The property was excellent except for the fact that there is no parking. We drove there and discovered that there was limited space in the hotel parking garage and they have no other options for guests to park. We ended up driving around a 4-5 block radius for 2.5 hrs until we found a parking spot. Finally the next day, a parking spot opened up in the garage so we were able to take that one. Again, the hotel itself was great, but the parking situation was very inconvenient. The last thing we wanted to do after a 4 hour drive was drive around for another 2.5 hours looking for parking.

Beautifully renovated building with trendy decor. Our room had a lovely little balcony overlooking a small courtyard. Convenient location. Definitely not accessible, rooms can only be reached by stairs - very small elevator stops between floors. Parking was sketchy, very small spots with ramps.

Einrichtung sehr schön jedoch eher "Billigbau" was oft in Bad ersichtlich ist. Extrem hellhörig, sodass man den Nachbarn beim Toiletten-/Duschgang, Telefonat etc. gut hören kann so leider auch den Verkehr und Reinigungskräfte beim saugen. Garage sehr alt und vermutlich aus baulicher Sicht nicht möglich praktisch zu gestalten (Einfahrt erschwert durch starkes Gefälle und sogar mit normalem PW hart an der Grenze) ansonsten aber ok. 22.-/Nacht ehrlich gesagt bisschen viel. Zugang vom Hotel in die Garage sehr eng und zigestellt grosses Gepäck daher besser über den Haupteingang mitnehmen. Essen kann nicht beurteilt werden wurde nicht genutzt.

très déçus de l'accueil un peu brusque et surtout du parking qui nous a été refusé, parce que nous avons une voiture plus grande qu'une berline. Soit disant elle est hors gabarit, alors qu'elle entre dans tous les parkings standards. Nous avons été obligés de nos garer dans la rue avec un tarif très élevé et un temps de parking restreint avant de la déposer au parking de la gare à 30 minutes de marche de notre hôtel. Si ces informations nous avaient été données avant, nous aurions choisi un hôtel acceptant notre véhicule.

Great place for a stay in Munich. It is small but very efficient use of space in the rooms, with a very interesting shower/toilet situation but overall it was fine. Checkin and checkout were easy and prices were great. They do have parking but it is a very tight spot so if you have a larger SUV you might struggle getting the car in and out of the spots..

For a european hotel room, this had plenty of space for us to spread out a bit. Everything was very clean and felt new. The staff was amazing and even with us showing up so much earlier than our reservation, we appreciated a room being ready early to drop our luggage and get freshened up after our early flight. Staff were happy to chat and provide recommendations for things to do. The breakfast was excellent and served at good times (allowing us to sleep in a bit after attending Oktoberfest).

We had an awesome stay here at the Hotel Gio. It is in a quiet area which is good but also very close to transportation and Marienplatz. The room is clean and comfortable with air-conditioning. Housekeeping is on request but free. Toby at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful! His positive attitude definitely gave an overall great impression of the hotel and definitely rebooking if we go back to Munich.

Staff very friendly and helpful. No cleaning provided unless requested. Main issue for me was the slated blinds over the windows which let in a lot of light whilst trying to sleep. Not so great in the summer with light early mornings.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Firstly, it is very dirty. Dirty sofas and floors. And mouldy walls. I couldn't even sit on the sofa. I thought it was just the standard of the hotel for this price and I didn't realise it was the low standard of this hotel until I stayed in another hotel the next day for the same price. Secondly, they had a car park but when I arrived at 3 they said the car park was gone. I needed street parking and street parking can't be parked nearby, you need to cross another street. Also, street parking only accepts coins. But they didn't have any coins. I ended up parking on the street ten minutes away. I spent a lot of time changing coins just to park. Anyway, if you like clean rooms. You will be very disappointed with this hotel.

I really wanted to like this place, I think it\'s very cute ("la dolce vita" is the hotel\'s motto). It\'s campy Italian and the rooms are pretty nice as well. Unfortunately, they have me a room on the ground floor and it was impossible to sleep. Constant noise and there wasn\'t any privacy because the window looks directly onto the restaurant patio. There was construction during the day, which the hotel had not mentioned, and some banging early in the morning. The shutters also don\'t block out the light (or the view) completely. This pretty much ruined the stay for me. Maybe there would be better luck on a different floor.

Nice clean and modern hotel with great staff. I stayed in a balcony room with a great bed and sofa. The room did not have a fridge or tea and coffee facilities so factor these in to any value equation. There is a laundromat within 300metres walk

Das Hotel liegt zentral, die Innenstadt ist zu Fuss erreichbar, die U-Bahn ist 2 Minuten entfernt. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll zubereitet, der Frühstücksraum und der Innenhof mit italienischem Flair, das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit Die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber, allerdings auch sehr klein, das Waschbecken ist in das Zimmer integriert, es gibt also kein separat abgetrenntes Badezimmer, Toilette und Dusche kann man nur mit einer Schwingtür schliessen (entweder/oder),

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr praktisch. Vom Goetheplatz ist man innerhalb kürzester Zeit in der Innenstadt, aber auch gut angebunden um in äußere Gebiete zu fahren. Die Zimmer zur Straße hin, können recht laut sein und die Holzlamellen, mit denen sich die Zimmer abdunkeln lassen, lassen trotzdem noch relativ viel Licht durch. Ansonsten lässt sich über nichts beklagen.

Excellent location. Walking distance from local Metro. Near by restaurants and grocery store. Staff was very good and helpful. For the four people room, we felt some of the room features were not optimal - for example one door between bathroom and shower so only one of them can be used at a time. Otherwise no complaints,we had a good stay.

The check in experience was rather strange, the receptionist only spoke to us via speakers and instructed us how to get the key. No service whatsoever, and we had to ask other guest for WiFi password. The room was ok, though there was no fridge to keep drink or food.

I went to Hotel Gio for 3 nights by myself. The location is great, right next to Goetheplatz U-bahn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I would book again for my next trip. I had a room towards the inner area on 4th floor, which probably made it more quiet than other rooms that are facing the road outside. I enjoyed my stay there.

Schönes und stilvolles Hotel. Bequeme Betten und schöne Einrichtung. Frühstück war auch sehr gut, Leider hatte der Fernseher Empfangsprobleme, aber das war auch die einzige Schwachstelle.
