Hotel Larios Málaga

Very helpful and friendly staff . Nice big room. Excellent area. Great terrace bar . Very comfortable bed . Shower/bath wasn’t convenient. No pool. However would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Very helpful staff, super location. Our room was on 3d floor in the historical building. This was two story family room. There is no parking, however, you can leave your park at nearest La Marine parking and get discount if you pay at the hotel.

Hotel Larios er et elegant boutique hotel med 45 værelser og junior suiter. Det er i centrum med stort C. Man kan ikke blive kørt til døren. Hele området er "Centro Historico" - ingen biler. Fra Av. Andalusia er der 5 minutters gang til hotellet. Hotellet er fremragende, men mangler elementer som fitness center, svømmepool, restaurant etc.

Amazing hotel located in a prime location. The only issue was the parking situation and having to lug to big suitcases across the city.

This hotel was very nice. Staff was amazing. There is a great rooftop bar in the hotel.

Please note that you CANNOT drive to this hotel; it's located in a pedestrian only part of town. Not a huge issue as it is close to streets where you CAN drive, but we didn't discover this until we had driven through an area where we shouldn't have. The hotel is an absolute delight - clean, stylish, well-kept, and ideally located. Not only would we recommend it to others, we will stay there again. We enjoyed cocktails at the rooftop bar with a wonderful view out over the city and of the cathedral. The breakfast was also very nice. Really the only criticism I have is with check-in. Malaga was the last (of five) cities we visited while in Spain. In each location before Malaga we found hotels check-ins to be a slow process because passport information had to be collected. As an experienced international traveler, I am accustomed to this when traveling in many countries outside the USA. We we were pleasantly surprised when we got an email offering us the opportunity to "pre-check-in" by providing passport and other registration information in advance. Less than reliable cellular connections and completing the required information on our phones was cumbersome, but I do remember thinking: "Wow! This hotel gets it!" Except they don't! When we arrived at the hotel, we showed the woman at reception the confirmation emails we had received (which said we only needed to collect our keys). She was unyielding and insisted she needed our passports. Big disappointment.

Great location and everyone on the staff was so friendly. The rooftop bar is lovely too. We were even treated to the Christmas music and lights outside which were an added bonus three times each evening!!

Perfect location, excellent breakfast, very good service and on top of that the nicest roof terrace.

This is a beautiful property right on the main drag of Malaga. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed grabbing a drink on the rooftop bar with pretty views. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Leiligheten var fin men badet/dusjen burde oppgraderes, det var også mange lange sorte hår på bade gulvet som vi måtte tørket opp med tørkepapir. Ganske ulekkert! Velkomstgaven var en halv flaske hvitvin som stod på bordet i 30 varmegrader, denne åpnet ikke før dagen etterpå fordi den var varm (måtte sette den i kjøleskap først) men denne måtte vi kaste fordi den luktet edikk og var skikkelig dårlig.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Larios, Malaga. It is the perfect location for a break in Malaga. From we arrived for check in until we left everything was excellent. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. There was a wide variety available for breakfast. The whole experience was exceptional. I highly recommend Hotel Larios Malaga.

A really nice neighborhood and a nice hotel, but unfortunately at least the room on the 4rt floor what we stayed in seemed to suffer from some kind of a moisture issue - perhaps even mold...The air was very heavy, and the smell was quite strong, and it did not go away even if we kept the windows open and the AC on. Our stay was short, so we did not have time to make any replacing arrangements, but if the reservation would have any longer, we would definitely have asked for another room or perhaps moved to another hotel. The feedback was given to the reception, and they promised they would check this.

We were traveling with family and stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse detached from the hotel building. On the plus side, the location is awesome and we enjoyed the terrace.the terrace has beautiful views. On the negative side, the unit has flaws and damage not typical of a 4 star hotel. It was impossible to use Netflix due to the WiFi cutting out every 2 minutes. We tried to call the service desk a couple of times with no answer. Lastly it’s the little things. A 2 BR unit stocked with 1 instant coffee. No coffee maker and no water provided. On another note, we couldn’t sleep all night due to loud teenagers singing and making noise. We noticed the next morning earplugs were stocked in the bathrooms. So enter at your own risk.

We loved our stay at Hotel Larios! We had a large corner suite with 3 terraces overlooking the square. We were lucky enough to enjoy a free festival concert from our windows. Breakfast was great and the rooftop patio was a nice place to cool down. Everyone works hard here and are appreciated.

Les chambres intérieures ne devraient pas exister, on peut littéralement toucher le mur d'en face avec la main depuis la fenêtre. Le personnel est gentil, l'emplacement idéal mais l'impression d'être dans le noir, un séjour de plus d'une nuit aurait été inconcevable. A 270€ la nuit c'est la première fois que je voie cela

Hotel is in perfect location for all your needs in Malaga especially for the Xmas lights . We stayed in a junior suite which was very clean and spacious with views overlooking the square and top of Calle Larios . Bed was so comfortable. Xmas decorations when the lift door opened were unexpected and superb . Breakfast room is very calm and food well presented . Great choice of hot and cold and the staff so helpful.

Room good and clean but there was no sound demanding at all. The noise from above below and outside was very distracting!

My daughter and I had the junior suite with 2 bedrooms The bedrooms were tiny It was a duplex but the bathroom was upstairs at the other side of lounge Not convenient at all The shower must be the smallest on the market . The decor was dark brown made it very dark Considering the size of the apartment it was a poor design. If you're claustrophobic the lift would be a worry. The hotel is in the centre very convenient for all the resturants Cathedral and museums Overall I would choose another hotel in a similar location for my next visit to Malaga

Great location, the room size & bathroom were all excellent. The rooftop bar was awesome- it has wonderful views. Only (minor) issue was the outside noise from revellers during the night.

Second stay here. Very friendly helpful staff. Quickly provided coffee etc that were missing in room. Welcome bottle of wine a lovely thought. Spacious comfortable room with lovely views over main shopping area Accomodation only slightly let down (again) by the bathroom. Narrow access into bathroom, shower not easilly turned on from outside meaning fighting with cold water. Toiletries all looked the same - specs wearer unable to identify without glasses.

Great rooms, super clean, great AC. Customer service excellent. Breakfast okay and recommended. Will need change menu everyday same food. Near all locations. Top floor bar is excellent with great views. Overall, highly recommended. Thanks to Oscar, Caroline and Alonso. They took the time zeta mile to take care of us. Greatly appreciated!

El hotel lindo , muy bien ubicado . La empleada Ana del front desk muy poco amable . Ej , le pregunto si el camino de Málaga a Marbella es sinuoso y me responde en firma seca : Normal , a lo q le digo pero tienen muchas curvas ? Que bueno, que es una carretera que algo de curva hay ….. y con mucha paciencia sin perder la paciencia le explico que le pregunto porque yo me descompongo y si es un camino con mucha curva debo tomar una mediación . Fue descortés cuando le pedí ayuda con información para llegar a Marbella y en general , muy cortante y nada simpática . Lo opuesto al resto del personal afortunadamente que lo atienden a uno con una sonrisa , le desean buen día o preguntan que tal estuvo el paseo , etc . Cuestiones básicas de amabilidad que hacen a la calidad de la atención del hotel , a la imagen del hotel y a que te queden ganas de volver . Porque el trato del personal es fundamental .

A charming vintage hotel with contemporary decor and friendly service (thank you Oscar, and lady at breakfast). Room is comfortable and bright. Buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. The location of this hotel is awesome. Don’t miss out on the rooftop drinks patio - mango frozen daiquiri was a refreshing drink after long day of experiencing Malaga.

Très bon Hotel en plein centre - Petit déjeuner savoureux - Le personnel est très sympa - On dort très bien - Très bien placé, tout est accessible à pied même la gare si vous désirez partir vers Torremolinos à moindre coût ( ce qu'on a fait )

Close to all attractions

Wonderful location on pedestrian street close to restaurants and shopping.

This is a very good hotel if you want a central location as it is in the downtown of malaga. The issue with that is there is a lot of noise from people out eating and partying late at night. If you want to be away from the noise and business pick a hotel outside of the downtown. It is also hard to park in the downtown structures so you have to drag your suitcases through the town to get to the hotel.

Great location in the heart of the city centre. Apartment was in a separate building which initially felt off-putting but we got used to it quickly and really liked the apartment. Lots of noise from the street and square outside but we always take earplugs on holiday so it was fine, and it's to be expected with the central location. The daily cleaning service of the apartment was excellent, and the reception staff were lovely too.

Only complaint is very difficult to find. Check in staff very helpful. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Would stay again.

El hotel está en una ubicación inmejorable. Quizá por eso las 4 estrellas. Los servicios que ofrece y el tamaño de la habitación no corresponde al número de estrellas. El personal muy amable. La cama muy cómoda y la ropa de cama y toallas muy bien. El desayuno no vale la pena. No lo paguen. Caro, malo y poca variedad. No dan agua de cortesía en las habitaciones La tina del baño súper peligrosa. Mi acompañante sufrió una caída muy fuerte que gracias a Dios no paso a mayores.

The hotel was beautiful and the breakfasts were the best we had in Spain. Staff was kind and helpful. I wish they had let us know before we drove there that the entire area was pedestrian only. We were fined by the City of Malaga for doing so, but it's all part of the adventure!

Centralissima ,splendido balcone e affaccio sulla via principale della città. Da migliorare la completa assenza di bollitore e macchina del caffè in camera. La colazione non offre dolci fatti in casa o freschi ma tutto decongelato con nessun menù alla carta extra.
