are clean and spacious (for European hotels), the bathroom was roomy, bed linen and towels were classic and comfortable, no noise issues, and there was even a Nespresso machine in the room! Breakfast was excellent - not only was there a lot of variety, but food was very fresh and there were a lot of fresh, healthy options. Wanted to give 4 1/2 stars instead of 4 (no option to do that) mainly because some reception staff were a little dismissive or curt; and requested an extra towel and was categorically told it would not be possible. Seemed odd that a simple request like this was denied. First time this has happened. Hotel is a little dated but looks like there have been some updates made in certain parts, and it was clean. Some nice stores and restaurants are easily accessible by car, taxi, or ride share. Hotel has an airport shuttle that was on time and very accessible.

The reception, the lobby and the breakfast are excellent. The room is spacious and comfortable. What I didn’t like is I found a woman hair in the bed what it should be cleaned. I made a photo but I didn’t complain to the reception as it was for one night stay.

The room was spotless, the staff courteous, the amenities top tier.

Tudo foi maravilhoso: amenidades, cama extremamente confortáve, chuveiro forte, toalhas felpudas, limpeza, conforto, café da manhã farto e com muitos itens de qualidades, várias máquinas da Nespresso, churros, jamón ibérico, , etc. Vontade de retornar a Madrid só para ficar neste hotel novamente!

Melia Avenida was such a nice hotel. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful, and speak multiple languages for tourists. We arrived at the property a few hours before check in, and they have a big lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks which made it super comfortable for us after a long flight. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable, they offer robes and slippers, and very new. Our sleeping was not an issue at all, and we weren’t able to hear other guests in the middle of the night. The hotel restaurant has lots of options and is reasonable priced and serve good quality food. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we had a great experience. Continental breakfast was amazing. Check in was great and staff were great. Only issue I had was there was a smell when my wife and I first walked into the room. It wasn’t a nice smell. We turned on the air conditioner and slowly disappeared. Plus we also didn’t spend much time in the room besides sleeping and showering. Another issue we had was with one of the staff members in the restaurant down stairs. She was rude. Besides that great place to stay.

Hotel cerca del aeropuerto, el personal amable, limpio. En general recomendable. El transporte al aeropuerto puntual y gratuito. Nos extrañó que no tuvieran agua de cortesía, como en la mayoría de los hoteles, pero de cualquier forma ahí te venden. Pero si estan disponibles lapices de colores y articulos de uso personal. Dormimos muy tranquilos y silencioso.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the wifi was good. The fitness center was well equipped, and the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas were well appointed. The parking was $15/night but was convenient and safe. However, the room air conditioning did not cool the room properly (I set it to 20C but it never went below 24C and reset twice during the night), and there was no air conditioning in the fitness center.

Fikk et rom rett ved heisen. Inne på rommet er det som man står ved siden av dem som prater ute på gangen mens de venter eller kommer ut av heisen. Ventilasjonsanlegget på rommet laget lyder og virker ikke skikkelig. Det gjorde at det ble dårlig med søvn. Lite hjelp å få fra personalet. Rommene har også ikke vindu med kan se ut av noe som gjorde rommet veldig ukoselig.

Very clean and nice rooms. Only downside was that they could not provide connecting rooms for families. My wife and I had to separately stay with kids.

Everything is good except the beds, which do not guarantee that they are queen or king size and in winter you cannot turn down the air conditioning and it is a little hot in the rooms. The staff is very nice and the place is safe.

Excellent property but the worst air conditioning ever. Too hot to come back here unless is in December/January period.

I know it's a courtesy to offer a free shuttle but it took a long time for the shuttle to pick up all the people waiting for it at the airport. The staff also does not tell you to sign up for a time slot in getting the shuttle back to the airport, which came as a surprise to me when I was ready to go to the airport on the last day but had to catch an Uber instead. I saw the shuttle for a different Melia location 2-3 times before the shuttle for Melia Avenida America showed up. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and professional. The hotel seems modern and nice. However, the 2 rooms I was initially assigned to did not have normal windows. Rather, the windows were up high near the ceiling, not allowing guests to see out the window. It took 2 room changes before I was assigned to a room with a normal window that I could open the curtains and see out of. Once I was in the final room, I was happy. However, the bathroom floor squeaked in spots, and the toilet bowl was not fully fastened to the floor. Aside from that, the room was lovely. Breakfast is not available until 7:00 a.m. so if you have an early tour planned, you may have to skip breakfast, which I was told cost 16 euros. You can't even buy water before the breakfast room is open. This location is a 30-45 minute bus ride from city center. You can catch the bus across the street from the hotel. The Metro is not conveniently located near the hotel. I would stay near city center next time.

Excellent stay. Staff, accommodations and food exceeded my expectations.

We've stayed in Melias before so we chose the hotel based on reliability. The room was clean, lovely luxurious bedding and we had an exceptional nights sleep! The breakfast buffet was incredible, so much choice, great quality ingredients - we may have had 2 or 3 plates each! The only downside was that we struggled getting in contact with the hotel. Prior to our stay, we were asked to check in but the internet links provided didnt work. We emailed 3x times to explain this but had no response, we were unable to book our airport shuttle and getting from the airport took us 1hr 30 minutes, the metro and a taxi. Being 20 weeks pregnant this was really hard work. It was a shame that we couldnt have arranged this as it was another reason we booked the hotel. Apart from the lack of communication we would stay again.

This hotel turned out to be a real gem. Everything feels new, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained, which immediately sets a relaxing tone the moment you walk in. The quality of sleep was exceptional-quiet rooms, comfortable bedding, and zero hallway noise, which is rare even in higher-end places. The staff deserves a mention too: professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant without being intrusive. You get the sense that they take pride in their work, and it shows in all the small details. Overall, it’s the kind of stay that makes you think, “Why can’t every hotel be like this?” Clean, modern, calm, and run by people who clearly know what they’re doing. Highly recommended.

Great service in this lovely property. Front desk and lounge staff both excellent. Taxi and bus available outside as near the airport not city centre. Great buffet breakfast and all-day lounge was very nice also.

Buen hotel, buen desayuno. EL hotel es cómodo pero no es especial para familias, me pareció mas bien un hotel muy empresarial. Lo bueno es que tiene transfer desde el aeropuerto pero si se quiere ir al centro el metro esta a 15 min caminando.

Too far from metro

Magnífico hotel, un poco alejado del centro de Madrid pero el autobus pasa enfrente y te tiene ahi en poco más de media hora.

El hotel en si está muy bien, sin embargo está muy lejos de la zona centro y turística de Madrid

Novo, confortável e café da manhã maravilhoso. Ponto de ônibus em frente. 30 min do centro de Madrid.

Great stay, clean and modern. Only suggestion is if you plan to go into city often best to stay closer. Taxi uber ride was at least 20 Euros each way.

A little far from the main attractions of Madrid but it is a beautiful hotel and for us worth the distance. Super convenient bus stop across the street will get you where you need to go.

Stayed for 3 nights for a business meeting helped at this hotel. Vegetarian and vegan options were very limited for evening meal. Salad and fruits were provided, but having more options would have been nice.

Todo estuvo excelente, solo que el transporte al aeropuerto empieza a las 7 am y nosotros teníamos que estar a las 6. Otro fue que fuimos a un juego de futbol y al regresar el restaurante estaba cerrado y no había ninguna opción para cenar.

Absolutely incredible experience, only had one night in Madrid and wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport and the staff went over and beyond to make sure that we were accommodated. The restaurant was INCREDIBLE, and ridiculously cheap for the level of hospitality and quality of food received.

Loooved the variety on the breakfast buffet! I mean I did not expect such a spread. Also, is a quiet place away from the crowds which I really appreciated. Would recommend in a heartbeat

La comida en el restaurante, es buena, aunque nos dijeron ok para veganos, solo existe 1 plato apto para "veganos", y al estar el hotel en lugar remoto, se nos complicó la cena para 1 persona vegana

Stayed in the family room here one night before leaving for the airport the next morning. The hotel was clean and rooms were a good size, airport shuttle they offer starts at 7am which I didn’t realize which was one of my main reasons for staying here and our flight left early, not their fault but just fyi if you have an early or late flight don’t expect the shuttle service. Also the rooms were noisey, could t hear some street noise on the 4th level as well as the vents making clicking noises all night. Asp there were no food options or restaurants open till 8pm at night and closest food is about a 20 min walk away. Hotel isn’t close to anything.
