Great hotel. Be aware the pool is very much for exercise, not for leisurely swimming as members like to swim laps. I’d have expected a more extensive in room dining menu as well, especially lacking on vegetarian options. Great hotel, great staff, fun area in walking distance!

Beautiful hotel. Very large rooms with the comfiest beds and quality linen. Lots of enjoyable extras like large bathtub (with tv in the bathroom). Good gym, lovely swimming pool with a view. Amazing buffet breakfast. Can't wait to stay again!

The pool and sauna were great, as were the staff in that area. Room service was also great- compliments to the chef and delivery team. Check in experience was not great. I arrived at 4.30 pm to be told that my room wasn’t ready, and I should have a free drink at the lounge whilst I waited. I did not feel like a drink but had one anyway only to discover they were upselling olives by the bowl etc. Then I was told I had been given a special room with a balcony. Turned out the balcony was tiny and right up against the wall of the adjoining building. So, no view, boxed in and no natural light in the room. I managed to change rooms. The rooms themselves were ok in terms of furnishings. The LeLabo soaps and shampoos were a nice touch.

Very nice hotel. On the high end, not for average Joe…. The only reason I had chosen it was because I thought the Indian and Australian cricket teams would be staying there, but they were not…. Paid good money but did not get what I had hoped for ( my wrong presumption)…. Sofa bed was not good for my adult son…. Valet parking was $70.00 per night… so word to the wise, if you are not rich, it is not your place….

Although they didn't read my pre-stay requests, they pleasantly fixed all for us; one of the requests was to have a garden view, and they changed the room for us without a fuss. The 25m-pool/saunas/gym area is beautiful and comfortable. Loved the clean feeling. The entrance staff was also nice and helpful. We would love to come back.

Absolutely impeccable stay. Lovely ample rooms that were perfect for our little baby. Beautiful facilities for the conference I attended. The service was flawless and exceeded expectations - every amenity at your disposal and I was even given a garment steamer on request!

I always love staying here. Helena at the spa was absolutely delightful and went out of her way to be helpful and kind, which was very good of her as I had a little tantrum when I found out the pool had closed at 8pm (sorry Helena). She was super nice that nice and the next day despite my petulance. All staff were great. Our room was sublime. We live in Melbourne but this hotel offers a staycation that really feels like a holiday.

The service provided by all the staff at the Park Hyatt was incredible. Everyone was friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. The room we stayed in was amazing, clean, spacious, classy interior and had a great view of the city. We were very lucky to have such a wonderful experience. We definitely be back!

Room wasn’t ready at 3pm check in, reception desk tried to charge us again for accomodation we had already paid for even though we showed them proof of payment, upon finally getting into our room it was noted the room had not been properly serviced! Significantly - our desk chair appeared to have a blood stain on the seat- reception were notified immediately, we waited over half an hour before walking to reception ourselves and speaking to the hotel manager, the lovely lady who urgently came to our room to clean it bought sheets with the message to clean soiled sheets not the seat! The seat was cleaned, but then we were left with a wet seat that couldn’t then be used. The cups in the bedroom had paper coasters but noted not in the bathroom. Maybe it’s not a done thing anymore but the toilet did not have a paper clean seal over it, which makes me wonder if it was cleaned at all. Then I ran a lovely bath and went to turn on the tv and couldn’t find the remote control… no where to be seen! Rang reception, apparently they’ve been removed from all the bathrooms whilst the networks are getting servicing. I won’t bring up dinner. 5 star hotel, 2 star experience. So disappointed. Will never go back again!!!!

An excellent room on Floor 19 which was clean and quiet. Plenty of room and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. However, the Gold Star goes to the team working the breakfast shifts. Christmas Day and Boxing Day were extremely busy, but the staff kept the machine working super efficiently. Add to this the quality of the food and you have a great experience. We travel extensively and this hotel is among the best we have ever stayed at in this price range.

Amazing stay in a gorgeous property. The Park Hyatt looked exactly like the images shown when booking. It is clean, comfortable, and has great facilities. The staff were impeccable, so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was so clean and we had so much space (we booked a King room). The blockout blinds were so good for sleep in mornings, and the room itself was very quiet. Great water pressure in the shower, too. Our only criticisms are; the bed was not really comfortable as every little movement from the other person could be felt, so I woke up every time my partner shifted in their sleep, there was not a lot of shelf/drawer space in the huge wardrobe so we ran out of places to unpack things like underwear and shorts that didn't need to be hung up, and it would be great to have a few more hooks in the bathroom to hand toiletries bags, the hand towel, and hooks or rails closer to the shower for towels. Otherwise the hotel lived up to its 5 stars and we are already planning our next stay. The location was also perfect, far enough from the CBD to really feel like we could unwind, but close enough to walk into town. It is also close to stunning parklands and the Museum was a short 15 minute walk away.

Our only criticisms are; the bed was not really comfortable as every little movement from the other person could be felt, so I woke up every time my partner shifted in their sleep, there was not a lot of shelf/drawer space in the huge wardrobe so we ran out of places to unpack things like underwear and shorts that didn't need to be hung up, and it would be great to have a few more hooks in the bathroom to hand toiletries bags, the hand towel, and hooks or rails closer to the shower for towels. Otherwise the hotel lived up to its 5 stars and we are already planning our next stay. The location was also perfect, far enough from the CBD to really feel like we could unwind, but close enough to walk into town. It is also close to stunning parklands and the Museum was a short 15 minute walk away.

The Park Hyatt has a great location. You can either walk to many places or take the free downtown tram. Our Corner suite was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The food we ordered from Room Service was mediocre. Other than that, I would highly recommend the hotel. I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day ahead of time, and the concierge was amazing and very prompt in responding to my concerns.

We have been a keen member of this hotel chain and loved every bit of our past stays. This time was different; While in the female change/sauna room, a male technician came in and began his work on a broken steam sauna. No warning, no previous notice, just a sign post that he brought in, saying “male staff at work”. The man left after I almost screamed to do so. Complained to the reception staff, who said “don’t know why the steam sauna didn’t have a closed sign”, clearly not understanding the layout of the change room or the distress it caused in us. The reception staff wrote back, instead of coming face to face, with a very small portion of refund. No phone call, no apology from the management since then. I would have loved to go back there but extremely scared of doing so. Please everyone be careful.

Waited an hour and a half for our room to be ready , our bed didn’t have sheets only a doona, and the room service breakfast was very average , also took full room deposit on card instead of the $100 and was made to pay in full ontop of that holding over $500 on card for a week! Will not be returning!

The pool and sauna were great, as were the staff in that area. Room service was also great- compliments to the chef and delivery team. Check in experience was not great. I arrived at 4.30 pm to be told that my room wasn’t ready, and I should have a free drink at the lounge whilst I waited. I did not feel like a drink but had one anyway only to discover they were upselling olives by the bowl etc. Then I was told I had been given a special room with a balcony. Turned out the balcony was tiny and right up against the wall of the adjoining building. So, no view, boxed in and no natural light in the room. I managed to change rooms. The rooms themselves were ok in terms of furnishings. The LeLabo soaps and shampoos were a nice touch.

Great location within a short walk to the top of the city. Beautiful hotel, great size bath in the king room. Breakfast was fantastic too with so many choices. We had a slight disappointment with our room being double booked, we were offered another room and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Olivia at front desk made our check in so fast and we really appreciate it since we were extremely tired. After 6 days and 5 nights at Melbourne and we had a blast. It is a luxury hotel no doubt but its staff placing it in much higher rank. Room service gets 10 star. Doormen get 10 stars i just remember two names Tobi and Nathan and from the restaurant Nicolas. My wife and I loved our stay at Park Hyatt. It is a convenient location out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main city however only a short walk. MCG is only a 10 minute walk and it is very close to many cool cafes and restaurants. Staff were amazing and special mention to the breakfast chef who took the time to greet all guests. Would definitely come back

What a disappointment, I’ve stayed at the grand and park and the park Hyatt staff can take a few lessons from the grand Hyatt. Service was terrible, waited an hour and a half for room service breakfast, restaurant isn’t open on sundays and Monday and the staff couldn’t be bothered dealing with you. I won’t be staying here again, I’ll stick to the grand Hyatt.
