Munich Marriott Hotel

Great hotel. Pool and spa is great. Wish the restaurant was open. Quiet area, a couple of playgrounds in walking distance and quick walk to the u Bahn.

parking was ridiculously expensive in comparison to all the other hotels we stayed at. the room was very small with almost no space to open up the luggage.

Dårlig service ved check ind og meget lidt serviceminded personale i reception og bar. SPA var lukket og kun begrænset opvarmning af sauna/dampbad

Das Zimmer war sauber und in Ordnung, doch leider ist der Wellnessbereich nicht zu empfehlen. Binnen weniger Minuten ging zwei mal der Alarm los, sodass an Entspannung nicht zu denken war.

Great location next to underground. great staff, always willing to help (Kudos to Maksym, the barman - my daughter broke her glass by accident - he came with a smile and new lemonade). The swimming a bit small for the size of the hotel, can be busy/overcrowded Fantastic breakfast, great bed/ room

We loved our stay and it is a perfect hotel for a family. Good rooms, excellent service, excellent breakfast, clean swimming pool and sauna. Close to public transport but also free parking on the street if you have rented a car. My kids will however tell you that their favourite thing about the hotel is the table football near the lift - we had so much fun playing!

Umkleiden im Schwimmbad und in der Sauna wurden umgebaut.

Nice hotel close to the Metro and by the Lufthansa bus to the airport. Room was comfortable for two adults and you child with separate bed. Pool is nice with hot tub and separate sauna. Breakfast buffet was very good!

Spa Bereich war zu Kalt.

I love staying here. the ambience is great, the rooms are good.. breakfast is great just time it right... the winning point is the pool and sauna...lovely. All good.

Asked several times to clean room but it wasn’t serviced during our entire stay

I did not get to try the breakfast. But the hotel was super clean the staff was very friendly, room was quiet, I would definitely go back.

During the checkin we requested a crib, they told us it will be sent to our room shortly. After 30 min it came, but it had dirty linen. We took a picture of it and showed it to someone at the front desk who apologized and agreed to send us new crib linen. The next morning, we requested two bathrobes and one of them came wet. We asked the housekeeper to exchange it and he said he will bring us a new one, but never came. Briefly, the hotel service needs to be improved.

Fabulous service, cleanliness & food

Marriott hotel was very clean and convenient for our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful with advise and directions. The downside was that we found the beds very hard and uncomfortable and the sheets were not changed on our 5 day stay. It is also very noisy on a night time and you can hear everything on the corridor which disturbed our sleep further

Reception is understaffed and very slow, bed sheets weren't very clean, limited amounts of soap and rats ran wild on the roof at night

The room was very spacious and modern. Walkable to the train station which we used extensively. Had a wonderful free breakfast with a large variety of foods to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had taxis just outside the door if you wanted to use them. Property and rooms are very clean.

Room were not made and service staff were either disnoest or do not know what there jobs are. Rest was all ok. Cleaning is big part of staying in hotel. Not having this is basic but crtical service does not reflect good on a hotel

Hotel com ar condicionado ruim. Muito calor no quarto pra dormir. Cafe da manha excelente, banheiro bom, afastado do centro , mas muito próximo a estaçao de metro e bem rápido para o centro. Bom atendimento dos funcionários. A cama de casal é bem pequena, sugiro escolher algum quarto com a cama king size. Em resumo: hotel bom com ar condicionado ruim.

The hotel check in was efficient. The rooms were small but comfortable and well anointed. The shower was a bit narrow and the drain was blocked. Attempting to take a shower inevitably created a large puddle of soapy water at the bottom of the shower.

I enjoyed the property and cleanliness. Wish they had AC.

Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer nach hinten zur lauten Straße- es war sehr laut und außerdem mit Daunendecke viel zu warm, so dass wir leider kaum schlafen konnten, was sehr schade war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Bruyant + douche brûlante/froide Ce n’était malheureusement pas la meilleure expérience pour notre famille. A l’arrivée, on nous confie la chambre 520, juste à côté d’un ascenseur. Par expérience, je sais que c’est un problème, le bruit des autres clients peut être gênant au petit matin. Je demande s’il reste d’autres chambres, on me répond que non, et que de toutes façon, à cause de l’architecture du bâtiment, les chambres triples sont toutes situées aux abords des ascenseurs. Ok, pas de problème. Après un voyage de 700km en voiture, et sous le neige, rien de tel qu’une bonne douche pour se détendre. 1er problème. Min fils m’appelle en criant, « l’eau est devenue brûlante toute seule ». J’en fais la désagréable expérience après lui. Une fois la température choisie sur le robinet, elle descend toute seule jusqu’à tiède-froid, puis remonte brutalement jusqu’à devenir brûlante au point de ne pouvoir rester sous l’eau. Génial !! 2 eme problème: froid toute la nuit. J’ai fini par mettre des chaussettes et une polaire pour être bien. 3eme problème: le bruit: 5:30, 6:00,… ça défile avec des clients sur le départ qui vous donnent l’impression d’être dans la chambre. De plus, la lumière du couloir général passe sous la porte d’entrée de la chambre.. Bref, pour le confort, on oubliera le Mariott de Munich. J’en ai parlé le matin à la réception: « on va s’en occuper » Petit déjeuner top Parking avec borne (0.80€ /kWh) Pensez à débrancher votre VE une fois chargé, sinon, 4cts/min

Staff is not friendly

Problems at checkin with my card charged/reserved 5x the normal deposit, which is still unresovled. Other than that, great hotel.

We had a great 5-night stay at the Marriott Munich! We arrived late in the evening and the room we had booked was no longer available, but Aree and Samantha did a wonderful job looking after us, getting us the perfect room and complimentary breakfasts for the entire stay. The facilities, indoor pool, restaurants, and services are all top notch. The front desk staff was knowledgable and friendly, advising us on everything from U-Bahn tickets to umbrella rentals to cab rides to the airport. Even before we arrived, Elsabeth had organized a steamer for us so we could treat bridemaids dresses for a wedding after a long flight from America. Highly recommend!

Marriott city west a lot better , hotel ,service , etc At Marriott Munich , you feel that you bother people at the reception, particularly… At the bar we ordered a hamburger , we were the first customers… people arrived after , busy , every one ate , drank and paid , and we were still waiting for our food .. we canceled , nothing to cancel they closed the kitchen… we didn’t eat at all , more than one hour wanting before canceling …

Sehr schlecht ....beim Check In unsere Reservierung nicht gefunden . Auch nach mehrmaligen suchen nicht . Beim Check Out ELEND lange.

Great hotel in prime quiet tech spot

Nice hotel away from the business of the city center. Few options near the hotel. However there is a U-bahn station a short walk away.

Vlak bij de metro (nog geen 5 minuten wandelen). Wel in de stad maar zonder de drukte van de stad.

This hotel is conveniently located for getting around. Can easily take train to the Munich Central or go to the airport. Near by parks, BMW museum

Odalar ve genel alanlar temiz, kahvaltısı çok çeşitli ve lezzetliydi.Havalimanından otele lufthansa express bus ile 25 dkda geldik. Merkeze ulaşım ubahn ile çok kolay oldu.

Great hotel, with friendly staff. Location perfect for business travel. Taxi required to reach key tourist points of interest.

Ottimo hotel!!!!vicino alla metropolitana Nordfriedhof a 5 min a piedi!!!! in 6 fermate si arriva a Marienplatz in poco tempo e senza nessun cambio!!! Consiglio a Tutti 👍👍👍

Good hotel overall and the service was also good. Breakfast was great with a wide selection. However, there is only 1 restaurant on-site (Champions), which is actually pretty good, but it's also open to the public and so can get pretty busy. The main issue with only 1 restaurant on-site is that the hotel is located in a quiet area with nothing really within walking distance (i think there's a small restaurant near the underground station, but that's it). The underground station is a 5 minute walk away which is great and it's a direct train straight into the city centre which is really convenient.

The hotel was amazing. The breakfast had so many options, both made to order and pre-made. It had something for everyone and more. Our room was clean and quiet and a good location to do some sight-seeing

Frühstück hätte besser sein können, die Qualität der Speisen war nicht eines 4 Sterne Hotels.

I was glad that the hotel was near the train station and also the Lufthansa express shuttle to the airport. The breakfasts were awesome.

Breakfast was good but the food on room service and in the lobby was poor. Bed comfort and the sofa were horrible. Smoking people around make the hotel interior feels not want to come back.
