Flemings Hotel München-Schwabing

Good in general. The parking was very small, difficult to access with (standard) long cars. The halls (corridors) look quite old and would need a renovation. Breakfast was very good. Internal bar for drinks was good. The rooms are not cleaned automatically, you have to ask for room cleaning and towel change.

We wouldn't recommend this hotel due to some basic issues. The room is very basic. The pillows are terribly soft and uncomfortable. But the worst thing, as you will see in other reviews is the fact that the air conditioning does not work at all. You might think that's only an issue in the summer, but it was 9 degrees outside and absolutely boiling in the room. You can't open the window because it is incredibly noisy outside. The shower floods everywhere because of a design flaw. Not to mention the fact there is no door on the bathroom. So when you shower, you are completely visible to the whole room. Then there is a flimsy glass door for the toilet. Absolutely no dignity at all. The only saving grace were the staff who were always very helpful.

You have to ask for room cleaning and towel change, it is not done automatically. Breakfast is very good. The gym is small. The sauna is very nice but don't forget to bring your own slippers and bath robe, they are not supplied. The internal bar has a good choice of drinks, meal choice is limited but there are nice restaurants nearby.
