I wanted a bit more space for my 4 night's stay in Munich and I booked a triple room with the description: • City view • 237 sq ft • Sleeps 3 • 1 Double Bed and 1 Twin Bed • Free WiFi • Electric kettle • Safe • Electric kettle I was given a Twin room with three single beds. The room I was given is not 237 sq ft and it was not clean daily. There are no safe and no electric kettle in the room. I tried multiple times and multiple days talking to the front desk about the fact that I was given the wrong room. First, they told me they will change it the next day and they did not. Then, they refused to change my room and just said that they have no room to change. Regarding the missing safe and electric kettle in the room, the answer from front desk was you can use the electric kettle here!!! Apparently, what they advertise has nothing to do with what they offer to the customers. The only thing that they are willing to do for me is to offer me a free breakfast. This is an offer I wasn’t able to take as I am leaving Munich the following morning before the breakfast room opens. I am extremely disappointed with the way the staff of this hotel operate. I do not expect special treatment as I just wanted the room I paid for. I booked hotel rooms with Hotel.com for many years and this is the first time that I have encountered such a dishonest hotel operator. I hope that Hotel.com will do some quality checks on the hotels listed on their website as it is in their interest to do so.
