We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was almost like 2 rooms with a corridor between. It was large and spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful. The pool was small and very busy with families when we tried to use it. The location is brilliant and it was only a 15min walk into the old town. We enjoyed our stay here.

Schöne Gegend und ganz viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Was ich nicht so schön fand, die hohen Parkkosten als Hotel Kunde. Dann sollte man bei der Hotelbuchung auf die Kosten von 22€ hinweisen pro Tag.

Amazing hotel. Very well located. Only mins away from Rosenheimer Platz s-Bahn. Room small but very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The pool area very good however the the temp of pool a bit cold. Overall an excellent stay.

Carpet was pretty dirt in the room. Beds and pillows were not comfortable. Even thou it’s close to old town it’s still 30-40 min walk to main areas. Reception was friendly and fast, but I was not allowed to eat a croissant in the lobby because it was not purchased at the hotel. Hotel manager literally told me to take my croissant to the outside of the hotel and eat it there even though I purchased drinks in the hotel. I travel a lot and this seems insane.

We stayed for 4 days. The room was fine but an old water bottle and sock from the previous room occupant was in our room on arrival. During our stay an item of property was stolen, and the team took a long time to respond to the issue. 4 weeks later and it is still ongoing. We felt the staff lacked the skills to truely make our stay one with a better review. Having property stolen is a big issue for us and we feel it was not handled well. We won’t be staying at a Novotel any longer in the future.

Pros: Nice lobby area and we were able to find some restaurants and bakeries within a 10-minute walk. Cons: The room we had was very small, even by European standards. The sink leaked water constantly on the floor. There was no business center.

The check-in process was quick and the receptionist friendly and personable. The room was play apart from the fact that the toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom with no hand washing facilities. Not having a sink when using the toilet is a bit gross in my opinion. We stayed for 2 nights and I found that bit weird. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We had booked a family room so had a bath and a shower. The breakfast was good. We also had dinner there once and the food was very nice. Their Thai curry tasted really authentic and delicious. There’s a little play area for young children opposite the check in desk which is a nice touch for younger children. The pool was cold but once you get over the initial shock you enjoy the swim regardless. My son liked the pool. In terms of service, I felt you couldn’t fault the staff at all. Everyone was friendly and polite and spoke English as well as German. The area around the hotel is a little odd in places, not helped by the rain making everything look a little sad. It’s a close walk to the S-Bahn and Deutsches Museum. We travelled by train to reach the hotel but the parking garage was located under the hotel and there is a petrol station a few doors down which I’m sure is handy for people who use their car.

Despite listing A/C as an amenity, there A/C never worked in our room during our 2 day stay. Others in our group had the same issue. We brought this to the attention of the hotel but it never improved. We were visiting during June but the outside temps were in the 60s an 70s. It was comfortable in the hallways and lobby. Sadly, the hotel is very nice in every aspect except the hot hotel rooms. I would avoid this hotel during the warm months. I was also disappointed there was no compensation for 2 miserable nights sleep. The open window helped a bit. This was our 7th hotel on our European tour and by far the most uncomfortable.

Walkable to Marienplatz and Old Town but without the outrageous prices you would pay there. Rooms clean and comfortable with modern fixtures. Good WiFi. Very limited TV choices. Despite the presence of an adjustable thermostat in the room, there does not seem to be any effective air conditioning. Hot and humid during our stay, and spent the nights sweating. Really inexcusable in a modern hotel, even at mid pricepoint. Food excellent but pricey (28 Euro for breakfast). Staff friendly and helpful. With working AirCon would be 10/10.

The hotel itself is good. The good: Rooms are good, facility is large, with a good restaurant (which was convenient at night because the hotel is a 15 min walk from the city center if you’re lazy like we were one night!). The 15 min walk is not bad at all otherwise. Easy parking too. The bad: Reception is very understaffed, everytime we went (check in, check out, wifi issue, dropping suitcase, etc.), it was taking a good 20 min wait. There is always a line of 6-7 people and it takes awhile. Second issue is there was no internet on day 1 on our floor. I needed to get some work done and couldn’t, called reception, said they couldn’t do anything, then they would send technician, who never came. Then I went to talk to them in person (waiting 20 minutes again because understaffed), who said we’d have to wait 8am tomorrow. Comes 8am, still no wifi. I had to raise my voice to ask to be relocated to another floor with wifi, to which they said I’d have to wait 3pm. Whilst I totally understand technical issues can happen, it was the lack of solution that annoyed me. They were just shrugging, saying they can’t do anything. Why not offering another bedroom on another floor with wifi? Or offer breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. In short, Hotel is good, customer service is atrocious.

The employee at check in did not know where our room was and sent us with all of our luggage to a completely different wing of the hotel up an elevator 3 floors. When we went to tell him there was no room number that matched what he gave us he callously said oh my mistake you need to go to the other building. No apology and was arrogant about it. There is a very nice restaurant with a breakfast option for $28/per person. We did not opt for this. However, in the main lobby is an espresso/coffee machine with no signage. We assumed it was complimentary coffee for guests but were then told it was not. This is fine, but there should be a sign so people are aware.

The staff was very unfriendly. We had to wait 10 minutes at the bar before we could order something, 4 staff members told us we had to order with another staff member. When we ordered a pizza and a burger, we saw them take out a deep frozen pizza and put it in a heater. One of the staff members told me that (s)he wanted to quit her job because so many customers complaint about the same things. I’ve never experienced such bad service.

The staff was outstanding and professional in all parts and aspects of our stay. Ease of access to sites throughout the city via foot or by having the staff ensure a proper taxi or transport is arranged for the destination. Overall, a great hotel to enjoy for family stays.

I liked the location , it was perfectly placed for where I needed to be that weekend. It was easy to walk to town. The concierge was super nice and professional. The hotel restaurant is mid, do not recommend. The only thing I did not like was that the hotel cleaning staff kept walking into my room! We were able to check in early and they walked in THREE TIMES asking if I needed towels. Then the next day the same thing happened because we weren’t out of our room by 10am when they wanted to tidy up (I had the sign up to not disturb and to be clear, it was not CHECK out day. The next morning it happened again when staff let themselves into our room to grab our tray from previous nights meal, while we were getting ready for the day. I liked everything else just fine, but I would not stay here again just because they felt entitled to walk in however they like. I know they are just trying to do a job, but I do not feel comfortable or safe staying here again.

It is a short walk to the German Museum and an art museum. Across the bridge and you are close to the Marienplatz. Only negative was the high price 28euro for the breakfast buffet, but there is a “city option” that is good. Food was good quality.

The hotel is just ok. Holiday inn next door is a better choice. Hotel restaurant food is low quality but charges are much higher. I'd walk for 5 minures and try the local restaurants for less than half the price. You'd be surprised with the quality. Parking should be imcluded. This is oir 2nd Accor hotel out of 9 hotel stays on this trip. Accor quality certainly went down. They must do better. Customer service needs to be better as well. Here is a comparison: Hilton Vienna- i asked for extra blankets and pillows. They were delivered without questions Novotel Munich- I asked for the same and was interrogated with numerous questions before they were delivered. Not good!! Overall, i'd still pick Holiday Inn next door over this one.
