Great location, nice spa and pool area. It would have been nice to have a larger bed, I think ours was a queen. We are both small people and it felt a bit small for us. Also, would love a milk frother to go with the Nespresso pod machine as our coffee was like warm as we couldn't warm the milk. Overall, we had a great stay and would choose to stay here again.

The Property in itself is great, excellent facilities. its located in a good spot all depends on what you are looking to see overall. Main issue which would have left a lot of people upset is that there was only one lift working which meant there were delays in exiting your level (up to 30 minutes) and no alternative exit plan offered. There were people setting off fire exits at all hours of the day in frustration of wanting to make their way out. it supposed to have been a relaxing stay however it was overshadowed with thoughts of having to go through this inconvenience in for the duration of our time at the Stamford.

Extra Large area with kitchenette and separate lounge area. Lovely pool and spa, good gym. Very nice reception and concierge staff. Oddly the kitchen had no cooking equipment although there was a hotplate. Full size fridge was good and microwave.

All round it was great . The staff are so friendly . Just a shame the sauna has been closed until further notice . Still advertised as having a sauna with the pool and hot tub.

Always a lovely place to stay. Good to have concierge service again after Covid. Only gripe is the Harry’s bar never seems to be open very late, so you have to go down the street to Vic’s bar

Staff are friendly and professional, The hotel in general feels very outdated and the breakfast restaurant resembled a food court. The room was comfortable and plenty of space but the bathroom felt very pokey. The parking is available off-site and only a 5 minute walk. Location of this hotel is best, very easy to walk around the city.

Had a great stay. Easy to get anywhere in city since close to tram. Dinning close and tasty. Pool was too cold this time thou. Spa was good. Room perfect and comfortable.

For a 5 star hotel I was extremely disappointed the cleanliness of the room was absolutely awful mould in the bathroom filthy windows cracks in the bath and also in the hand sink. Widows were disgusting like they haven’t been clean in so long. The little outdoor area was filthy could not even get close as you will get dirt and spider webs clearly visible. Below are just a few examples.

Good morning, the photo is supposed to show a large tub but in reality it was small. 1. The first day they did not clean the bathtub and shower, it was full of hair and salts that had been used the day before. 2. The last day I went to the whirlpool I cut my finger because they have some loose tiles. If you sit in front of the TV I had my hands holding onto my hips and then I felt that there was something and I felt around with my hand and cut my finger because that whirlpool is missing a tile.

Very old fixtures through the building, bathrooms need upgrading, not really worth the money you pay per night. Breakfast area needs a good clean, you can’t charge $36 and serve slops

Quiet location however rooms are dated and in need of maintenance/renovation. Bed was comfortable however there is no real view from any windows. Breakfast was the usual options for a buffet and staff were friendly. While I included breakfast with my booking I didn’t think it was worth the approximate $30 per day for a solo traveller.

Reception is in a different building to the accommodation and dining. Please get rid of those revolving doors! So inconvenient and a real hassle - automatic opening doors would be way simpler for people trying to move luggage and other bags. Great elevators. Rooms aren't sound proof - you can hear what is going on next door and in the hallway. Bathroom was really inconveniently small and poorly designed if there are two people staying in the room.

I had an amazing stay at The Stamford Plaza Melbourne, which is always my top choice whenever I visit the city. The hotel's location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Melbourne, with everything you need just a short walk away. Public transport is also easily accessible, making it convenient to get around. I stayed in the King Suite, and it was fantastic! A great location from which to explore Melbourne’s many bars, cafes, restaurants & shops. While the staff are lovely, the hotel itself is tired & dated & most of the rooms don’t offer much of a view or natural light out of the tiny window.

Room only had one chair for sitting at table. Was very noisy as you hear all the doors banging due to the circular layout. Tv opposite bed so not really viewable from couch. Shower in bath so awkward for oldies. Great pool and spa and otherwise comfy with individual aircon

The service of the staff at Little Collins Street Stamford was exceptional. This hotel has maintained its class edge over many hotels in the city. It was memorable for the service and comfort. Fabian the concierge would remember names of guests and provided helpful information on the city. He was passionate about his job when i say job i should say profession. He coukd be running a training program for hotels on guest management. His enthusiasm was felt in the foyer. All of your staff where all immaculate in their appearance. Thanks for the stay !

The property is fine. Rooms are spacious. The location is great. Check in process could be improved. I am a regular guest and there is usually a wait to check in, no matter the time of day. Husband and I stayed two nights for the NBA/ NBL. Perfect location for what we needed, where we needed to be. Trams on Collins and 2 minute walk down to trams for Rod Laver Arena. Bourke Street Mall not too far either, location was excellent. Service was great, staff very friendly. For us, the room was perfect. We had bedroom suite, exactly the space we needed. Would definitely staycation here again.

Comfy bed and lounge. Two TVs level 15 King suite. Love one to watch in bed. Nice spacious breakfast area and good food. Harry's happy hour very nice to sit and $8 drinks..nice food too. ..piano area nice area to sit with relaxed music. Bit of a walk to southbank but near plenty of shops and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel with old fashioned service. Close to shops, theatres, restaurants and public transport. Ideal location for a trip to Melbourne. We dined at the in house restaurant the first night and the steak was terrible which was really disappointing when I'd paid $48 plus an extra $10 for vegetables.

From the first moment, service was friendly and efficient. Check-in was seamless. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. The sink was separate to the bathroom, with no door to the sink area. Breakfast was great. Evening meals were very good, although there was a hiccup with our dessert (mudcake) coming 3/4 frozen after a long period of time. The bar staff were tardy in coming to customers waiting to be seated. All in all a great place and we would come again.
