Angenehme, ruhige Zimmer. Perfekte Betten / Decken. Housekeeping ist praktisch unsichtbar und man wird nicht gestört. Dazu kommt, dass das SPA eine angehneme Grösse hat und man als Gast prima am Abend noch eine kleine Runde schwimmen oder Saunieren kann.

Hotel super central and quiet. The staff was very professional. Only downside: the Spa is not really enjoyable with only a sauna and a steam room accopagnied by the pool which is cold and not really enjoyable to my opinion

Great hotel. Very large and comfortable room. Very convenient location. Spa is perfect. Had a minor issue checking in where the staff member couldn't find my reservation, which seems to be a recurring issue based on reviews, but was quickly resolved.

Service was bad. Room did not have shampoo or tissues. Bed sheets were very humid, not dried properly. I had to call three times between 9 am and 7 ok to finally get shampoo and be able to take a shower. No acknowledgement of the issue whatsoever as if this behaviour was expected and I was done a favour. Service not expected from a 5 star hotel, taking clients for granted.

Front desk were all very friendly and helpful for us as we checked in and helped with any issues. Hotel lobby and lounge area were very well kept and beautiful. We did enjoy breakfast at the hotel bar and appreciated the water and coffee while either heading out or arriving back to the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel and would book again and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Munich to stay here. Thank you

I hope this review benefits to all planning to book this hotel. I confirm that this following information is true without any bias to anyone. 1. The front desk always deny my request, I already put in the reservation that I need a hard pillow for each one. I booked 2 rooms for 4 people. They didn’t do it. The front desk said please tell housemate. Then I told the housemate, she said please call front desk. I kept requesting and got the pillows on 2 nd night. 2. The hotel claims 5 stars while the front desk told us the complementary water is just 1 bottle a day. Such front desk was the guy who did check in for my family on 28th of December 2025. 3. The housemate didn’t vacuum room floor. I stayed in this hotel 5 nights. Neither night was vacuumed. Lots of hair on it. I noted her to do but nothing changed. 4. This hotel is so dirty. They provided us dirty coffee mugs with coco left on it. 5. The service of hotel was just 2 stars in my opinion. 6. After I checked out I report this claim to the Accor representative. One agent replied and said sorry for it, beside offered me credit to compensate. It was so ridiculous such agent disappeared and not contacted me again. So if you are looking for a fine hotel, I wouldn’t recommend this one at all. Sincerely Chalerin

Very dirty place, we paid for the breakfast, but the selection was very poor, we asked for coffee about 10 times, had to ask again and again because they didn’t bring it, staff not helpful, I don’t recommend it to anyone! Even a motel in a small village is cleaner and has 100 times better breakfast offer, room was smelly and dirty, there were long hairs everywhere, like in a hair salon. AVOID THEM!!

The Sofitel Munich Bayerpost is a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay there, but it falls short of being a 5-star place. The location is great, right next to the train station (S-bahn) and walkable to Old Town in the centre of Munich. The staff was very helpful and friendly and gave me a room upgrade (my first room was in the cold, far corner of the building). The Spa is wonderful. Great sauna and steam room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but didn't change much from day to day. What made it less than a five star was the quality of the room. Furniture was older and the carpet was very stained. The amenities were sparse. And the lobby design was lacking. A five star hotel should have large, inviting seating areas where you can relax and meet friends. The lobby here was all over the place and not warm at all. I would consider staying here again if they modernize their rooms. 7/10.

Location great, just outside old town and all within 15 min walk. Beautiful lobby and fast checkin.The only big complaint is the bathroom. Thin sliding glass separates it from the living area so basically you hear and even see too much. There is no privacy and all gets wet when you shower. I would expect a much better bathroom from a 5 star hotel.

Great location. Right next to the train station but easily walk to Marionplatz and tons of shopping, farmers market and tourist attractions. Staff is awesome. Shout out to Umut the Manager on Duty who was friendly and took care of our every need. Great bar, good drink menu. Will definitely go back!!

If you're an international traveller who appreciates service in English, fast and friendly staff, and extra clean rooms – choose another hotel. I did my usual inspection for bed bugs and general cleanliness under the mattress. This was the first time I found it so dirty that I actually had to Google if what I saw could be bed bugs. I showed the pictures at the reception, but they didn’t take it seriously. They sent up a guy who only spoke German. Through Google Translate, he told me that it was completely normal and nothing to worry about. That said, the location and the spa are great. I interacted with the reception four times, and the minimum waiting time was always at least five minutes. You need to enjoy waiting if you choose this hotel.

Wir haben im Sofitel München übernachtet und das Hotel hat grundsätzlich eine gute Basis, aber der Service hat unseren Aufenthalt leider deutlich beeinträchtigt. Beim Check-in mussten wir rund 15–20 Minuten warten, und auch danach war es bei jedem Anliegen wieder dasselbe: Weil Zimmerservice und Reinigung telefonisch nicht erreichbar waren bzw. niemand abnahm, blieb einem nichts anderes übrig, als erneut an der Rezeption anzustehen und wieder zu warten. Ein Concierge-Service war für uns praktisch nicht vorhanden. Zusätzlich hat im Zimmer Duschschaum/Duschgel gefehlt. Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck eines spürbaren Personalmangels, den man als Gast leider direkt zu fühlen bekommt. Schade, denn mit besserer Erreichbarkeit und ausreichend Personal könnte das Erlebnis deutlich hochwertiger sein.

the concierge was never on duty. I had to wait in line of the reception for a very long time in order to ask a simple question. Of course the answers are never the same as they could have been of a concierge. There was no decent queue at the reception and people were almost just randomly queuing.

Very clean, excellent service, breakfast was amazing, right next to train station. I didn't like that the WC was located very far away from restaurant, breakfast, bar. Very inconvenient. It was a sketchy area at night. Best dining was a 20 - 30 minute walk. Check in was a bit slow.

Great hotel, great staff, within walking distance from basically everything important in Munich! It’s right next to the main train station, separated by hotel’s courtyard. The immediate area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest due to the proximity to the central station, however, it’s very safe and secure. Staff are excellent and in any imaginable way professional. House keeping was hit and miss and inconsistent depending on who’s shift it was… Some days we returned to a room with replenished toiletries and coffee/tea, fresh towels, chocolates on nightstands, water bottles, etc., and some days only beds were made and used towels were collected -nothing else done.

4 amazing days. Just back from a great city break. Hotel superbly located for the main train station and a 10 minute easy walk to the old town. Staff incredibly helpful and courteous. Rooms really spacious and of a high quality. Spa excellent and the bar area was a really nice vibe - would definitely stay again!

Great hotel with history. The staff is very welcoming. Everyone was great and professional especially Alex at the reception and Jeffry in the breakfast area. The quality of service is high and the breakfast is just amazing. There’s also a nice cozy spa, with a relaxing pool. (Although pool temperature could have been warmer). Location is just next to the train and metro station. Walkable distance to the best street foods and high end restaurants. Old city centre is 10 minutes away by walk. I recommend anyone visiting Munich to book this hotel.

We stayed here two nights and it was wonderful. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, the service was excellent and the bed was just right. The location was perfect, across the street from a taxi stand and steps from the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is also beautiful inside, very stylish. We have stayed across the street at Le Meridien as well and Sofitel beats it in every category.

Nice hotel, very central. The breakfast looks fantastic, but it doesnt help, when alll the hot food is cold. And if you order omelette, it is not nice and fluffy- watch upp, the chef is overcooking everything, both omelette and scrambled egg was terrible....

Good location next to central station. The staff in breakfast is really tired and could not give the service that could be expected of this kind of high level hotel. We had to ask several times for coffee and they forgot our orders, same thing four days in a row. Also the staff in check in desk were not very service minded and I had to ask three times before they exchanged my key to the room that didn’t work when I checked in. Service needs to step up over all.

Great location near the train station that’s within walking distance of everything interesting. Excellent on premise dining and breakfast options. Lovely spa to relax and rejuvenate. It was my first time in Munich and the staff made my stay enjoyable.

We really liked the SPA, very cool and unusual pool. The breakfast was far from worth the price, mediocre quality, the omelett was dry and burned, bred was dry etc. We also had dinner on Delice, nothing special, not bad, but nothing to recommend either. The rooms was small and dark, bad light in the bathroom and the bed was waaaay to soft. The room description said "for 3 guests" (we have a 6 year old daughter). No place for 3rd guest or an extra bed, she slept with us. Which is OK, but not when you pay €500/night. Speaking about price, the parking is €43/day, not extremely expensive but a bit much. We stayed in this hotel one time before and at that time we really liked it, but not this time. There are many hotels in Munich with better price/quality than this one.
