This hotel is conveniently situated close to the railway station. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the bathroom excellent with a powerful shower, and despite the central location it was quiet and cool. The breakfast is very good and the staff friendly and helpful. My husband used the sauna which was well maintained and relaxing

The hotel is located between the train statin and the old town. Lower floors can be very noisy - close to a major tram stop. The rooms were a little gray and dark. Make sure to ask for a quiet room on a higher floor. Breakfast is OK - but nothing special. The onsite restaurant has very limited options.

We were early and they checked our luggage. Upon return at 2 our room was still not ready. I asked if we could wait somewhere. "Sure, sit anywhere. Try our restaurant." We found the only 2 chairs in the lobby which were also in sight line of the desk. I expected them to come tell us when the room was ready. No. I had to go ask at 3 and they acted put out. Staff was snooty. I picked the hotel for its history and decor, art deco, but was disappointed.
