Im giving this place 2 stars, The Check-In was a breeze staff was friendly and clear with instructions i asked of i could have car valet as an addition definitely wouldnt recommend especially if you have a modified vehicle with big wheels. Night 1 was amazing Night 2 great asked for ice and it was brought to the room immediately. Check-Out this is where it goes from 5 to 2 stars. Early in the morning i could hear my car being moved around multiple times along with the wheels losing traction a few times.. If you're wondering how i know its my car its because its a v8 and loud and i just know my car. On check out i advised from desk that i was checking out and i requested my car giving them the tag i was given on Friday night while waiting i wasnt really told where to wait or what to do after. I waited and seen someone holding my keys so assumed they were going to get it and followed them to the pick up point another car was being picked up by another Check out residentee. I was asked what was i waiting for and i advised that i was waiting on my car told the woman that the keys in her hand were for my car in which she went and got my car.. Car was dropped off i got in and moved my car to the side while i looked for directions out of the city.. while waiting the woman come running up to my car telling me to get out of my car telling me it wasnt my car she had taken the keys off of me accusing me lying.

Best location, especially if shopping or going to the theatre, fabulous and friendly staff. Great room. Heads up - book table at roof top bar Blossum. Great bar but couldn’t stay for dinner or drinks as no room available. Otherwise love love love this hotel. Everything you need.

Right in the heart of the city. Had three lifts to get people upstairs quickly. 24 hour front desk. Front doors closed and needed the room key to enter so this was great for security. Downstairs eatery for breakfast and rooftop bar and eatery where both excellent.

We loved the central location - great for access to transport and shops / restaurants. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated the provision of a water dispenser on each floor. The lobby decor scheme was an absolute eyesore and gave an awful first impression and the decor throughout was harsh and unattractive. In fact the hotel was much more comfortable than it appeared at first.

Central spot. Walked everywhere! Breakfast was tasty but the service was so slow we learnt to order before we sat down to our table. Gym needs a little more. Maybe just a rowing machine would be better. No moisturiser offered in the bathrooms. I think for the price a little more luxury’s shoujd be available. Even just complimentary water would be a start. Bathrooms were so small and the water leaked from shower so it was a very wet floor when you got out and 1 bath mat wasn’t going to do it. Our room never was cleaned and we had to ask a few times. There was major construction with loud drilling at 7am and we were never warned about. Good location and nice gym but no slippers either which is strange as robes were provided.

Very convenient right in the centre of the city. Staff on the floor are usually nice, especially Ben the Bell Captain- we appreciate his very calm demeanour on handling our luggage for storage on the check out day. Replenishment for amenities in the room is not always consistent. Over a 5 night stay, we had one day with a pillow missing, 2 days with no new cotton buds, and they did not give us a new toilet paper roll or cotton pad for day 3-5. Overall, a nice stay, however service can be a hit and miss.

Convenient central location, with clean rooms and good service overall. Depending on your room location you might get stuck looking out onto a dark alleyway. Lighting in general was an issue during my stay. Recommended for business trips, but I wouldn't stay here if I was on vacation. Key card stopped working on last day, 2 hours prior to checkout time. This was quickly resolved by front desk.

Property is situated in a great location on Swanston street, very close to public transport, Melbourne Central and Emporium. The rooms are nicely renovated and modern with a great bathroom. Only complaint would be that the water pressure is slightly weak in the shower. Would happily stay here again.

Can’t get any more at the heart of Melbourne CBD than at the Pullman. Such a convenient location, rooms were nice and spacious, clean and still very new. Bedding was very comfortable and views were great. Had a corner room on the 13th level and was very nice.

We stayed in a twin room which was spacious and very clean. Amenities were decent, but did not match the price of the room. Basics are provided, and it was nice to have a nespresso coffee machine in the room, however, there was no milk frother or method to heat the milk to make a decent coffee. There was some delay in checking-in, waiting in line to be served as there are only two attendants available. Once checked in we were sent to our room, on opening the door we saw other guests belongings in the room. We had to go back to reception, wait in line again, and were issued a new room. We were located on the 7th floor which was quite noisy, the windows dont appear to be glazed or sealed appropriately. There was constant noise from the street and the plant/equipment on the surrounding buildings, including during the night.

Location, transport and room fitout/cleanliness was good. One significant issue was the lack of sound insulation. On 3 of 5 nights my neighbouring room conversations, television etc was so clear and loud it was like they were in the same room. Means lack of privacy, and very disrupted sleep as neighbours chatted into the early hours of the morning, not too loud, just no sound barrier. Have not had such experience for some time in 5star hotel.

The AC thermostat was hard to follow and was not cooling well. Seems like it was electronically locked to 23 C and was not cooling to 19C as required in the summer heat. WiFi was also flaky and not reliable. Had to use my data plan

Valet parking left my car on all night & flattened my battery. Staff said they were unable to find the ‘duty manager’ to rectify the issue when I requested to escalate. None of the phone numbers work and there appears to be no way to contact the hotel once I had left the physical premises. very poor. Avoid this hotel.

The hotel staff seem very disorganised and poorly managed as they weren’t able to check me in upon entry at 2pm (check in is at 2pm). I waited in the foyer for an hour and half to be checked in, with staff asking me to approach the front desk each half an hour to see if the room was ready. Noting I had to stand in extended queues 4 times with two little children just to be told my room wasn’t ready yet. Finally when the room was ready, I got told they would bring my bags up to the room. I had to chase them up half an hour afterwards just to get my bags. When calling the concierge during my stay I noticed the phone was unattended and took multiple attempts to get a response. The restaurant seemed under staffed and the staff on seemed flustered and rushed to get patrons served with little to no service quality at breakfast time.

Fantastic staff, very convenient to central Melbourne, walkable to everything. Staff were incredible, particularly Sophie on the front desk and the breakfast staff who went out of their way to make it enjoyable and helpful.

Would have given this stay an excellent, however there was an issue on check-in, reservations could not be found, which was eventually resolved. Checkout was worse, the lady didn't even say hello, or asked how our stay was. She was overall unfriendly. Otherwise the amenities themselves were great, and we really enjoyed our delicious breakfast.

This was such an amazing spot. When you walk out the front door you are in front of the Bourke Streel Mall stop in the Free Zone tram area. You can get anywhere in Melbourne from here. China town is around the corner and The Mall is right next door by the entrance with the “red carpet” which is where Uber will drop you off. I highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to the tram, the shopping and food.

Great location in the centre of the city. Tucked behind the Mercure. Right next to the bustling Chinatown district or turn the other way and you’re right next to the Emporium shopping. Quiet, clean hotel. Definitely be back

We had a lovely stay at pullmans, would highly recommend. Breakfast was super yummy. Rooms were lovely and clean. Amazing location, walking distance to everything in the city. 24hour check in and were more than accommodating to leave our bags there after checkout for a few hours while we continued exploring until we heading to airport. Absolutely loved our stay here. Will hopefully be back.
