Such a clean hotel and of all the hotel beds we have slept in around the world- this bed was up there for comfort. The Atrium bar offered amazing drinks and the views from the rooms were second to none! The breakfast was a little let down- service was amazing- the omelets was undercook and the premade ones freezing cold, other than that we had no complaints.

I think that this hotel has the greatest location with services including turndown. There is nothing to complain. I would like to list some points that i was not satisfied. 1. Valet parking fee applied daily is high. 2. Breakfast quality. They have great food, but the variety of the food served was not satisfied.

There is no pool!!! And this might be standard now but there’s a $10 delivery fee for room service. The actual hotel is Lux - big lobby etc and bed comfy. All the minibar items have tags so you can’t drink them and replace with the same item. The staff were lovely and view great. Breakfast delicious too

No pool in a 5 star hotel was a bit surprising. They should clearly mention that in the ad. You can use the one at Novotel but it’s a hassle to ring the reception to book it and then use the pool 2-3 blocks away.

Service was excellent- reception, bar at 35th floor & concierge. Just a bit concerned with the cleaning in the bathroom. The soap wrap & some hair from our morning use was still there in the afternoon. Not so keen on the glass wall that separates the room & the shower also showing yourself while you are having your morning rituals. Lol!

Room service repeatedly could not take my breakfast order because they were "delivering other orders", so not staffed appropriately on horse race weekend. Called and asked for water to be delivered at night, never came. Room mini-bar was not restocked for three days after we asked 4 separate times. How can we be billed appropriately as a result? One day we came back and the room had been cleaned except the entire bathroom. Used towels on the floor, no product replenished, etc. My face cream was opened (not be me) and left in a different room leading me to assume staff used it. To top it off, got takeout because room service couldn't serve us and went to the restaurant on floor 35 to ask for utensils. Was told to "bring them back" to the restaurant after I was done. Room and view were nice, service was very poor.

Professional and attentive staff, impeccably clean hotel, gorgeous lobby. Pillow menu’s, and all the in-room services added to the delightful experience. The views from our room were divine, best part was sitting in bed with morning coffee watching the world go by. Almost everything was perfect and we wanted one more night. The small issues we had: one French door blind kept coming open and letting the morning light in so we were awake very early. Our room-service breakfast was stone-cold, even the coffee, and not possible to enjoy. At $100, we expect a hot brekky to be just that. Why not cover the meals to keep them warm? And lastly, the music pumping all night from god-knows-where was still going after 2am and we could hear the bass through ear plugs. Despite the issues, we would stay again, with a few tweaks. Well done to the staff, excellent service.

Great location, tram stop was right outside the hotel. Area was clean and felt safe. Staff were friendly and helpful from check in through to check out. A hotel staff went out of the way to gift a small gift to my boy after he complimented the hotel. Room was clean, had great view of the city and super comfortable for my 6 nights. One point to note - I had to call guest service everyday to ask for water as it wasn’t replenished during housekeeping. Other than this, the stay was perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Sofitel. Our room was on level 50 with spectacular river views. It was all we could have asked for, very comfortable bed and pillows, and quite spacious. Staff were very helpful, we arrived a little early but our room was ready for us so check in was quick and easy. We enjoyed a drink after dinner on level 35, service was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent with plenty to choose from. One small blemish - the water pressure in the bathroom wasn’t great and it was tricky getting the shower water temperature just right with no mixer. Otherwise 10/10, thank you Sofitel for a great stay.

Unfortunately the hotel is very dated compared to the pictures, our room was noisy even though it says sound proofed. We could here to room next door moving coat hangers in the wardrobes and slamming doors. Too expensive for an out dated hotel

I cannot give enough stars to this hotel and the friendliness, courtesy, and helpfulness of every member of the staff. The room was excellent and had a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. Room was quiet. The food and service at the restaurant was top notch. The location is good for access to public transportation and walking the CBD. I can’t overstate how great the staff was which made our stay perfect.

Having stayed at Sofitel hotels in a few countries this one is up there at the top we were upgraded to the 49th floor which rounded off the experience 100%. One minor negative is on both mornings the hot food at breakfast was on the cold side

Amazing although I wish the front desk had asked if I wanted to eat at restaurant as all was booked when I wanted to go. I did dinner in room instead so that I could enjoy the view. Breakfast was incredible!

Excellent hotel! Service and concierge team were very accommodating and attentive. Breakfast buffet was good although options were slightly limited. The hot water pressure could be improved, we found it difficult to adjust the water to the right temperature.

Elegant decor, immaculate service, great food during our conference and the buffet breakfast was excellent as well. Soft sensor light coming on when entering the bathroom is a nice touch, free bottle of sparkling wine day of check in was a nice surprise
