The hotel has a wonderful position. You can join the centre in 10 minutes walk or you can get every means of transport to go everywhere. The superior room with garden view is silent. The breakfast is outstanding. The swimming pool a bit cold but very nice. The only negative thing is the room tv without english movie channel or at least one italian channel.

The good: Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms, nice spa, amazing service. Food in restaurant was reasonable and the restaurant has lovely design. Minutes from main train station yet inside you feel like in sanctuary. Short distance to historic centre. metro at doorstep. The bad: please ensure that TVs have option to stream own content - add chrxomecast boxes or similar - its 21st century... Hotel staff sorted it by adding HDMI cable as I had own stream box but most travelers will expect to be able to mirror device directly.

Location good. Swimming pool was nice. Convenient for travel around Munich and Bavaria. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked the stay in January and at the last minute we had to cancel due to a family emergency. The hotel very kindly gave us our money back even though the booking was non refundable. This is why we rebooked the same hotel for September.

Super spacious room with nice bed . AC was not to good so they provided fan for circulation which served purpose . Nice breakfast Wow location … right near the main station hbf. Loads of taxi in front and everything was ok . Surprisingly lot of middle eastern people in the hotel . Garden facing . Small problem but I won’t reduce star rating 1. Housekeeping did not clean the room until 1:30 2. I tried many calls between 12:30 - 13:30 no one from housekeeping to room service to front desk answered . Later they said , they were affected by the malware attack , which I trust might be an issue as they are saying phone lines are also through Internet 😤 3. The revolving entrance door never worked and its pain to enter with luggage . No one cared about this from the hotel side .

Das Le Méridien ist sehr gut gelegen, ganz in der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof. Zur Innenstadt sind es knapp 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Das Hotelzimmer ist genug gross und bietet soweit alles was ein Hotelzimmer benötigt. Die Dusche ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig und angenehm. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über einen Indoor-Pool, diesen empfanden wir als relativ kühl. Preislich sicherlich nicht ganz günstig, aber allgemein ein gutes Stadthotel, würde ich wieder buchen.

Die Zimmer waren an mehreren Stellen deutlich verstaubt, was wir in dieser Preiskategorie nicht erwarten. Zudem war das Schlafsofa für unsere Kinder an einer Stelle gebrochen, sodass man nicht gerade darauf liegen konnte. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Shampoo-Flasche in der Dusche leer; leider war sie auch am nächsten Tag nach der Reinigung weiterhin leer, obwohl wir die Reinigungskraft ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen hatten. Besonders unpraktisch für Familien ist außerdem, dass es keinen Aufzug von der Hotelgarage ins Hotel gibt. Das Gepäck muss über eine lange Treppe getragen werden, was mit Kinderwagen oder viel Gepäck sehr mühsam ist. Angesichts dieser Mängel und des hohen Übernachtungspreises sind wir sehr verärgert und können das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht empfehlen.

No soap in the bathroom, asked 3 different members if staff including the receptionist. We jever got the soap had to use the shower gel instead. First of a 3 night stay having a shower in the morning notice the bathroom floor was wet, turned out the radiator was leaking and was pouring water all over the floor. Housekeeping notified we got moved to get a different room. Went out for the day and night in new room went without any issues. Went out the following day and returned to change for dinner and the room had not been serviced. Contacting reception who said they worid get this organised. Returned later that night and coffee/tea, milk water and again soap not replenished. Contacted reception again!! Another issue resolved again. The new room had an issue with the safe this was never resolved! At checkout we expressed our concerns, we were given a voucher which could be redeemed in the restaurant..during our stay!! Definitely not a 5 star. Seemed to have a problem with housekeeping, when I asked for soap i was handed body lotion!!!

The room was very dirty, food and toys are on the ground, house keeping forgot to clean half of the room, so difficult to find the rooms, AC is not working, poor staff communications! Worst experience I have ever had in my Life.

Die Qualität des Hotels weisst brutal von fünf Sternen ab - das ist eher ein 2-3 Sterne Niveau maximal. Zimmer dreckig, abgenutzt, alt und zerstört. Alles in einem katastrophalem Zustand (habe auch die Gelegenheit Junior Suite zu sehen weil das andere Paar eine andere Zimmerkategorie hatte). Ich würde hier einen Stern wirklich geben aber die Leute bemühen sich sehr und dafür gibt es diese Pluspunkt

4 night stay.Would definitely return. Excellent location. Hotel is opposite the central train station.10-15 minute walk from the centre of town. Staff were professional, helpful, conversive & efficient. A big shout out inparticular for the reception staff , Imri restaurant staff & the breakfast-bar staff who made fabulous omlettes! Superb, plentiful breakfast , with multiple options to suit all tastes. Quiet room, Large comfortable bed. Good shower with high quality toiletries. Spa amenities were spotlessly clean as were the rest rooms & communal areas. One star knocked off cleanliness due to the presence of the cute little fella (mouse) who appears to have made a home in the book cases in reception! Overall a very enjoyable stay.

O hotel tinha tudo para ser ótimo, porém, falta manutenção e limpeza. Os hotel como um todo está muito sujo e empoeirado e alguns itens precisam de manutenção de rotina. Além disso, em um dia esqueceram de limpar nosso quarto. Entrei em contato com a recepção e já não tinha mais ninguém disponível para fazer a limpeza.

The hotel is nice and clean. The location is really good and close til the train station. But if you want a good night sleep - dont stay here. They have not noise sealed the doors in the hotel room. So you hear everything from the hallway. Was woken up by the noise and people speaking in the hallway several times throuout the night. This is not exceptable for this price point and stars.

Dette var en rigtigt fint sted - hotel er i top samt perfekt lokationen - ret over for hovedbanegården .... og ikke det mindste støj. Fine rum samt senge etc. var perfekt med 60 tommer TV. Morgenmaden var udsøgt - alt var der og rigtigt fin service fra alt personalle. Skulle man ønske noget var det vel noget andet end 50 kanaler med Tysk ..... rigtigt fint hvis det var muligt at caste til TV eller komme til HDMI indgangen .... samt størrelsen på selve toilettet var lavet for kinesere ....

The room had very little light (1 lamp and complete darkness over desk). Service was weak. Reception, housekeeping and room service phone lines would go unanswered. Service at the restaurant was lacking. Omlette server seemed to disdain scrambling the egg. WiFi was horrible.

It was a nice hotel for the most part, but with some issues. The room was quiet dark with a lack of both natural light (we had a garden facing room that faced a small and claustrophobic feeling inner court, not a real garden and no sunlight coming in) and only two very dim lamps in the room. The bathroom was very nice with a big walk-in shower. Service was also a bit lacking. Our room was not cleaned until well in the late afternoon every day and on two days we had to complain to finally get someone to come clean the room. Breakfasts was also nice but the dining room gets very crowded and the tables are very close together. Lastly, nice pool and decent gym.

The hotel is well positioned just far enough from the old town and right over the road from the central station. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. We were on the road side and even with the hustle and bustle of the street below it was quiet with the window closed. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and very friendly staff throughout the hotel.

The executive room was great, but very slow wifi and very poor set up for electronic. Just two usb ports on the clock and everything else is reach down behind tables to plug an adapter into the wall sockets.

The hotel and amenities overall is okay but the Checked in experience is a nightmare. We arrived early so we did the checkin procedures at 1:30pm and were told that we just have to collect the keys after 3pm. We were back to the hotel around 3:30pm and saw the super long queue waiting to check in. So I asked on the staff with name initials A. L. T. and was told to queue all over again to just get the room keys. We were like so what s the point of all the checked in procedures? One man asked the same question that I did but he then got his room keys later on after I was told to queue again. Lucky that I met the staff who helped me with the check in and he was so nice to ask someone at back office to log in the system to get the room keys for us. Yet, one of the rooms was still not ready and end up we have to queue up again for get the key for the remaining room an hour later. Queuing for three times and an hour in total is not a pleasant experience to start with. More importantly, we feel that we were treated not the same by one of the staffs and there is obsiously inconsistency across the hotel in the checkin procedures. This is simply unprofessional and unfair to me after all the hotels I have visited from all over the world. Yet, staff the bar and restaurant are very nice and other staff at reception have been helpful. Hooe this review will be useful for customers who are looking for a smooth check in experience.

We booked four rooms and informed hotel that due to the escalating war situation and cancellations, we cant check-in on all four rooms. Our brother is flying out from Zurich and cant make it to Munich. We informed way before check-in - but the hotel stuck to the inflexible cancellation policy and charged us for the entire room. A WAR IS NOT A NORMAL SITUATION. AIRSPACES CLOSING IS NOT NORMAL and all good hotels in the world understand this and adjust. Yet Marriott which is such a big name decided to charge us anyway. We had a similar situation at a Hyatt hotel in Japan, when earthquakes were reported and we were scared to go in that area. The hotel was nice enough to understand its not normal situation and refunded us the money. Thats why I prefer IHG - they have way better service than Marriott

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage, aber bereits beim Einchecken war das Personal überfordert. Das gebuchte Zimmer sei nicht verfügbar, es wurde genuschelt und getuschelt. Meine Handynummer wurde notiert und man versprach einen Rückruf, sobald ein passendes Zimmer fertig ist. Wir sind also in der Stadt unterwegs und kehren um 17 Uhr zurück. Kein Anruf. Check-in muss wiederholt werden und Kreditkarte nochmal eingelesen. Auf die Frage, ob es denn jetzt das richtige Zimmer sei, wird wieder genuschelt. Wir hätten ein Upgrade erhalten. Nach Sichtung des Zimmers war dies nicht so. Zimmer entsprach der gebuchten Kategorie. Zimmer sind sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Allerdings hatte das Bad so seine Tücken. Warmes Wasser kam nur ab und zu. Vor allem unangenehm, wenn man unter der Dusche steht. Dann waren auch noch die Shampoospender und Duschgel leer, was die Situation nicht einfacher machte. Ein Anruf bei der Rezeption gelang nicht, weil der Akku am Zimmertelefon kaputt war…..Für ein Hotel in der Klasse ein echtes Armutszeugnis. Frühstück gab es bis 11, wir waren zwischen 10 und 10.15 Uhr dort. Weißwürste gab es, aber keine Brezeln mehr. Es wurden auch keine mehr aufgefüllt. Kaffeetassen am Automaten waren Mangelware und wurden nur in sehr kleinen Mengen auf Anfrage aus der Küche gebracht. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage, was man leider vom Service nicht behaupten kann. Schade.

Location good. Swimming pool was nice. Convenient for travel around Munich and Bavaria. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We had booked the stay in January and at the last minute we had to cancel due to a family emergency. The hotel very kindly gave us our money back even though the booking was non refundable. This is why we rebooked the same hotel for September.

We did not have a good experience. We reached out in advance many days before to request two rooms with connecting doors, as we have small children. Hotel said they would do everything possible to accommodate that. When we arrived, not only we dis not get connecting rooms, but the two rooms were far away from each other. Staff did nothing to solve our problem, only saying that the hotel was full. They promised to change us to new rooms as soon as possible, but never even cared to reach out to us again. So would not recommend staying there if you have children, as the hotel does not care to you

The location to train station is a good option if you are moving by rail. If you are driving location I would not recommend. The area around is not the best move just two blocks closer to the old town the area gets much nicer.

Das Le Méridien ist sehr gut gelegen, ganz in der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof. Zur Innenstadt sind es knapp 15 Minuten zu Fuss. Das Hotelzimmer ist genug gross und bietet soweit alles was ein Hotelzimmer benötigt. Die Dusche ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig und angenehm. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über einen Indoor-Pool, diesen empfanden wir als relativ kühl. Preislich sicherlich nicht ganz günstig, aber allgemein ein gutes Stadthotel, würde ich wieder buchen.

Counter is slow for checking in and out. Staff was awesome and very helpful! Entry doors to the hotel are not good/easy to get in or out. Breakfast is WAY too expensive and not feasible for families. This was a one night stay because we had a morning train and I loved it! Best gym of the trip, amazing staff and great rooms and restaurants/bar. They even have a nice pool! A bit far from the old town but perfect for trains. I had 8 people and it was great to have a wonderful breakfast (seriously the food here is amazing) and walk across the street
