Firstly the staff at this hotel were fantastic, friendly and competent. This hotel in no way, was worth £113.00. I can only think the decimal point was inserted in the wrong place? Amenities were in the genre of basic needs, the £15.85 pizza I ordered was akin to a microwave one. Lots of “long term” scruffy residents and several barking dogs staying. I stay over for work and can’t why similar working trades see the need for a party for 2 in the room until the small hours. Any more than a one night stay without earplugs and I’d have slept in my car.

The hotel is acceptable, however the double beds are simply too small in width. And it is too bad that the parking is now at a fee, while it used to be for free. Nevertheless it is conveniently placed for our purpose, which is why we chose this hotel.

This is your typical Holiday Inn Express. It's what it says on the tin! However, I prefer these to Prem Inn & definitely better than Travelodge. Gorton has a poor reputation but this property is in an area where new investment is being made. The hotel probably came first. There is also a PureGym, McDonald's & 12 charger Ionity EV hub that accepts contactless card or phone. The hotel seems to have good occupancy levels.The car park has 'daylight bright' lighting which helps to improve security. Pity the evening menu is so restrictive. Finally, excellent staff team who go the extra mile.

Great value stay and within walking distance of bus stop into town. Great that breakfast is included too but items needed topping up regularly as it was busy for Xmas time. Shame you have to pay to park outside but was convenient. Staff were helpful and we’ve stayed a couple times here and it’s always been decent value I’d say.

Easy standard hotel for sleep over only, however with very small double beds. Too high risk to fall off for 2 adults in a double bed. And the parking used to be for free, which it unfortunately no longer is.

AC was not working and it was hot so left the window open for sleep, in the morning very less pressure in the shower so after a reckless sleep no proper shower, lift was also not working and room was on third floor with luggage it was difficult to go up and down, over all very bad stay..

I’ve stayed in many Holiday Inn hotel and hope I don’t need to return to this one. It was a white van man haven. Blokes walking around outside the ‘restaurant’ window with giant bottles of Stella smoking spliffs. Everyone in the ‘restaurant’ ordered in a deliveroo, and I wished I had to after my £1.99 frozen pizza (I paid £16.00) turned up. Only pizza and burger on the ‘menu’ ! There’s also a microwave in reception for the builders to heat up their microwave meal. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a snob, but this place is not for me.

Nice quiet location with few local amenities like restaurant and supermarket at walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the morning staff looking after guests for breakfast The breakfast basic and service was slow had to wait over 20mins for Hashbrowns overall food experience was not good. The room was clean but gave a feelings of dated, When you entered the room there was a distinctive smell of old/dirty carpet same was in the lobby In the room you have an iron/table, hair dryer, tea coffee making facility, table fan and a TV. Bathroom was clean and had toiletries. Overall a good budget hotel which could do with detail cleaning and bit of upgrading

Room was spotless. Bed comfortable, a choice of soft or firm pillow. Shower was great. Breakfast was good. All in all very pleased value for money. It’s a no frills hotel but it did it perfectly.

Breakfast was very easy but the coffee was dreadful - we all expect much better these days i'm afraid. Parking good. Rooms a little old fashioned, but clean. Only 3 plugs and none of them near the bed - we all need to charge our phones. Staff were so friendly, nothing too much trouble.

Friendly staff on reception. Bit of a problem checking in as they couldn't find my booking but dealt with it efficiently. I was on 3rd floor, only one lift that is very slow, and a bit shabby. Very busy hotel so had to wait as it was a full lift.Long walk from lift to my room with bags and case. Rooms a little old and faded but clean , bed quite comfortable. It was a warm day and the room heater was on so a little too hot, luckily a fan was provided. I turned off heater but didn't know how to operate it when it got cold at night. + for temperature didn't seem to work. So maybe some instructions would help. Shower was adequate and plenty hot water. Breakfast was very busy, had to wait for a table. By the time I'd waited in queue for self serve buffet, my coffee was cold. Also as you wait for toast, scrambled eggs go cold. Quality was OK. No white bread available and orange juice empty. It Was a last minute emergency booking so it suited my purpose. Don't know if I'd use it again. Children running up and down corridor playing chase, fire doors slamming. Wasn't good for a rest. Price wise they say budget but I thought it expensive for a budget hotel. But everything is these days.

The welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly. We also ate at the hotel which has a basic menu but ranges from toasties to burgers. The room we were allocated on floor 2 wasnt great. There was a continuous noise which i think comes from a unit outside and this didnt help with sleeping. The breakfast is a hot buffet and was lovely. Just a pity about the continuous noise.

Greeted by a rude member of staff who was really unhelpful as i made an error on my booking. Had to pay for an extra room at £65 which was fine but the receptionist showed no willingness to help bearing in mind this was at 22.30 at night and i arrived with 3 children. It is a shame this person let it down for the rest of his team as the staff working in the morning were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Arrived late at night check in was fine and arranged late check out in afternoon which was fine IHG loyalty arranged . Woke at 10 am cleaners talking loudly and laughing, hoovers banging of walls then the door chapped at 11am to get out of bed. Said they knew nothing about late checkout which was arranged the night before . Too late as I was woken early and was working a Nightshift that night . Disappointed. Stayed here before with no issues .

We had a great time at this hotel. The location is perfect, just off the motorway & not too far from town. Free parking & a complimentary breakfast! The staff were all extremely friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very easy but the coffee was dreadful - we all expect much better these days i'm afraid. Parking good. Rooms a little old fashioned, but clean. Only 3 plugs and none of them near the bed - we all need to charge our phones. Staff were so friendly, nothing too much trouble.

Great check in, friendly staff, we stayed for a concert at the coop live stadium and was only 3 miles away, easy in an uber, room was basic but clean, large tv and choice of channels, included breakfast was very good and very friendly efficient staff, overall a great stay

Great value stay and within walking distance of bus stop into town. Great that breakfast is included too but items needed topping up regularly as it was busy for Xmas time. Shame you have to pay to park outside but was convenient. Staff were helpful and we’ve stayed a couple times here and it’s always been decent value I’d say.

We had a great time at this hotel. The location is perfect, just off the motorway & not too far from town. Free parking & a complimentary breakfast! The staff were all extremely friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

As usual the stay was wonderful! Stayed one night for a concert you attended last night at the Co-op Arena, which isn’t far from the hotel via Uber! The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a great night sleep.

Firstly the staff at this hotel were fantastic, friendly and competent. This hotel in no way, was worth £113.00. I can only think the decimal point was inserted in the wrong place? Amenities were in the genre of basic needs, the £15.85 pizza I ordered was akin to a microwave one. Lots of “long term” scruffy residents and several barking dogs staying. I stay over for work and can’t why similar working trades see the need for a party for 2 in the room until the small hours. Any more than a one night stay without earplugs and I’d have slept in my car.

This is your typical Holiday Inn Express. It's what it says on the tin! However, I prefer these to Prem Inn & definitely better than Travelodge. Gorton has a poor reputation but this property is in an area where new investment is being made. The hotel probably came first. There is also a PureGym, McDonald's & 12 charger Ionity EV hub that accepts contactless card or phone. The hotel seems to have good occupancy levels.The car park has 'daylight bright' lighting which helps to improve security. Pity the evening menu is so restrictive. Finally, excellent staff team who go the extra mile.

Firstly my only problem was the cardboard hash brown. Everything else was spot on room spotless, service from all the staff was friendly and couldnt help enough. Thank you very much for making the stay although short a good experience.

Friendly staff on reception. Bit of a problem checking in as they couldn't find my booking but dealt with it efficiently. I was on 3rd floor, only one lift that is very slow, and a bit shabby. Very busy hotel so had to wait as it was a full lift.Long walk from lift to my room with bags and case. Rooms a little old and faded but clean , bed quite comfortable. It was a warm day and the room heater was on so a little too hot, luckily a fan was provided. I turned off heater but didn't know how to operate it when it got cold at night. + for temperature didn't seem to work. So maybe some instructions would help. Shower was adequate and plenty hot water. Breakfast was very busy, had to wait for a table. By the time I'd waited in queue for self serve buffet, my coffee was cold. Also as you wait for toast, scrambled eggs go cold. Quality was OK. No white bread available and orange juice empty. It Was a last minute emergency booking so it suited my purpose. Don't know if I'd use it again. Children running up and down corridor playing chase, fire doors slamming. Wasn't good for a rest. Price wise they say budget but I thought it expensive for a budget hotel. But everything is these days.

The only real negative is that the breakfast was a let down! There wasn’t much left and wasn’t being replenished, no milk or orange juice, the sausages were like they’d be cooked days before and then reheated they tasted like cardboard!! Every time there was a hint of a hash brown people would take so many that they would all be gone again!! I chose this hotel as it offered breakfast and it meant we didn’t have to look for somewhere to eat with two young children early in the morning.

I’ve stayed in many Holiday Inn hotel and hope I don’t need to return to this one. It was a white van man haven. Blokes walking around outside the ‘restaurant’ window with giant bottles of Stella smoking spliffs. Everyone in the ‘restaurant’ ordered in a deliveroo, and I wished I had to after my £1.99 frozen pizza (I paid £16.00) turned up. Only pizza and burger on the ‘menu’ ! There’s also a microwave in reception for the builders to heat up their microwave meal. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a snob, but this place is not for me.

Vi bodde här sista natten innan hemfärd för att kunna ta oss enkelt till flygplatsen med hyrbilen. För det är det perfekt. Parkeringen är gratis och det går flera busslinjer till Piccadilly Gardens. Bredvid hotellet ligger en park som är väl värd en promenad. Rummet vi hade saknade luftkonditionering men det fanns en fläkt som vi hade igång under natten eftersom det var varmt ute. Frukosten kunde vara bättre med var ändå helt OK med det som brukar ingå i England. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam! Väldigt bra för priset!

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Parking is a plus. The hotel is in a quiet area and thus it is comfortable. on the other hand, you need to drive to get food and dinner because there is only a Macdonell next to the hotel. If you don't like burger, you need to try somewhere else.
