A haven of peace and quiet in a bustling City ! Stand out feature are the 11 acres of gardens and a well designed pool. Rooms overlooking pool are strongly recommended - high floor as always. Pool area at this hotel is well designed - no noise or excessive child activity / noise .

I stayed for almost a week here. Property is large and well maintained. Room is quiet. Staff is what made all the difference though. Lokesh, Illy, Chand et al were always attentive. Even when they didn’t get something right first time, they were willing to redo it. Breakfast was delicious. I used the gym which had new equipment. I will stay here again. If I were to nitpick, WiFi was weak inside room, restaurant ushers were too stubborn in meeting my request for a window table (even though one was always available and I have a phobia), elevator key card reader was faulty. Everything else was excellent.

The royal club is great and the manager on on 8th floor is simply outstanding and leaves no stone unturned to resolve any issue guest may have. He is the best and makes all the difference and one of the main reason I keep going to the Leela mumbai

I had a wonderful stay at The Leela in Mumbai. The service was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the entire hotel felt clean, fresh, and very well-maintained. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping the room spotless every day. The only slight downside was that the leadership among the breakfast buffet staff could have been more organized. Overall, I still highly recommend the hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very good location for the airport. It is however style over substance. Our VIP amenity caused so much trouble - each time we wanted to use our discount we had to go to reception and they had to work it out manually. This was the last night of our holiday and it meant we spent half of it queuing at reception. However it was the room which was really poor. We did not notice until we went to bed but some one had obviously vomited all over the wall next to the bed and it had not been clean properly. There were splashes all over the wall. The toilet lid also had splashed all over it - disgusting! The phone didn’t work and so we couldn’t call reception. As we had got ready for bed we couldn’t face going back to reception so had to live with it!!! Avoid this hotel

Great staff but hotel room smelled bad, apparently this is the AC. We had to have the AC on because the weather was very hot. The bed sheets were damp the whole time but this is probably due to monsoon season, they have us a dehumidifier when I requested one which didn’t really help. The breakfast was very nice. The pool was very nice but you cannot order food or drinks to enjoy by the pool, you have to go back inside and inside there are lots of people having business meetings so you don’t want to set wearing poop side clothes.

My flight arrived very late, it was almost midnight when I arrived at the hotel. the front desk staff is very friendly. Checked me in very quickly. The room was incredibly clean and classy. The bed has a sun-kissed feel and is very warm and comfortable. This is definitely the most comfortable and cleanest hotel and room I have ever stayed in in India.

The Leela is a beautiful contemporary hotel near the airport… a ten minute drive from the International terminal. The bathrooms are small but nicely designed and finished. Everything in the room was in perfect condition and very clean…very comfortable. The breakfast buffet, casual dining and room service were all delicious and fast. The large, tropical-style pool is great for relaxation. On the downside, the hotel is isolated in a redeveloping area with nothing within walking distance. And be aware that the hotel food services are overpriced, while service was mixed…efficient in most cases, but sometimes impersonal with lapses. And security appeared to be very tight, and I always got the impression that I was being watched.

Really pretty but very poor consideration for comfort. No regular airport shuttles which is my first time facing this at any international airport hotel (only private taxis available for additional charge, 10 times the price of uber). Don’t bother paying extra for city view room, the building is not very tall and all you can see anyway is under construction buildings. Not many food options as you’re stuck eating at Citrus fine dining (hotel restaurant). If you order any last minute items or food from outside you’d have to walk half a mile from your room to the main road outside the hotel entrance, and manually collect it from the delivery drivers since they’re not allowed inside the premises. Overall the ambience was great but it definitely did not feel like a 5 star experience because of lack of attention to detail and lack of convenience.

Shower had lukewarm water. So disappointing. More important to me than many other things. Room temperature locked to 20c makes minimum. Too warm, would like to be able to have proper cooling in such a high end hotel. On checkout there was a very very long wait. 20 minutes, long line, many people just gave up.

We have just come back from staying at The Leela and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. All the staff were amazingly helpful and would go out of their way to deliver exceptional service. Our room was on the royal club level and we felt the service including the club lounge was better than some other well branded hotels. The food was both interesting and very good. We loved trying the different Indian food available particularly some of the breakfast. The service at pool was very good with the pool attendant on hand to provide chilled water at regular intervals and extra towels when needed. Thank you for a great stay.

Overall hotel wasnt as expected. Close to the airport. Clean hotel but service was slow and one morning had to wait 5 minutes for a table for breakfast. Complementary fruit took 40 minutes to arrive. After being informed we could get an upgrade no further communication on this was given. At the end of all this we were overcharged £23 on our stay and still waiting for refund and its been over a week and no further communication.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Variety at breakfast could be better. Staff are excellent at breakfast and very helpful. They are very responsive to customer requests. However, a printed menu highlighting a la carte options (e.g. paratha etc) would be helpful on the tables. Communication quite poor - hotel did not respond to our emails about airport transfers.

Hotel was immaculate. Close to airport and a very short walk to the new metro (line 3 / aqua) that can take you into town. All staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fab too and big selection.

Very nice hotel right near the airport in Mumbai. Area around is not a walkable area. Even with being right next to airport you dont hear any planes. If there is any negative it would ne that the restaurant don't serve dinner until 7pm.

Excellent hotel close to the airport. Wonderful staff and service. I loved the pool and its "jungle style" area. Lovely restaurants to choose from, and superb breakfast selection. I tried everything. Dosa, eggs benedicts, omelettes, idli and uttapam. Give everything a go. Mr. Santosh is top notch.

Can't fault the staff or the hotel itself. My only issue would be around the prices in the restaurants. If you want to travel outside the hotel for meals it not easy due to the sheer amount of traffic. i feel the hotels makes the most of this.

It was just a stop over between flights so not there too long. Had a chance for a few hours at the pool where there is no bar or food service and in fact you cannot have drinks or food at your sun bed..... On the other side we had diner in the Chinese restaurant which was excellent

Overall, a great choice right by international terminal, but very quiet! But area outside the hotel is not very nice. Right by new metro also, so very convenient. The bed was really comfortable (unlike the Leela Palace in Chennai), so I was pleasantly surprised. Pool was nice but area around it could be improved. Breakfast was great. The club lounge was a bit limited in terms of nibbles, sounded better on the menu, but unlimited drinks for happy hour and prompt service. Definitely recommend if you want to stay near the airport and more than the usual airport hotel, but not in an area you want to hanging out in. Gerald in the Club area was very helpful and arranged room upgrade to suite, as per Gold Hotels.com membership (many hotels don't recognise this, so this was welcome). All staff were very good. Thanks. I would recommend, certainly at the price I paid (which is probably off-season - wouldn't get a poor three star hotel in my country for this price!). Not sure club room is worth paying much more for, as the lounge offering is quite limited compared to other hotels.
