Hotel und Service sind super (wie immer im Hilton), aber Zimmer im neuen Gebäude ist zu weit vom Hauptgebäude entfernt. Parken war mit 28 € unverhältnismäßig teuer!!

Older Hilton Hotel but nice at all. Walking distance to the old town. Just the price for the room is more like New York City than Mainz - that´s too muchg for what you get and the parking garage is overpriced too.

Staff was extremely helpful upon arrival. Catered to our dog during check-in by bringing a water bowl. Room had a blanket, water bowl, food bowl, and new roll of dog bags. Room was large and nice. Restaurant was delicious. Gym was small but had proper equipment. 13 minutes away from outskirts of Wiesbaden and 25 minutes to central Wiesbaden. Across the street from plenty of drink and food options. Lots of designer and boutique shops.

Direkt am Rhein. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer im Domflügel. Das ist ein kleiner Spaziergang von der Rezeption aus, aber dafür ist man näher an der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind okay, die Betten sind sehr gut. Das Frühstück morgens ist super - mit Rheinblick! Nur beim Auschecken war sehr viel Andrang… Da die Lage so top ist (direkt neben der Rheingoldhalle), würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen!

The breakfast was wonderful and the morning staff were very friendly. Checkin was smooth and very helpful. Suggested a lovely self guided walking tour that was really worthwhile. The City wing is quite a distance from the main hotel - that could be better explained while booking. Front desk provided poor information about options for getting to Frankfurt airport. Would stay here again!

Very big hotel. Make sure to get room close to reception as we first got room in new building and no joke when i say it took us 20 min walk to the reception and breakfast room one way. These rooms were big but not renovated. Always thought Hilton is 5 star but this was 3 star hotel. Very friendly staff. Location great. Carpets everywhere= old.

Bathroom shower loves to screech. A dozen signs saying do not put hangers or hang anything but do not provide any space for hooking to steam. Pathetic for a conference hotel. 34 euros for overnight parking is ridiculous.

Did not like the hotel being split between buildings. In building 2 if you didnt gave your key the elevator dropped you on the street.

Clean, quiet and spacious room. Helpful staff. Good tip from receptionist on Wiesbaden and Mainz sights. If you are staying in the City annexe across the bridge between the main hotel and the annexe, the Möhrstrasse car park might be of use as it is below the annex.

Ich habe ein Superior Zimmer gebucht mit Ausblick auf die Stadt. Von dem Zimmer Blick auf die Stadt habe ich leider nicht wirklich viel gesehen. Der eine Blick meines Fensters war direkt gegenüber eines Wohnblocks wo ich die ganze Zeit den Vorhang zumachen musste um nicht ständig beobachtet zu werden und der andere ging auf eine Straße. Der Weg in mein Hotelzimmer war außerdem sehr Abenteuerlich. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat mir nur mit kargen Worten beschreiben können wie ich zu dem Zimmer komme. Also musste ich mich selber auf den Weg machen und nach mehrmaligem Verlaufen bin ich letztendlich im allerletzten Bereich versteckt im anderen Gebäude an meinem Zimmer angekommen. Dort erwartete mich ein in die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer mit einigen Beanstandungen. Mein Bettlaken hatte dreckige braune Flecke, sowie die Toilettenbrille. An der Decke des Badezimmers war die Wand unprofessionell repariert worden und die Fensterbank mit Wasserrändern von Gläsern versehen. Staub war ebenfalls an einigen Stellen offensichtlich zu erkennen.

Stayed for 9 nights for a business trip. Very clean hotel. Very nice staff. Great location. They made me feel like home and were great. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Mainz.

The housekeeping was really bad! The person in charge never pick up the garbage everyday. His job straightening the bed was very unprofessional. Never checked the lotion bottles to refill, never replenished the shower cap, the towels left on the floor (as what guess are supposed to do for new towels) were not picked up nor did we got a new ones. We have to call the front desk for this service. Your housekeeper needs more training.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr alt und nicht richtig sauber. Der Teppich hat schon einige Jahre hinter sich. Der Sessel und Stuhl im Zimmer waren ebenfalls sehr alt. Toilette/Bad (mit Vorhang) muss dringend renoviert werden. Man sieht, dass über mehrere Jahre einfach nichts in die Zimmer investiert worden ist. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es nicht günstig ist. Preis Leistung stimmt hier nicht leider.

Great stay for the most part, but had one big issue. Staff were very helpful and friendly, again for the most part. I woke up early on Tuesday morning with the room being really hot. The aircon had failed and was pumping out hot air. So I turned it off and went to open the window, window wouldn't open. I spent the rest of the night under a towel soaked in cold water to stay cool. Reported both issues to reception before leaving for work. Returned 9 hours later to find nothing had been done. They hadn't had anybody look at the issues.

The location of this hotel is great with a beautiful view of the Rhine. Easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast may the best I’ve had at any hotel. The only downsize may be for families as the rooms don’t accommodate a family of 5 and the twin beds are small.

The Hotel has a good location on the Rhein but the way to the city center is a little, well not so perfect. The room is quiet big. I didn‘t know that Hotels still have shower curtains anf bathtubs. All in all the hotel is good for stay.

Mir hat der Aufenthalt leider überhaupt nicht gefallen. Obwohl ich über Expedia gebucht habe, hieß es beim Check in ich soll vor Ort bezahlen da das angeblich so üblich sei. Wie sich später rausstellte war das natürlich ein Fehler und das Hotel hat mich einfach abgezogen. Hätte die Mitarbeiterin von Expedia mir das am Telefon nicht mitgeteilt, hätte ich keine Rückerstattung bekommen vom Hotel. Dabei ging es um 400€, also auch keine Kleinigkeit… Die Zimmer im Nebengebäude sind in die Jahre gekommen und dunkel, der Ausblick ist nicht schön. Die Zimmer im haupthaus sind deutlich besser, und einige haben auch einen schönen Blick auf den Rhein. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber ich finde das solche Patzer nicht passieren dürfen - als Entschädigung für diese Umstände gab es nicht mal eine Ermäßigung für das Parkticket oder einen Gutschein fürs Frühstück…Schöne Zentrale Lage, aber war eine schreckliche Erfahrung für mich - deshalb würde ich es nicht weiterempfehlen und möchte auch selbst nicht mehr dort übernachten

Great stay for the most part, but had one big issue. Staff were very helpful and friendly, again for the most part. I woke up early on Tuesday morning with the room being really hot. The aircon had failed and was pumping out hot air. So I turned it off and went to open the window, window wouldn't open. I spent the rest of the night under a towel soaked in cold water to stay cool. Reported both issues to reception before leaving for work. Returned 9 hours later to find nothing had been done. They hadn't had anybody look at the issues.

I love the hotel, but personnel at reception is not very consistent. The guy that checked me in denied me breakfast, despite my gold Honor status. I had to clarify with another guy in the next day, who was very helpful. At check out, I specifically asked if the invoice would be in my company's address and the lady confirmed. When I got it a few minutes later per e-mail, it was on my personal address.

Beim Checkin in unser Zimmer standen wir einer Dame im Zimmer gegenüber die gerade aus der Dusche kam. Für uns beide eine sehr unangenehme Situation. Das Zimmer war scheinbar doppelt vergeben wurden. Als wir wieder an der Rezeption waren und von unserem Erlebnis berichteten, gab es keine Reaktion, nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Im zweiten Zimmer angekommen, stand dort ein Babybett. Wir haben dann am Empfang angerufen und gefragt, ob sie sich sicher sind, dass das Zimmer frei ist. Die Rezeptionistin kam dann vorbei um sich von dem Babybett zu überzeugen. Statt es mitzunehmen wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass es gleich vom Housekeeping abgeholt wird. Da nach 30 min noch keiner da war stellten wir es auf den Flur, da wir uns hinlegen wollten. Der Früstücksraum ist leider sehr ungemütlich, super hellhörig und damit sehr laut. Für ein vier Sterne Hotel leider kein guter Service. Beim Frühstück war Selbstbedienung angesagt sich mit den Getränken. Auch beim checkout wurden wir nicht gefragt ob wir uns wohlgefühlt haben. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Hotel was great but the service in restaurant was appalling. Despite there being only 3 other people in the restaurant and 3 servers I had to ask them to come to table to serve us. Finally my wife was served soup with knife and fork laid out but no spoon again we had to find a server and ask for a spoon

Sehr langes check in, nur eine Person am Schalter, lange Schlange zum anstehen. Am Abend auf der Terrasse 30 auf Bedienung gewartet (Servicepersonal inkl. Manager ignorierten uns sowie weitere Gäste) danach nochmals 20 Minuten bis Getränke kamen inkl. 3x Nachfragen was wir denn möchten, über den ungerechtfertigten Preis für zwei Glas Chardonnay ganz zu schweigen. DAS ist nicht ok, denn dieser Name verpflichtet.... oder zumindest stand der Name HILTON Hotel früher für Top Qualität. Für uns war es jedenfalls der letzte Besuch bei dieser Kette.

Tolles Hotel in der Innenstadt von Mainz, direkt am Rhein gelegen. Service im Restaurant absolut super, an der Rezeption geben sich die Mitarbeiter auch die größte Mühe, leider war aber die Rezeption am Sonntag Vormittag zur Hauptabreisezeit mit nur zwei Personen absolut unterdeckt. Offensichtlich zu wenig Personal für solche Menschenmassen. Ewiges Warten beim Check In,..und am Folgetag eindeutig überfordertes Personal beim Frühstücksbuffet. Wartende Frühstückgäste am Eingang, überfüllter Frühstückssaal. Es wurde eindeutig nicht getaktet bzw. organisiert und kommuniziert wie/wann Gruppen und Einzel-Gäste beim Frühstück unterkommen sollen. Alles in Allem war es eine einzige Katastrophe sich dort um diese Uhrzeit aufzuhalten. Zu allem Überfluss lief da auch noch ein Hund herum. Das mache ich nicht nochmal mit. Ein gutes Frühstück hätte ich bei diesem Preis in aller Würde in der Stadt bekommen können.

Das Hilton Mainz liegt sehr zentral direkt am Rhein. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man zu Fuss erreichen. Wir hatten ein Standartzimmer , war für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Sehr gut, es gibt eine Parkgarage kostenpflichtig.

excellent bus links to Mainz Hbf, Mainz Kastell and Mainz Romer stations, easy walk across the bridge to Mainz Kastell too so easy to get the S-bahn to Frankfurt, Frankfurt Airport and regional trains to Darmstadt and the Rheingau- a group day ticket which is for a max 5 adults was the best value for money and less than a single ticket in UK usually.. Easy walk to the shops and Dom platz too as well along the Rhein to all the various Tor Strasse. Staff attentive and overall very good. We stayed 15 nights. There were 2 days our rooms were not cleaned, and a few days that only the sink being wiped, towels folded and bed made and cursery vacuum was done but I think thats more a reflection on only 2 young men having to do a full floor by 2pm and most people not being there for a full holiday but rapid turnaround of flught crews. I ended up wiping down the dusty bedside tables myself (left clear to make it easier for them) a couple of times. Some of the other guests were airline staff who were obnoxious in their entitled attitude towards the hotel, overtaking reception when they arrive, and when using the lift, such as crowding the door and not standing back to let people out, squashing you physically with their luggage or overly large bodies (Delta especially) but that isn't the fault of the hotel.

The Hotel has a good location on the Rhein but the way to the city center is a little, well not so perfect. The room is quiet big. I didn‘t know that Hotels still have shower curtains anf bathtubs. All in all the hotel is good for stay.

Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine fantastische Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal an der Rezeption und an der Bar – ein rundum perfekter Service! Ich kann das Hilton Mainz uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Great location, great staff, great room (top floor and river view) with access to executive lounge (don’t expect too much from this however, it was packed and picked clean at 19:00 and completely empty, without food or ice, the next morning 7:00-8:00. Free coffee and soda though!). Parking right under the hotel but exceedingly expensive.

Amazing stay in Hilton. The hotel is excellent, great service, our room was upgraded to River View which was a pleasant suprise. Easy to get anywhere from the hotel, lovely bars along the bank of Rhein just at the door step.
