I have 4* for property condition only because the property is currently under renovation. The beds could be more comfortable though.

Schöner Pool, aber keine Poolbar. Kein Bademantel, kein Föhn im Zimmer. Zimmereinrichtung alt und etwas abgewohnt. Gut; Kühlschrank im Zimmer, der auch wirklich kühlt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstück.

This has always been my goto hotel in South Mumbai. Quiet, convenient, great service and pleasant rooms. The Niumad (sp?) at the Business Centre was extremely helpful with our need for shipping and packaging of stuff. Till next time. Albeit, some confusion as i has settled full bill the night before, early morning i was asked to settle for an additional breakfast which they had seemed to has an error in their system. I refuses to pay as all bills were settled. Their error. A bit surprising.

Fantastic hotel with great facilities. Staff are very polite and accommodating.

Everything good except the pool was closed. I used the pool at the sister hotel but it's not as relaxing as just wandering down to the pool...

The President, Mumbai IHCL Seleqtions is a beautiful hotel with a friendly, professional staff. Our room was lovely and immaculate, but a little dated. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We enjoyed evening dining in two of the restaurants and had cocktails in the bar. It is an easy walk to markets and to the Gate of India, but the airport is over an hour away. Even so, I highly recommend this hotel.

Especially the staff makes this hotel unique. The employees are very kind and such helpful guys. Each of them is friendly but also open for a little chat. Unfortunately our first room was smelling really badly, but the receptionist reacted perfectly and gave us directly a new room which was without any problems. We tried two of the three restaurants as well as the in-house bar. The Thai restaurant was absolutely fantastic and so was the Konan Cafe (Indian restaurant). Another highlight was the continental but especially the Indian breakfast. This was one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. All of the waitresses and waiters were very professional and such nice people, thanks to all of them! Bach tho the Hotel: outside it’s not the prettiest but it completely changes when you walk in. The lobby area is such a lovely place and it even smells lovely. Our final room was quite comfortable and clean. At the moment there is some construction work infront of the building (new metro directliy to the airport which will be a real game changer!) the noise is not really noticeable. Not because of the good isolation of the building but because of all the other noises of Mumbai. The SPA and pool area is a little bit dated in comparison of the other public areas but an old pool is much better than no pool in Mumbai. So that would be my only complains I guess. Overall we loved our stay so much that we decided to book another IHCL hotel at our next destination in Munnar.

Terrible experience at this hotel. We had booked a premium sea-view room expecting a quality stay, but nothing about the room or service felt premium. When we arrived late at night, we were not welcomed with drinks or water, which is standard for ICHL hotels. Our original room, 1715, had a bathroom door that hit the toilet and barely opened. The space was small, basic, and certainly not worth 300 CAD. It did not reflect the ICHL brand at all.After complaining, we were moved to another room on the same floor, essentially identical except for the bathroom issue. There was no apology, no assistance with our bags, and definitely no 5-star service. We requested a second key and never received it. Several plugs didn’t work and the bathroom glass cups were stained.At breakfast, when my mother Neetu asked for tea, the server told me to get it myself, even though I saw other servers bringing tea and coffee to guests. Many food items were cold, and fresh pao took over 20 minutes.At checkout, I spoke with the Manager on Duty, Alapan, who apologized, assured me he would address the issues, and offered compensation. We agreed on a complimentary ride and use of the lobby later in the day.When we returned, everything was fine until a staff member named Sonum approached me for leaning on my mother, telling me to “sit up straight,” even though a man nearby had his bare feet up on the table. When I asked for her name, she laughed with colleagues and offered no apology. We will not be returning

The hotel is very old, but it is very clean and it is in a very good conditions look like new. Room is clean. very good size bed is comfortable a lot of things to do around the area in walking distant 5 to 10 minutes. You can be in the middle of everything.

There was a cockroach in my room. They promised to change my room while i was out in the day time but when I came late in the night my room was not changed. The service was horrible too.

The only place i stay when in Mumbai, and in the South. Last time was 9 years ago and i was a one week per month regular for 3 years. Excellent location. Great service. Home from Home. Room slightly dated.

The room, service and location were all good. My only real knock was, I was on the 6th floor and when they had a wedding in the banquet halls, it was so loud, it could've been on the next room. Also, phone in the bathroom.

Ok stay. The rooms were little tight. Italian restaurant is ok but good pasta for veg.

Good location, close to a lot of touristy places. Hotel was in great condition. Felt like form was prioritized over function in a few areas (ex: Bathroom faucets, power switches next to the bed, etc) You need an international power adapter if travelling from overseas.

The staff were the best I have ever come across. They were friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the food was delicious.

This is a step below other 4-star options in Mumbai. I was offered an early check-in but even though I asked twice about what kind of bed was in the room they still tried to give me a room with 2 twin beds. Quite unhappy about the extra slog to reception; not fun when you are tired. I stayed in two different rooms on two stays a few days apart. The 15th floor room was much nicer than the 11th floor, my guess is that they still cheaped out where they could.

Everything Perfect except bed sheets need renewed

The hotel is old and many rooms are so small you cannot even open a suitcase. I would not recommend this hotel. The bathrooms are horrible.

Excellent service!

The stay didn't get off to a promising start. Two e-mails to the hotel's Reservations Dept went answered so i had to book the hotel through Hotels.com. I didn't get offered a drink while I was waiting to check in. On the plus side, the senior managers, Alapan and Prasad, were courteous and helpful and they're both a credit to the hotel. The rooms were comfortable as usual and the food was of a high standard. Rajshree at Tratorria continues to bright one's morning with her cheerful demeanour. Bellboys and concierge were very helpful.

Having stayed at Taj properties many times, we were slightly disappointed for not having our room ready upon arrival even though check in is 2pm. We had to wait nearly an hour or so. Being such a caliber of hotel, we would not expect this. For breakfast as well there was an influx of people and we had to sit outisde. I believe the staff is friendly but service in my eyes was not to par. I have stayed at many of your properties and would expect nothing but excellence in Mumbai as well

The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful! The manager of the front office was very caring and even ordered a special beverage to help sooth my upset stomach! Everything about this hotel was excellent!

Great breakfast buffet options alongside request for freshly made breakfast items, masala omelette was my go to! Excellent team of staff from the front of house security, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff; a really well oiled machine and pleasant experience all round.

At check in, I was sitting with the front office staf, for my checkin. The front off of Enstar, was processing my document, chit chatting on the phone and also attending to other clients. 28 minutes after this I decided to cancel the reservation and move to another property. The most discourteous, disrespectful and disorganized hotel staff I have ever seen in my 42 days stay I different Taj properties in 2023. When I highlighted the issue with the duty manager they started providing excuses and did nothing to address the situation

Lovely place for sewing Mumbai, conveniently located to many popular and beautiful tourist spots. Hotel, rooms, staff everything is exceptional

Overall hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, area surrounding the property was not clean. Restaurants were limited as the property was in residential area.

Exellent beds and room. Spacious room. All the staff were so helpful, service minded and kind and we felt so warmly welcomed and taken care of. First time in Mumbai and we felt so safe. We loved the location, uber and taxi came in 2 min and took us whenever we wanted to go. The breakfast was fantastic and the atmosphere there was so nice with helpful staff. Safe location and area, close to restaurants, cafés and important land marks. We would on the warmest recommend staying at President.

Had a wonderful short stay at The President in Colaba. The hotel was beautiful and stylish, though slightly more dated than some of its peers (Taj, Trident, etc.). Had an upscale luxury feel to it, but with nice splashes or Indian culture and aesthetics. Room service was excellent. I was a bit disappointed with the surroundings— lots of construction so I didn’t the feel that I was hoping for, especially being so close to the sea and to the historic Colaba area. But that’s not the hotel’s fault. Overall, a great stay and I’d highly recommend The President

Very friendly staff. Some confusion for uber and private drivers due to construction of Metro nearby, but that is due to be completed soon.

Comfortable hotel; good buffet. But the hotel is off- center and pretty far from everything.

Location wise it is almost at the southern tip of Mumbai, at about 20 min brisk walk to Marine Drive.

Staff was extremely courteous. Since my stay included breakfast, this hotel serves the best breakfast spread and the serving staff is very responsive as well. The only downside to this hotel is that the rooms don't have closet space so no matter how many number of nights you are staying with them, you have to live out of your suitcase, which is not my style - and for those who don't care about this - I would highly recommend this hotel.
