Personal i pool-baren är underbara och trevliga. Det ligger perfekt och är underbart under December då det är fullt jultema! Men denna gång var servicen inte det bästa. De har personal som öppnar dörrar men ibland stod de och drömde och stirrade ut och missade att folk kom. Dessutom var det ett bankande hela dagarna så man kunde inte slappna av och inte riktigt jobba då det lät. När jag ringde skulle de kolla upp vad det var och återkomma, men fick en lapp att kontakta receptionen men när jag kom dit visste de inte vad det var om. Ingen proffsig service vilket är synd då hotellet i övrigt är bra. Mycket trevlig poolbar på toppen dock men tyvärr inte uppvärmd så även om det i November var 22 grader var det 16 i poolen och 18 i havet...

I would like to add information about the elevators in the building. They are under all critisism, all of the guest elevators are prioritized to the 15th floor (rooftop terazz), so all of the times you need to wait an extremely realllly long time to get to your floor or to the reception. They should change that to one or two elevators being prioritized and the other one not and can be used easily for the guest. I would also like to add a comment about the personel in the rooftop bar - they could be more friendly. They felt like they did not want to be there. The rooftop area and pool itself is amazing, and the view is perfect. The cleaning could be a bit better (like swiping the floors and changing the shower gel during the week - I had to ask for that since they did not even check if the container was empty). Overall a nice hotel, we hade a wonderful balcony, comfy beds and pillows, and view / location was amazing. Really friendly staff in the reception. Would rate it as 3 star, not 4 or higher. :) Kudos to you guys!

Superb hotel, not very modern but excellent. Fantastic view from the rooftop restaurant and swimming pool. No parking ! Public parking very close but awfully expensive. This is one of my favourite hotels.

Graet hotel and location, parking was at a public space just across the road at about 30euro a day. Due to xmas eve we ate at the hotel, the food was great but service was very poor but it was xmas eve. Will stay again but will miss xmas eve as nothing happening outside but lovely lights

We stayed for our business trip for about 9 days. They have a great breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor. There’s a pool on the rooftop you can use if you don’t mind everyone at the bar watching you. Rooftop restaurant food was average; you’re definitely paying for the view not for the food. The staff were all very friendly. Only downfall, being a business trip we needed WiFi to do our business . It worked barely 25% of the while we were there. Technician came twice but only fixed it temporarily and it made working difficult.

4 night short break for senior couple. Had used this venue for meeting up with friends in the past for coffee. This was the first time using it as our hotel base. Location and service was superb. Only downside is that tickets are sold to non- residents for the roof terrace bar at night as well as for events in the daytime. It makes business sense but is not great for residents.

Overall an average hotel. Positives: - Location - close to the marina and only 20 min walk from the train station - Very comfy bed - Large bathroom and very good shower - Room cleaned every day - made a lovely fuss of my sister for her birthday, with a cake and a balloon in the room when we arrived Negatives: - The wait for the lifts was ridiculous - Soundproofing from the corridors wasn’t great - Breakfast is quite expensive, so we chose to go elsewhere - there are plenty of places for pastries and breakfast nearby. - Air conditioning was lacking power - Rooftop gets too busy - we were advised that if you say you’re a resident, they will try and get you a seat, but there was no method to the waiting/seating, it was just a free for all. We would try a different hotel in the centre next time.

Our room smelled of drain. We reported this to the reception, unfortunately it smelled the whole stay. The beds are uncomfortable. The staff in the rooftop restaurant was very unfriendly. The staff at the rooftop bar was very friendly. Unfortunately, the pool was very dirty, you have to fight for loungers. The location of the hotel is great. Everything is good on foot and can be reached quickly. Unfortunately, the hotel is not worth 4 stars

Hotel beds and rooms so comfortable with all conveniences, wonderful breakfast with great coffee and huge selection of foods, friendly staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant has an amazing view and great tapas for happy hour. Only drawbacks- street noise not good at fourth floor and smoke drift- as smoking was allowed on the balconies-was irritating. There was a bad plumbing smell in the bathroom mainly in the morning. Would stay again definitely though despite.

Rooms were large and attractive. Bed was very comfy. It was in a great part of Malaga, close to all the attractions, bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar and pool was a real bonus. I would highly recommend.

Das Zimmer lag direkt am Fahrstuhl und war nicht schallisoliert wie angegeben. Alle Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern waren zu hören. Der Blick aus dem Fenster war auf einen Innenhof, man schaute direkt auf die Wand und das Fenster von gegenüber. Die Lüftungen nach draußen hörte man daher die ganze Nacht. Die Zimmer waren ganz einfach eingerichtet. Die Betten waren hervorragend. Das Bad war gut ausgestattet. Wir waren zu zweit, für eine Person wurden nur Kosmetikartikel bereitgestellt. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann für eine weitere Person alles bereit gestellt. Die Dachterrasse war sehr schön. Der Ausblick sehr beeindruckend. Sehr wenig Liegen am Pool, die auch noch mit Handtüchern den ganzen Tag belegt und reserviert wurden. Meine Tochter ist schwanger und bestellte sich einen alkoholfreien Cocktail. Auf Nachfrage an der Bar ob dieser auch wirklich alkoholfrei sei, bestätigte man uns dies !!!! Der Cocktail war mit Alkohol und wir mussten diesen zurück geben. Man stellte uns als Wiedergutmachung ein ganz kleines Näpfchen mit Gummibären hin. Unfassbar. Das Hotel ist auf Grund seiner Lage nur gut. Alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten an der Rezeption nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt, dies war nicht möglich, da alle Zimmer belegt waren.

Excellent stay right in the center of the historic area. Amazing location, right across from the boardwalk for morning walks/runs and next to the Malaga Cathedral. Quality was second to none as you would expect from Marriott. Staff kind and courteous.

The only issue was during dinner at d restaurant. We had to ask three times for the dessert menu. When we finally got it, we sat there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to approach us,and ask what we wanted for dessert. We left without ordering it. It was a 170 euro dinner and I still left a very generous tip out of courtesy but tgey need to assign specific waiters to specific tables so tgere is continuity of service and consistency.

I felt very welcome from the minute I entered the property. I requested a room that was as quiet as possible and Gemma at the front desk obliged. I also mentioned to her that I was thinking of changing the day I would take a tour to Marbella, so she helped me rearrange that. I also said that I get motion sick and try to get a seat at the front of the bus, so she offered to call the company and see if they could arrange that. She could not have been more helpful. I found other staff to be the same including the restaurant staff who kindly made me sandwiches the night before to take on the day of my trip as I was going to be leaving before they started serving breakfast. Everyone I encountered was very friendly & helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is also very convenient to the port area and the promenade there and right beside the Cathedral.

Location is superb. All major old town sights within a few minutes of walking. Front desk staff were excellent- especially Victoria. Breakfast was pretty average and staff there busy and not especially friendly. 15th floor restaurant has excellent views over the city, but we found the menu quite limiting and therefore decided not to eat there. There are lots of restaurants just around a corner to choose from. Room had excellent views to the harbor and had a nice little balcony but unfortunately was next to the elevators, so a bit of noise late night from people.

Excellent stay right in the center of the historic area. Amazing location, right across from the boardwalk for morning walks/runs and next to the Malaga Cathedral. Quality was second to none as you would expect from Marriott. Staff kind and courteous.

Excellent location. Lovely spacious room. The staff were very good, and always on hand. The pool is an oasis on a hot day but there are no umbrellas, which limits the time you can spend there. Fabulous views. Great rooftop bar and restaurant. The breakfast was very good. Can’t fault anything really. It’s exactly what you expect from a four star hotel. The only negative was how noisy the front of the hotel is. I had a balcony but it wasn’t pleasant to sit out there. Nice to have it and good to dry swimming things at the end of the day but the traffic, noise from the port, and the music coming from somewhere until late at night leaked into the room. On the plus side the blackout curtains are very effective. I recommend this place if you are planning on splitting time between sight seeing and relaxing by the pool. It’s the best of all things for a city hotel.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in Malaga, it is very central to the historic centre, easy acces to bus services and train routes. Taxi station right outside the door, and staff friendly. Only complaint it can get a bit noisy from the street late on but this doesn't last. Would definitely recommend and would use again

Our third stay at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Prime location next to the cathedral with a lovely rooftop pool with stunning views all over the city and port. After 7pm it becomes a rooftop bar. The restaurant is also worth a visit. The room was spotless with great amenities, water, tea and coffee etc. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy the sights of Malaga.
