This property has some good characteristics. Breakfast is excellent, as are the servers. The terrace is lovely. But the lodging staff are curt, inattentive and downright rude. Air conditioning was NOT working during a heat wave, and nobody seemed to care. Never saw a supervisor anywhere and the staff here needs supervision.

Overall image was ok. Location is good, bed was comfortable and breakfast was great but the room was very small, the water boiler was broken and the gym did not have any weights and was furthermore like an oven. The fridge did not work in the gym and there were therefore no refreshments

I stayed here a few times before, about 20 years ago. The hotel has remained pleasant, with updates to the furniture and lobby, of course. Rooms were clean, service was good, and the tiny late night bar is pleasant for a quick beer with friends.

We have stayed before, but in the past year the condition had gone down. The air conditioner didnt really work. Although we asked to have it checked, the room was hot and humid. Also, the bathroom had a bit of mold on the shower. Very good access to the UBahn.

Check-In ging zügig, Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit der Zimmer mangelhaft, habe eine leichte Stauballergie, Teppichboden sind daher in Ordnung - wenn gut gestaubsaugt. War hier nicht der Fall, morgens mit geschwollenen Augen und Niesanfällen wach geworden. Oberflächen mit sichtbarem Staub belagert, Badezimmerwände scheinbar lange nicht mehr ordentlich gereinigt worden und (fremde) Haare an den Wänden. Habe erstmal selbst alles abgewischt. Um nicht geweckt zu werden habe ich das „Calm“ Schild nach außen hin gehangen, leere Toilettenrolle und das auszuwechselnde Handtuch vor die Türe gelegt. Es versteht sich in jedem Hotel von selbst, dass man dann einfach ein neues Handtuch und neues Toilettenpapier vor die Türe legt. Hier leider nicht, wurde einfach ersatzlos mitgenommen. Hotels jeder Preisklasse sollten staubfreie Oberflächen, ordentlich gesaugte Teppiche, saubere Bäder und Reinigungspersonal mit einem Grundverständnis für den Beruf mitbringen. Das sind Selbstverständlichkeiten.

The stay was okay, well below average for a four star hotel. I stayed in many places, but this one should be a three star hotel max. The breakfast was not very tasty, even the coffee tasted blend. Room was spacious and had a bath tub, what was great. The room could haven been way cleaner.

Insgesamt hatte ich eine gute Erfahrung, weil es freundliches Personal, saubere und bequeme Zimmer und eine gute Lage gibt. Aber ich fand die Kisten sehr weich und ich denke auch dass das Zimmer besser wäre, wenn das Zimmer eine Minibar oder einen Kühlschrank hat. Nichtsdestotrotz hatte ich eine tolle Zeit. Danke.

I just stayed at this property for a week. It's a bit removed from the main tourist sites, but is very close to both a train and subway station, so they are easily accessible by public transportation. The daily breakfast was very good and offered a variety of options. My one complaint is that my room was too warm, so I kept the window open, but there was almost constant street noise. It have been nice to get the AC to a lower temperature. But that is really a minor issue; overall, I really enjoyed my stay there.

Die Einrichtung war nicht mehr auf den neuesten Stand. Mein Bett quietschte. Das Bad war in die Jahre gekommen… Die Wand im Zimmer benötigt einen neuen Anstrich. Doch war alles sauber. Hervorheben möchte ich die junge Frau von der Rezeption, die sehr höflich und zuvorkommend war. Die Verkehrsanbindung zur Innenstadt war super. Location is convenient close to public transport and surrounding area is pleasant with dining options. The hotel is a standard function-built property. Rooms are very small and furbishing is dated. Bathroom is small and had a room with a bathtub-shower... I had booked a "Cosy garden view" room, optionally requested to be situated on a "high" floor and got a noisy "street view" on the lowest possible floor. Breakfast buffet is standard, no thrills but does the job. Beware the service stops 10am sharp, which is early! This is a suitable fit for a short business trip, I would not recommend for extended leisure stays.

Good central location. Very close to public transit stops. Having a fridge and microwave in the room is pretty basic in north America so I did not check that the room did not have it and was surprised to not have it in the room. Reception did offer us to use the microwave in their kitchen which was nice. I definitely forgot a sweater which was a special gift, called them same day to inform about it but they said it was not found... didn't expect that in an honorable country such as Germany, in a city like Munich.

This was my second visit to this hotel due to my previous experience and this year certainly lived up to expectations. My room was located at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden which was a nice view in the mornings. The room was spacious with ample storage, had comfortable furnishings and was kept in top condition by the housekeeping staff. All the staff from reception to housekeeping were polite, friendly and thoroughly professional. A special mention to the breakfast staff who were kept busy but despite this were always polite and friendly and ensured there was always enough food available. This hotel is situated just a short underground or bus trip from the city centre and public transport is literally right on the doorstep.

Pros: Very friendly staff! Room was clean and very convenient location being next to the U6 line. Cons: Breakfast is ~18 euro per day. It was not clear when ordering the room. I asked for a Queen bed which ended up being two twin beds placed together. Leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle.

Trotz Anfrage wegen Tiefgaragenstellplatz keine Rückantwort ! Bei Ankunft war Tiefgarge ausgebucht. Lapidarer Hinweis, fahren sie doch in ein Park und Ride Parkhaus in der Nähe. Auf die Frage wo dieses Parkhaus ist, Antwort: Kann ich nicht sagen. Beim Auschecken wurde der Tiefgaragenplatz mit 25 Euro berechnet und erst nach Hinweis storniert. Duschkopf war defekt, wegen einer Übernachtung aber nicht reklamiert.

The water in the hotel was out 3 days in a row. Couldn't shower. The room staff wasn't great. They forgot to replenish coffee, glasses, water, etc. The front desk was not helpful with the water situation and there was no compensation for this problem.

Second rate hotel, certainly not a 4*! Far from downtown, making the center hard to reach with Munich's unreliable transit system. Reception staff not always friendly. Only 1 English channel on the TV, and it's MTV, I'm not a teenager anymore. After I had an argument with a receptionist, he lied and noted in my record that I'd been smoking in the room, so the hotel could rob me of €150. Would never stay here again.

Good central location. Very close to public transit stops. Having a fridge and microwave in the room is pretty basic in north America so I did not check that the room did not have it and was surprised to not have it in the room. Reception did offer us to use the microwave in their kitchen which was nice. I definitely forgot a sweater which was a special gift, called them same day to inform about it but they said it was not found... didn't expect that in an honorable country such as Germany, in a city like Munich.

This was my second visit to this hotel due to my previous experience and this year certainly lived up to expectations. My room was located at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden which was a nice view in the mornings. The room was spacious with ample storage, had comfortable furnishings and was kept in top condition by the housekeeping staff. All the staff from reception to housekeeping were polite, friendly and thoroughly professional. A special mention to the breakfast staff who were kept busy but despite this were always polite and friendly and ensured there was always enough food available. This hotel is situated just a short underground or bus trip from the city centre and public transport is literally right on the doorstep.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The young lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was a very good size and so clean! They even upgraded our room which was a massive bonus so thank you for that. Breakfast was great as well. Loads of choice and all very tasty and fresh. The staff were great replacing items that run out and clearing tables quickly. The hotel is in a great location too. 30 second walk from the U bahn and only a few stops from the main shopping area. There's also some good shops nearby for any bits you need. Quiet location too We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Munich.

I just stayed at this property for a week. It's a bit removed from the main tourist sites, but is very close to both a train and subway station, so they are easily accessible by public transportation. The daily breakfast was very good and offered a variety of options. My one complaint is that my room was too warm, so I kept the window open, but there was almost constant street noise. It have been nice to get the AC to a lower temperature. But that is really a minor issue; overall, I really enjoyed my stay there.

The K KHotel, Harras, was an ideal place to stay, being only 4stops away from Munich centre on that subway, meant I could have some tranquil time outside beautiful Munich city and be only 15 mins away when visiting. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly,and hotel was very clean(great breakfast to start your day, worthwhile). I had a very pleasant stay

Die Sauberkeit im Frühstücksraum lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Um genau zu sein: sie ist fahrlässig. Der grüne "gesunde" Saft war bereits schlecht - meine Tochter hatte nach dem "Genuss" starken Durchfall. Die Tische werden abgeräumt und mit neuem Geschirr bestückt. Nach dem "neu Eindecken" wird mit einem Lappen über die Tische gewedelt und nicht gewischt. Der Lappen wird neben dem Tisch ausgeschüttelt und, ohne ausgespült zu werden, für den nächsten Tisch verwendet. Hygienisch ist anders. Vom Umweltaspekt möchte man eigentlich gar nicht reden. Die kleinen Plastikflaschen mit Duschbad, Shampoo und Bodylotion werden täglich, auch wenn nicht viel raus ist, gewechselt. Hier wären große nachfüllbare Spender in der Dusche angebracht. Auch das Personal wechselt ständig. Im Frühstücksraum arbeiten täglich neue Praktikanten oder Azubis welche bei Fragen keine richtige Antwort geben können. Mag sein, dass ich viel genauer hinschaue und Staub auf Kosmetik-Tücher-Haltern, Lichtschaltern, Mülleimerdeckeln, Bilderrahmen... sehe weil ich selbst in einem kleinen Hotel arbeite. Aber egal ob das Hotel groß oder klein ist, Sauberkeit, Hygiene und vernünftiges Personal welches Fragen beantworten kann sind das A und O! Zusammengefasst: ich würde nicht wieder dort schlafen. Nicht mal für eine Nacht.

Stayed in the k k for 5 nights between Xmas and New Year. Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel the room was very comfortable , had booked the breakfast which we found to be reasonable value and there was certainly plenty choice for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast. It is a bit out from the centre but very easy to catch metro into centre you can also walk which takes about 50 minutes . There isn’t a huge amount of restaurants around that area but we found a decent Greek one also a couple of Bavarian ones which were quite good.

Pros: Very friendly staff! Room was clean and very convenient location being next to the U6 line. Cons: Breakfast is ~18 euro per day. It was not clear when ordering the room. I asked for a Queen bed which ended up being two twin beds placed together. Leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle.

I wish my experience of staying at the K+K hotel was more hands on as to allow me to present a more insightful review. Unfortunately, when my wife and I, who were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, turned up at the hotel after a long delayed journey, we were told that our pre paid room was not available as it was given to another guest. The receptionist was obviously embarrassed and arranged for us to stay at a hotel down the road. Unfortunately, the replacement hotel was of far less inferior quality and lacked the amenities of the 4 star hotel we booked, including a bar, gym, sauna, outdoor area etc. it was also disappointing that they failed to rectify the problem for the 2nd night. I have written to Hotels.com, as I only booked through them to guarantee the extra protection that they offer. So far, I have had no response!

We arrived late at night only to find out that the hot water boiler was broken and the hotel had no hot water all three nights we stayed there. They made it up by providing free buffet breakfast and they also offered a 25% discount on our stay, but to be honest we haven’t yet seen the refund
