Hotel Wetterstein

Clean and comfortable. I was there for work and this really was perfect. They have a good breakfast spread in the morning and a bar in the lobby but no restaurant. Rooms are economical and but well appointed.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Staff was pleasant and helpful! Bed was super comfy! The only thing that we were not happy about is it says they have laundry services which they do but their dryer did not work! After 1 hour of drying our clothes were still wet! We had to go to an actual laundry mat which wasn’t very far but after trying to dry our clothes for 2 hours! That’s was a waste of time.

Nice stay at Wetterstein Hotel with our family. The inside of the hotel was lovely, clean and well kept. The outside was being completely renovated so a bit of a building site. Having said that, apart from it looking rather uninviting we’d didn’t experience any noise as the builders were considerate and tidy. We found the breakfast rather expensive for what was on offer, but loved the free beer if you went green and choose not to have your room serviced every day. A good incentive to think ecologically!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit der U-Bahn erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Getränke und Lebensmittel. Es bietet ein gutes Frühstücksbüffet an und hat auch eine kleine Bar.

Ein einfaches Hotel an einem sehr guten, relativ ruhigen Standort, 2 Gehminuten von der U-Bahn Station Wettersteinplatz entfernt, von der aus man in 5 Minuten am Sendlinger Tor und damit in der Altstadt ist. Die Zimmer sehen aus, als wurden sie vor kurzem renoviert, sind allerdings relativ klein, was vermutlich den guten Preis erklärt, denn Preis-Leistung waren echt top. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut, das Personal nett und es gibt sogar eine Art Tiefgarage, die allerdings eine Straße entfernt in einem anderen Gebäude liegt und extrem heruntergekommen wirkt.. aber für 10 Euro pro Nacht geht das in Ordnung. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert

L’arbergo attualmente in ristrutturazione, all’esterno lavori di rifacimento muri, con disagio dovuto al rumore dei lavori. Abbiamo avuto una esperienza terribile con la doccia intasata e ad un certo punto usciva dallo scolo della doccia feci e urina del water. Stessa cosa anche ad altri clienti nella stessa sera. La stanza ci è stata cambiata con una migliore ma fredda e umida (seminterrata) ma per lo meno senza problemi. Colazione troppo costosa per l’offerta di prodotti presenti. L’unica cosa ottima la vicinanza alla metro. Non credo che ci torneremo e non lo consiglierei per nulla al mondo. Nemmeno un po’ di sconto per il disagio arrecato a tutta la famiglia, abbiamo pagato per fino l’acqua. Orribile esperienza

This is a great little hotel! The decor is nothing to write home about but our room was very spacious, as well as clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and overall we found it was quiet provided you don’t have some kid squealing and yelling in a nearby room like we did, however we popped in air plugs and weren’t disturbed by them any further! The carpark is secure and well worth the additional fee. As for location, we thought it was brilliant! The trams and underground are right there - we took the underground and it was only four stops to the centre of town and just a short and pleasant stroll from there to the Marienplatz square. There is a lovely bakery and a convenience store just up from the hotel, and we had dinner at a nearby food truck (10-15 minutes walk) which served burgers one night and tacos the next night -and the food was so amazing we ate there both nights of our stay! Highly recommended if you fancy a short stroll - look for it on google maps. Didn’t eat at the hotel but there is a pleasant looking little bar area in the reception. Overall we were really happy with our stay here. A handy location and a decent price

The property is near a metro station and small market. The property does not look like the photos! Very deceiving-red carpet is dingy and dirty. Towels and linensThe shower is such a high step in that my very tall son climbed in, and even with his long legs, slipped and fell in the tub. If you have any incapacity or weakness the hotel’s entrance stairs are very impractical to get luggage in and out. There is a very odd ramp on the stairs to get luggage up and down. I could not get my luggage to balance on it so it would be an easy transition. This hotel has 3 stars, at most I would give it a 2. We got an awful room in a basement with windows facing sidewalk.

Sehr freundliches Personal. U-Bahnstation in unmittelbarer Nähe. Genügend Parkplätze am Hotel (11€ / 24h) und eigenes Parkhaus (10€ / 24h) ca. 300m entfernt. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Alles in Allem ein sehr angenehmes Hotel. Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für einen Sightseeing-Trip durch München. Einziges Manko: Unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss. Daher konnten wir leider in der Nacht die (sehr laute) Toilettenspülung der anderen Gäste hören. Wir kommen gerne wieder, aber nächste Mal in einem Zimmer im Dachgeschoss :-)

Chambre très confortable, personnel très compétent. Très propre et fonctionnel. Excellent emplacement a 100 mètres du métro, à 10 mn de l’hypercentre.

Direkte Tramanbindung, gutes Frühstück, sauberes Zimmet

Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer im Kellergeschoss. Die Scheiben waren zwecks Sichtschutz zur Straße mit Folie abgeklebt, was das Zimmer noch dunkler machte und ein beengtes Gefühl vermittelte. Zudem roch es vom Abfluss im Badezimmer her modrig und nach Abwasser.

It’s a basic hotel. The door lock did not work so well. There were cobwebs and spiders in the room.

Nice hotel. It was not as clean as it could be, and the wifi was a bit unstable. But overall the stay was nice.

Hotel room was clean, modern and fresh, but felt a bit small. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The only thing I would really improve on is the pillows.

Smal bed in kleine kamer met dun kussentje. Airco werkte niet waardoor het heel heet was in de kamer. De volgende dag bleek de airco door de receptie aangezet te moeten worden. Toen was het beter, maar hij sprong toch steeds vanzelf weer uit

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. But the room was below average. Very small, little counter space in the bathroom, and the open-ended design of the shower produces a lot of water on the floor.

Hotel insgesamt gut, leider sehr nahe an sehr belebter Straße, daher sehr laut vor allem bei Regen. Frühstück gut. Das Doppelbett war zu diesem Preis sehr klein 140 breit, noch nie erlebt, wenn, dann für eine Person.

Lage zur U-Bahn ist sehr gut. Die Bettmatratze war sehr durchgelegen und ein Lüften in der Nacht wegen Gesprächen im Innenhof nicht mgl.

Nice but sparse in amenities, e.g., no easily available ice (only upon request in small amounts at front desk), no wash clothes available at the hotel. Also, there was no shower door in my room so water would invariably end up all over the bathroom floor.

rooms very minimal, bathroom even more. bathroom clean, moquette a bit less. very quiet, 200m from the U station.

Safe comfortable good-value hotel 4 subway stops from the city center. Good substantial breakfast menu and very helpful and friendly staff. I stay here every October for a conference because it’s close to the conference venue and find it very comfortable and convenient.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Wetterstein. We arrived 3 hours earlier than check-in time, the staff members were so lovely and able to accommodate our early arrival. The location is great, not too close to the buzing CBD but not too far away either. The hotel is walking distance from Wettersteinplatz. Thank you again for having us :)

Sehr gutes und freundliches Hotel. Da mein Mann noch länger in der nahen Klinik bleiben musste konnte ich den Aufenthalt unproblematisch verlängern. Frühstück ist reichhaltig, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Zimmer sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Die U-Bahn und Trambahn ist 2 Minuten entfernt und kommt so recht schnell in die Stadt. Bin rundum zufrieden

I liked the location of the hotel in the heart of Giesing. A short U-Bahn trip away from Munich City Center. The area is very safe and a lots of bars in the area. There is a nice forrest walk way behind the hotel too.There was nothing that I did not like.

Fabulous. Bright and well decorated. Friendly welcome, comfy bed . Eay 400 metre walk to watch TSV 1860 Munich at sold out Grunwalder Stadion and even closer to Sbahn, Uban station.

Nettes Hotel in Giesing mit hervorragendem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zu U-Bahn und Tram ist das Stadtzentrum schnell zu erreichen.

Posizione ottima vicino alla metro. Camera pulita e confortevole. C'erano alcuni lavori in corso nella struttura. Il check-in è disponibile dopo le 15. La colazione (buona e varia) costa 13 euro.

Rigtig god morgenmad, god beliggenhed i forhold til transport. Gode værelser med Aircondition. En lille ulempe var at der kun var koldt vand i hanen på toilettet. Der var varmt vand til bad.
