City Edge East Melbourne Apartment Hotel

Great location, comfortable bed. Don’t expect luxury accommodation though. Very dated with peeling paint, power boards and extension cords everywhere. Prices are good. You get what you pay for.

Location and cost were very good. Quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to shops in Richmond, the MCG and public transport. Apartment was a good size and bed comfortable. Negatives were the very dated and uncomfortable couch, dirty window ledge in the bathroom (covered in loose dirt) limited toiletries. Overall I would stay again as the location is great.

Room was dirty, had to clean the bath before I could enjoy it, glasses in cupboard were filthy. Photos on website did not match up with the photos in reality

Pretty hard to get through to after hours, but once through, the staff were very easy to deal with. The apartment was huge!! Bed was a little hard, but might just have been me.

The room was not clean, there was mould in the shower. It was advertised with aircon. There was no aircon in the main area and the only air-conditioning was in 1 bedroom which didnt work and only curculated hot air. It was over 40 degrees that weekend and made for a very uncomfortable stay. The fridge worked sparodically and continuously stopped. The bedding on the single beds was still wrapped in plastic which was also uncomfortable and annoying. When issues were reported to reception we were given a pretty much not my problem attitude.
