We stayed in the hotel for three nights. It was a family trip. The infrastructure of the hotel is great. It is situated on a hilltop. This provides room for great sunset views and some breeze when it is windy. But reaching the rooms requires a shuttle. The hotel did provide good shuttle service.

I don’t know why you have to pay B300. to play on the tennis court I was told it’s to do with maintenance of the court There are 2 pools , gym, spars , sauna which I’m sure would cost a lot more but there are free..

First of all, my deepest apologies because the Check-In review was submitted incorrectly with a poor score. Unfortunately, we couldnt find a way to revise it. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in lately. The whole experience is wonderful; from the time you check-in, the rooms, the in-room service, Spa...THE SHUTTLE service!! They thought of everything to make it an enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The property offers plenty of amenities — from spacious pools and a relaxing spa. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and everything was clean and well maintained. The property and staff were exceptional. The only downside of the property is if you are disabled in anyway the property is very steep . Despite the shuttle cars driving you up the hill the property has so many stairs and no lifts in its buildings.

Your pools are good. We enjoyed Breakfast every morning. Although It is not responsible for you, the next hotel's party was so noisy at night even though our room's window were complemently close. And, whole room was clean. If it is possible, you might clean every corner, especially the washroom. For my stay, it was so comfortable and relax. The hotel staffs are very kind and polite. The fruit basket was tasty and fresh.

The hotel is on a cliff so everything is up and down multiple stairs. The room was very musty and moldy. I got a lung infection from staying there. Service was poor. Impossible to get towels or assistance.

Recently stayed at diamond cliff the room has bugs crawling all over the wall, end tables, and around 20 on our blanket. We notified hotel staff and showed the videos we had made . they came to sweep the room and spray a bottle of insecticide that triggered my partners asthma . We asked to move but were told there are no rooms available and the only compensation we received from hotel management was two Coke Zero cans . Quite insulting and sad on their part considering this is a “5 star” resort. Will never return .

Noce enough hotel bit disgustingly filthy. We arroved to be told we were upgraded. The room had an old hair grip in the shower and razor under the bed. Told rwcwption who couldnt be less interested. Pool areas dirty. We didnt get any clean towels for 2 days . Certainly not a luxurious resort

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The views are amazing if you get an ocean view. It’s as close to the ocean as possible and there are several nice restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful pools and yummy breakfast buffet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only two dislikes: 1) Room service food is not good and is quite expensive. 2) When you charge items to your room, any tip will go to the hotel rather than to the actual person who served you - very inconvenient and a little dishonest.

Diamond cliff exceeded expectations. The sea facing balcony room was worth the upgrade, beautiful views. Breakfast wasn’t the best but still ok, the only complaint I would have was the shower, which constantly turned from cold to scalding hot … All in all, my partner and I loved the stay and would recommend to anyone!

The room was in the front near the road where you can hear everything. And the taxis at night are vlasting music. Also got a call at 10pm regarding their restaurant closing, but the call woke me up from a dead sleep. There are coupons for everything and the 'all inclusive' doesnt include a lot of items. It just made the whole stay feel cheap and not like a 5 star hotel.

Second time staying at Diamond Cliff but this time in a two bedroom villa (2 adults & 2 older kids) for New Years - the villa was stunning, very spacious with amazing views of the sea & surrounds, a private pool & sauna! Staff were helpful & friendly. Only complaint was that it took ages to get running hot water - had to let it run for at least 10 minutes which we weren't aware of initially so had a few cold showers! It was peak season so the pool areas were busy (particularly the kids pool) so not many sunbeds available but we spent most the time at our villa anyway, breakfast buffet also got very busy on a couple of mornings (not enough tables available).

Extremely outdated hotel. There is absolutely nothing in this hotel that may qualify it as a 5 star. Old furniture and towels, terrible moldy smell( smell like a very cheap motel). The hotel advertised as on the beach. You have to walk 15 min along the very busy street partially without a sidewalk to get to the beach. Very dangerous. There are many better hotels with less stars right across the beach.

Very poor hotel for the standards you expect - terrible WIFI, plug sockets not working, staff not very attentive in particular bell boys. Upon arrival we weren’t given a key card and were told someone would bring our luggage to us… 45 minutes later reception phoned to tell us we’d left our luggage in reception. Overall disappointing hotel. Breakfast is very overcrowded - no where near enough tables for the amount of people staying at the hotel. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Hello, We stayed at the villa (changed 2) for 7 nights. Pros: - villa design amazing, view of ocean incredible (for some villas), - room service food quality great. Cons: - both villas are in a terrible state , termites in more than one location. - Water leaks inside the villa - to reach the villa you need to change 2 buggies and go up stairs - if you call 0 rarely does someone answers - staff (with the exception of a few) are unfriendly and feels like a factory production line. Just want you get you out of the reception or hang-up as quickly as possible - pity such an amazing property run by this management Thanks E

The property and the service were amazing - we had some confusion during check-in about our "all inclusive" and when I asked Expedia, their representative was the worst who did nothing but make me feel like a fool; however, the front desk supervisor at Diamond Cliff rectified Expedia's representative's inappropriateness and made our stay amazing.

The service was above expectations. My room got upgraded. There is a crossing guard to assist with leaving the resort to get to the beach. Breakfast was delicious. Truly enjoyed the stay!

Hotel was well kept and modern. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Only comment is there are a lot of steps across the property so be prepared for that. There is a shuttle but runs every 5-10 mins and can get filled up quickly and often.

I felt the service was very poor for many reasons. They were not accomodating for transportation from the airport. They did not attempt to help me get into my room even a little bit earlier than the rigid check-in time. I was traveling alone and had to sit for 5 hours to wait for the room. My coffee maker was broken. I would not stay here again. There are many other options in the area.

The hotel is on a cliff so you better be in shape to walk to your room but the hotel has a shuttle if you are not lol The property is well kept And the staff is wonderful The local beaches around are beautiful especially when the sun sets located directly across the hotel Also Plenty of restaurants across and around the hotel Patong beach is 5-10 min walk and Bangala rd walking street is only 200 TBHT a bit over 5 USD to the. Night life and malls. Overall the hotel is located in a quiet place but not far from all the action

Excellent resort. The seaview rooms are fantastic... gorgeous view. Patong beach , shopping, restaurants, massages, night life are all accessible by walk ( 15 Mins or so) ... or a very short Tuk Tuk ride.

An elegant hotel, at the quiet end of Patong Beach, within walking distance of the beach and main shops. A very grand and spacious lobby and 2 lovely pools, one with great sunset views. A variety of bars and restaurants, though we did only have breakfast there as we prefer street food markets in the evenings. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had an ocean view jacuzzi room which was lovely. Very spacious and elegant design. There was a small balcony with seating for 2. We thought it was worth the extra for this room. The hotel is set in a cliff so it is quite hilly and steep in parts but there is a shuttle bus constantly running from the lobby area to the upper areas. But still many steps so this would not be suitable for people with mobility problems. In all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Diamond cliff resort and spa is a high quality resort. The rooms are nice, the food is tasty and the pool areas are relaxing. It is a few minutes walk up a hill from Patong Beach- so if you want to be away from the hustle, but still get to the main strip you can easily. Note- there are a lot of stairs at the resort and your room may not be located close to the complementary shuttle

We paid an extra 250-ish dollars for the all-inclusive package, and unless you are big alcohol drinkers, it wasn’t very worth it. We felt as if we were eating off the kids’ meal every day and ended up just ordering other food rather than the included. The food package and unlimited drinks were also only available at one of the pools, which, if you have kids, was not as enjoyable, and if your room was located near the further pool, it would have been a long walk. Other than that, our suite was beautiful and very fairly priced. I just wish I knew not to waste the money on the all-inclusive.

We really aren’t the ones to leave reviews but this is our honest opinion as frequent travelers around the world. Firstly, we booked the “all inclusive package” which was a sham. We booked this resort based on the description of several restaurants. Upon check in, we were told that we are only able to eat at one restaurant, ocean view restaurant, and not others and we would have to pay extra to eat at the other restaurants at the resort. Secondly, there are multiple bars at the resort, again, we were told that we can only have drinks at ocean view bar. The all inclusive package doesn’t include everything and is VERY LIMITED to their house alcohol. Room service listed on their description is an extra charge and the “mini bar” and snacks listed on their website ISNT included in their all inclusive package and is for a charge. The restaurants uses one set menu for the 5 nights we were there and doesn’t rotate. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner menu is the same unless they have buffet which is random. The house cleaning would always provide one towel when there are two people in the room. We had to call almost every night for towels. You are given these coupons to carry around to show for dinner and lunch. If you don’t have it, you will need to go back and obtain it. Same with drinks as it is a coupon system and without it, you won’t be served. overall very disappointing stay. Customer service of staff could be better. Sam the trainee bartender was the only nice staff!

Great hotel but not young family friendly set on hillside terrain with no lifts leading to carrying prams or 2 toddlers up mutliple flights of stairs Staff were great. Breakfast was first class All inclusive needs to be across all hotel not just the one restaurant/pool bar

The property was very nice and the pool was wonderful with a swim up bar. Rooms were clean and the staff was attentive to details. Within a mile of all the action in Patong. One negative was no AC available for breakfast eating spot and main lobby so it was a little hot.

Villas were delighful-heaps of room, pool was lovely, nice water features and plenty of privacy. Staff were thoughtful, friendly and kind. Transport options were easily accessible. Day spa treatments were nice and easily available. Food at thai and japanese restaurants were great but oceanview restaurant was average and a bit disappointing. Coffee shop and Sky terrace were not serviced or open during our stay.
