Excellent staff. Small swimming pool.

The Mitsis Petit Palais Beach Hotel is a great hotel to stay in with nice friendly staff, and is in a good location close to the beach and peripheral to the more expensive old town area of Rhodes. The food we had form breakfast, and different themed dinners every evening was excellent, served with a good service, and certainly had a great choice to choose from. Only minor criticism would be that the outside pool area was a little bit small, and can easily get busy and filled up fast.

Lovely hotel in central position in Rhodes Town, enabling easy walking and shopping options. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the manager was very hands on, keeping an eye on everything. The food on all inclusive was very good and varied and the pizzas were excellent. Drinks were great and never too much of a queue at the bars. The pool was smallish and cool and there’s limited sunbathing area, but we managed despite the usual reserving of sun beds and then people only turned up in the afternoon to use them. Really enjoyed our holiday here.

The property is a little tired e.g. cracked glass in the balcony door but it is clean. The photos of the pool are a little deceptive, it is a pool but hardly a swimming pool. The hotel ad on Expedia says ‘Sun & fun on the beach’ & has photos of sunbeds on the beach. Whilst the hotel is only 3 minutes walk to the beach the Petit Palais does not offer sunbeds on the beach. The ad also states that ‘active travellers can enjoy amenities, such as fitness classes’ but there were no fitness classes .. until we pushed & we’re told we could join yoga at the Grand. Anyway, enough of the negativity. The Petit Palais has a really lovely feel about it, it’s not so big that it’s impersonal. The dining was really good, with plenty of choice, & it’s great that you can pay small additional amounts to enjoy nice wines. Most of the staff were great but we want to say a very special thank you to Nikos who went out of his way to ensure we had a great holiday. And also a mention to Dimitris at the Grand who was just altogether lovely. Would we return? Most certainly yes if the package included access to sun beds on the beach.

Why not just put it out with the rest of the buffet? Our rooms were on the sixth floor, one of us had a great room and the other had a much smaller room with significantly less storage. This was not fair given that we both paid the same. We both had a bad smell in the room (drainage) and although we raised the complaint we are not sure if anything effective was done because the smell persisted and we had to keep the patio doors open when we were in to make it bearable. We both experienced no hot water around 50% of the time. This could be because our rooms were up on the sixth floor We enjoyed the pool, but you had to be there within five minutes of opening because all the sunbeds would be gone. The gym was basic, a little tired and in a windowless room downstairs – not ideal with limited ventilation so did not use it as we had hoped to. The hotel lists Pilates and yoga as being offered when we enquired about this we were told that that was not the case. There is a massive building site opposite hotel with work going on seven days a week from early till late. This should definitely have been made clear to us when booking because it meant that sitting out on the balcony was not always a pleasant experience. Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this hotel but unfortunately the facilities and some of the maintenance did not

A fantastic friendly little hotel. The staff are wonderful - especially Alex who runs the pool bar. Two beaches are within a stones throw. We chose the All Inclusive option which was excellent value. Evening entertainment was really good We loved every minute of our stay here

The hotel is well located close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town and historical museums etc. Be aware that the advertised yoga and Pilates takes place at the nearby Mitsis Grand, next to their outdoor pool. It is very close by, but it was enough to put me off going. Plus, I didn’t fancy doing a downward dog out in the open, in front of sunbathers. I was glad we chose half board, rather than all-inclusive. The pool area is lovely (although sunworshippers note that it doesn’t get the sun all day) but quite small and I wouldn’t have wanted to feel I had to hang about there all day to make use of the inclusive drinks and snacks. The staff were lovely and let us stay in the room until evening on our final day, because my daughter had been sick most of the week with some kind of tummy bug/food poisoning, and she still needed to be in bed most of the time. Food at breakfast and dinner was fresh and reasonably varied. Good quality for buffet style, with plenty of salads and fresh fruit.

Maten var fantastisk hele uka. Veldig hyggelige ansatte. Gode senger og reint overalt. Stort pluss at vi kunne ta så mange badehåndklær som vi ønsket. Byggeplass på utsiden, mye bråk og støv dagen lang.

Es war schrecklich, der tansfer sm flughafen hat nicht funktioniert, ich musste mir ein taxi um 30 euro nehmen, danach Ankunft Hotel. Zum entsetzten musste ich feststellen das eine riesen Baustelle gegenüber vom Hotel war, dder staub ist bis ins zimmer der strand war schmutzig und die liegen immer vergriffen, alles in sllem das essen nur für engliche gäste ausgerichtet

My first impression was a comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff and I want disappointed. The hotel and facilities were clean and comfortable and I was able to fully relax during my stay. The food was prepared to a high standard and the restaurant staff first rate I am already looking forward to returning next year

Mitsis Petit Palais is an exceptional hotel in a very good location.The staff was amazing,very friendly and helpful and always with a smile.The room and all the areas of the hotel were very clean.With the ''all inclusive'' vacation we had the opportunity to enjoy every day the rich breakfast and two excellent meals with a big variety of foods and beverages.The internet connection needs improvement. Many thanks to the hotel administration for the upgrade of our room to an excellent sea view room. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Otelin konumu oldukça iyi. Herşey dahil almıştık. Temiz ve çok güler yüzlü çalışanları olan bir otel. Nazik ve kibarlar. Biz dalgalı bir dönemde gitmiştik o nedenle denizden keyif alamadık ama araç kiralama hizmeti var içeride rahatlıkla alabilirsiniz. Resepsiyon hizmeti: çok iyi Yemek ve özellikle pizza: çok çok iyi :) Temizlik : daha iyi olabilir Konum: çok merkezi bir yer Deniz: direk çıktığınız yerde girmeyin biraz daha merkeze doğru gidin.

Have stayed at Mitsis petite palace before and had a lovely time. Unfortunately on this occassion I did not realise there was extensive building work opposite, therefore felt quite dusty in the air. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay. Food, rooms and location excellent. The cocktails did not seem as strong as before but I enjoyed trying them. It was lovely to see the same staff again, and they are a credit to the hotel.

This was our first stay in Rhodes and thoroughly enjoyed at the Mitsis Petit Palais. The staff were all very welcoming, the room was clean and roomy. We were booked in for half board. The meals were of a good standard and variety. Would certainly consider staying here again. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making it a great holiday.

The hotel is quite tired and in need of refurbishment. However, the staff were great, particularly Loizos on reception, who was incredibly polite and helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Thank you Loizos :)

The staff at this hotel are fantastic! Honestly they are the nicest most down to earth team at a hotel k have come across in Greece. The hotel itself is a bit old and run down but if you’re into retro vibes then this is it; but it is fine to sleep in. The food and location in the area is great and everything is super walkable. So if you’re okay with an average place to sleep in the heart of Rhodes then this is a good pick. If you’re more of a 5-star kind of person then look elsewhere.

La situation géographique à la pointe nord de Rhodes de l’établissement est idéale. Le personnel est également agréable. Par contre, les chambres sont mal insonorisées... La piscine est petite et des 18 heures en rentrant d’excursion, on ne trouve plus le soleil qui est caché par des immeubles! Enfin, le soir les repas sont variés mais dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de produit laitier (yaourt) au petit déjeuner!

Great hotel! Perfect location, close to the beach and in the city! Good beds! Extra door in the room is perfect! Music stops before bedtime. Very friendly staff! We are very thankful for the upgrade we’ve received! We’ve enjoyed the breakfast very much but the lunch and dinner were also very delicious!

What a wonderful experience at this hotel. Staff were polite, courteous, helpful and so obliging, nothing was any trouble. The room was so quiet and peaceful and the little things that added to our stay were so nice (wine, jams, cakes, fresh fruit). I can not fault this hotel at all and pleased to say that of all the places I have visited Mitsis was spot on from the minute of arrival to the minute we sadly had to leave, especially as you don't know what to expect, when check in late at night. The breakfasts were amazing and catered for every culinary taste in the book, including ice cream if you wanted. Thank you for making my holiday vacation a truly relaxing, no stress experience.

Food/restaurant did not cater well for gluten free with limited hot food options available and ‘dish’ labels/signs did not include info to let guests know what the GF options were; which meant the Chef had to come out of the kitchen and go through what the options were which seemed very inefficient. Majority of staff were friendly and hospitable however Andromachi on reception could do with some additional customer service training as she was not only rude to us, we witnessed her poor attitude to other guests as well during our stay. There is significant construction works going on opposite the hotel until end of summer 2026 which we were not advised about upon booking and the noise was disruptive during the day particularly if you like to go to the beach.

Friendly, helpful staff, in particular the ladies in reception, the porters and restaurant staff, Manwell and Clara were especially attentive and welcoming at breakfast times. There was a problem with the booking, I had booked the garden room at an increased cost, we arrived Monday evening and was allocated a room on the 6th floor and told there were no garden rooms available, after speaking to the reservation manager the next day we were offered to move to a sea view room on Wednesday, we were shown the room but it was a smaller room on the 7th floor with no lift access to that floor so I decided to stay on the 6th floor. At the pool bar Alex was nice enough but felt he had his favourite customers. The main barman inside was rude on my first day, I was explaining I wanted a small amount of alcohol, at this point I wasn’t sure if alcohol was measured or not in this region, I explained the measures in England and was told ‘you’re not in England now, I felt that was a rude and unnecessary response. Other than that our stay was good.

The staff in this hotel is excellent. They are friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed a very good stay and appreciated the upgrade and the late check out. The meals are healthy, varied, and presented beautifully. We would definitely return to this hotel.

The Mitsis Petit Palais Hotel is a truly lovely hotel to stay at whilst in Rhodes. It is a very clean & welcoming hotel & the front desk staff are amazing. They will help with absolutely everything, from taking bags to & from the rooms, to organising sightseeing tours, to checking guests in with their airlines & transfer services for their return trip. The buffet restaurant is fabulous. The selection of food at every mealtime is extensive & very tasty. The hotel is located only a short walk away from the Old Town & there is so much to see & do in the immediate vicinity. The local beaches are also fabulous. All in all, we had a brilliant stay at the Mitsis Petit Palais.

Liked: Friendliness of the staff was excellent. Didn't like: Only one barman in main bar when entertainment was in bar - too busy to serve e eryone.

A very nice modern hotel with awesome staff. The restaurant and pool were great. Close to the beach and stores makes it a perfect location. Cannot say anything bad about this place and would make it a stop over again the next time.

Great location with beach nearby and old town only a 15 minute walk away. Also near bar street but not to close as to hear it at night. Staff all very friendly and overall really enjoyed stay here

Very much a 3 * hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room is basic but very clean. The real disappointment was the food. Did all inclusive but only had breakfast due to trying dinner and it being mediocre. Pizza and salad was ok. Eating out is much better. The quality was much higher. Never managed to get a bed by the pool. Always busy.

The staff in this hotel is excellent. They are friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed a very good stay and appreciated the upgrade and the late check out. The meals are healthy, varied, and presented beautifully. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Séjour de 4 jours à Rhodes parfait. Hôtel impeccable. personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Nourriture très qualitative en pension complète. (Ex, plats grecs, spécialités locales, pizza excellentes cuitent au feu de bois) Très bien placé pour découvrir la ville et la vielle ville à pied. Plage attenante et piscine très agréable Je recommande à 100 pour cent.

Have stayed at Mitsis petite palace before and had a lovely time. Unfortunately on this occassion I did not realise there was extensive building work opposite, therefore felt quite dusty in the air. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay. Food, rooms and location excellent. The cocktails did not seem as strong as before but I enjoyed trying them. It was lovely to see the same staff again, and they are a credit to the hotel.
