Pro: •\tSuper zentral –einen Steinwurf von der Haltestelle des Lufthansa-Express, und direkt am Hbf •\tSpartanische Einrichtung – und entsprechend günstig. •\tSehr freundliches, unkompliziertes und schnell arbeitende Rezeption Contra: •\t„Fitnessraum“ hatte letztlich nur einen Stepper und einen Hometrainer (Laufband war defekt.) •\tMorgens unterhielten sich zwei Reinigungsdamen über längere Zeit laut auf dem Flur. •\tNicht sonderlich ruhig, allerdings trotz leichten Schlafs noch ok. Fazit: Ideal, wenn man v. a. eine zentrale Unterkunft ohne Schickschnack sucht, und tagsüber ohnehin unterwegs ist. Ich war schon zweimal da, und komme sicherlich gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof. Somit sehr gut gelegen, allerdings keine öffentlichen Parkplätze. Eigene Parkmöglichkeit am Hotel leider sehr teuer. Fußläufig vieles zu erreichen, unter anderem ein sehr schöner Biergarten. Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise okay. Betten bequem, aber die Einrichtung insgesamt schon sehr abgewohnt und nicht mehr zeitgemäß eingerichtet. Den kostenlosen Kaffee haben wir leider nicht gefunden.

Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und flexibel, Danke dafür. Das Zimmer war für 4 Personen etwas klein, zweckmässig eingerichtet aber sehr sauber. Die Betten sind unserer Meinung nach sehr weich, dass muss aber jeder Gast für sich selber beurteilen. Den Parkplatz muss man separat bezahlen (sollte in der Buchung bitte mit angegeben). Kurz um, für uns hat alles gepasst für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

We arrive early so we use luggage storage service, excellent, we had breakfast there and then came back at noon for check-in, room was excellent and as we asked for. At check-out we use the storage again, everything was excellent

Nice hotel, great location in the centre of Munich, opposite the central station. For anyone driving the parking at the hotel is very convenient, and reasonably priced for being so central. I visit Munich on a regular basis and will definitely be back. Another plus is all staff were super friendly and helpful to me and my family.

A short walk from the city centre and very close to the train station making it a great place to stay. Staff was super friendly and we were able to leave our luggage safely in the hotel when we arrived before our check in time. Room was clean, tidy and accessible and overall a very great experience!!

Wir sind viel unterwegs und sicherlich nicht übermäßig anspruchsvoll...aber das war ekelhaft...im ersten Zimmer war kein Strom, im zweiten waren die Gardinen zerschlitzt, das Bettlaken fleckig und löchrig, Haare am Handtuch und übers Bett krabbelte zum Abschluss noch eine Bettwanze. Geht alles überhaupt nicht, auch nicht nur als Zwischenübernachtung.

Für Übernachtungen perfekt, direkt am Hauptbahnhof, somit gute Erreichbarkeit zu Zug, U - und S Bahn. Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber, nur die Dusche ist sehr eng und der Duschkopf hält nicht in der Vorrichtung.

Leider lange schwarze Haare in der Dusche und Schimmel an der Wand. Die Dame von der Rezeption darauf angesprochen, dass man dies gerne zeigen würde bevor man die Rezension abgibt. Folgend rief diese genervt ihre Vorgesetzte unter anderem mit den Worten: „….der Gast macht Probleme“ an, während ich 3 Meter weiter stand. Die Vorgesetzte wiederum war sehr nett und herzlich. Hatte die Mängel gezeigt, aber da ich ohnehin nur 1,5 Tage dort war, hatte ich auch auf einen Zimmertausch oder etwas zu essen vom Buffet verzichtet. Mein Zimmer war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen (zum Beispiel war der Großteil des Lacks an einem Heizkörper abgeblättert).

Munich stopover on the way to the Tirol. The Amba is a convenient across the street from the train station option. The sink fixture was broken, one shower door in the cramped plastic shower was broken off and not replaced and the cleanliness was dubious. I thought, oh well, it’s a train station hotel until I discovered on our way back thru Munich the place next door is a comparative palace for 20% less per night.

A nice, clean budget hotel across the road from the main railway station. The room, although a bit small, was clean. The bedding & towels were changed every day. The hotel was perfect for our needs, we usually left the hotel at 9.30am & didn't return until 10pm, so we didn't require any frills. Would definitely stay there agin.

The hotel is old with small rooms that have no A/C and with hot weather, it was unbearable. We were forced to open the windows and then you get the noises from outside in addition to the party noise from the inside. The night guard did not care to intervene. A piece of dirty underwear was greeting us when opening the bathroom. Not a big deal for the manager though so I assume cleaning is not a top priority. The location is very tempting since close to the train station, but try to avoid this one. Also pricey for what is given.

Das Hotel hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Das Personal war freundlich und die Sauberkeit O.K. Die Großbaustelle am Münchener Hbf. stört die Nachtruhe aber rücksichtslos. Ferner war der TV empfang miserabel, was wohl bekannt ist und an der Antenne liegt, die aber niemand repariert. Das WLAN war so langsam, dass auch dort selbst in schlechtester Auflösung ein Streaming der Mediathek mitunter nicht möglich war. Frühstück im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hingegen gut.

10/10 for the location if you plan on using the train often. I did day trips almost every day, and from my room to sitting on the train took less than 5 minutes. Also very convenient for the Lufthansa Express bus to/from the airport. My room was small and very small shower but it had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. No AC in the room but they provided a good fan.

A very basic hotel. Dated establishment fairly clean. It didn't advertise amenities like air conditioning or a refrigerator but with temperatures in the mid 90's I came to regret my choice. A small 12" fan did little to increase comfort. The internet didn't work or the phone. With so little to offer to guests, they need to get everything right. They fell short.

Clean room. Very small. No AC. Was very hot. Facing the main station so very noisy. And we couldn't close the windows as there was no AC. This was a bait and switch. We ordered a couple room and got 2 single beds. Staff looked friendly but said they have no other rooms to change for us. They offered no compensation. They did offer a refund while chuckled if you want to find another place (this was 10 pm).

Great room! The only problem was the shower was missing one of its doors, so it couldn’t close and was half open. This made it very hard to shower without getting water everywhere in the bathroom, but you can do it if you’re very careful lol. Besides that, the room was awesome. Perfect in every other way. I would give it 5 stars, if the shower was fixed.

The location was great, close to train station and in easy walking distance of Octoberfest. The people at the desk not really pleasant. If you want a coffee to go at the hotel which the hotel says is one of their perks, make sure to ask-they didn’t offer. Overall a nice stay for a day or two.

Prime location, opposite the hauptbahnhof and 15 min walk to the bus station. The Lufthansa Express bus station is near the hotel. Reception staff were very helpful and polite.

The hotel is very convenient to the Hauptbanhof, yet it was quiet at night, so sleep well. The people at the front desk were very accomplished, helpful, and polite. The hotel offers a very good start to the morning at the buffet breakfast for a reasonable fee. My room was clean and overlooked an open area between other buildings which allowed a good amount of light into the room. Also, the hotel is a 15-minute walk to the Marienplatz. (A pedestrian area near to the Fraenkische, Glockenspiel and the Hofbrauhaus.) There are plenty of restaurant's in the immediate area as well as those in the Marienplatz. My 5 night stay was most pleasant!

Really liked the location; right across the street from the main train station and reasonable walk distance for sight seeing. Munich is not a city for later-night strolling but fine during the day. Older facility is a bit worn but does have a small elevator (one). Breakfast buffet is outstanding and very reasonably priced for major downtown area. It’s not the Ritz but it suited us just fine.

Super convenient to central station and walking distance to Karlsplatz, Clean hotel and priced well. Lufthansa shuttle bus to airport and train to airport steps away from door. Train station neighborhood - so there is noise and traffic at night. I would stay again for the price and location.

Bra läge mittemot stationen, trevligt bemötande. Litet men väldisponerat rum med två smala sängar, handfat i hallen utanför toaletten (praktiskt när man är två!), liten toalett med dusch. Fungerade utmärkt för en övernattning eller två. Klart prisvärt! Utanför vårt rum mot gatan hördes spårvagnarna genom fönstret, kanske störande för den som är känslig för ljud.

Good value for money. Sauber. Design natürlich etwas veraltet, aber immerhin angenhem genug. Die Lage direkt vor dem Bahnhof (Nebeneingang) war für meine Bahnreise richtig hilfreich. Mein einziges Problem war der (leider vorhersehbare) Mangel an Alternativen für Allergiker/Veganer beim Frühstück. (Ich habe mich darauf vorbereitet, und trotzdem wäre es schön gewesen, beim Frühstück mehr essen zu können). Soyamilch und eine glutenfreie Option wären nicht schwer, einzurichten. Ein Bewusstsein dafür wäre schön.

O hotel é super bem situado e ótimo para quem está em transito. O quarto é pequeno, desconfortável se for ficar vários dias. Ficamos somente um para pegar um onibus e foi perfeito. Café da manhã muito bom com itens regionais. Fica na frente da estação de trem, a 5 mnt a pé da estação de onibus e muito perto do centro.

Die Ablage in der Duschkabine kaputt. Kein Wasser im Zimmer, was normalerweise ein Standard ist. Im Hotel kkein Getränkeautomat vorhanden. Das Bett müsste einne Comforthöhe haben. Die Matrazen sind zu weich. Die Kaffeemaschine beim Früschtück an beiden Tagen kaputt.

Good hotel in a great location for Oktoberfest. I went not really knowing what to expect but it was well priced in what is a crazy few weeks to try and get accommodation at a decent price.... Comfortable, clean, basic and a little dated but couldn't fault it.....breakfast was a bonus and a decent continental selection....

Check-in -bzw.Out war freundlich und problemlos, Zimmer gemütlich, Dusche etwas, eng, Föhn u. Safe vorhanden. Es war sauber und das Bett war bequem. Trotz Bahnhof gegenüber war es nicht laut. Frühstücksbuffet (kalt und warm) war für den Preis gut und ausreichend. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Tram-Haltestelle und der Bahnhof sind in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Für einen 2-tägigen Aufenthalt mit leichtem Gepäck nur zum Schlafen ist das Hotel wegen der tollen Lage ideal. Ich würde das Hotel sicherlich, auch aufgrund des sehr guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnisses, jederzeit wieder buchen.
