Alot of history at the hotel, casino was nice, centrally located to old town, breakfast had a nice variety.

A lovely hotel and just a stone’s throw to the beach. Our breakfast was delicious every time. The staff, I have to say helped make our holiday. The breakfast and reception staff were like family - wonderful! We didn’t use the spa or the pool, to be honest no need to as we were so close to the beach nor did we use the casino. There is however, a lovely small bar behind the casino, but unfortunately you have to register with the casino and go through it to get to the bar - no biggie, but would have preferred to not to do that. An easy 10min walk to New Town and 15/20min to Old Town. The room itself was amazingly spacious! Very comfortable. All in all, a great stay, we were well looked after and wonderful and friendly staff.

I stayed here with my teenage son for 1 week. The hotel is absolutely wonderful! The room was big with the best bed! It got this old fashionable style. There were Korres toiletries in the room It smells wonderful! The breakfast was served outside and had everything we could wish for and more. The pool is in the hotelgarden and other guests can also stay there (they pay 10€ for a bed). It is open from 10-18. You get pooltowels in the reception or by the pool. It was never a problem to get sunbeds and this is luckily not the kind of place were guests can reserve beds early in the morning and not use them before lunch. There is staff who will put up the parasol. They play relaxed music all day and you can order drinks and food served at the sunbeds, it is also possible to eat, drink and relax in nice sofas. If you want to swim in the ocean, the beach is in front of the poolarea. There is a big casino at the hotel, but we didn’t go there. I belive it was quite popular. The restaurant at the hotel had nice food and drinks. We went to the spa/hamam the last day as we were leaving late. It is so nice. Recommended! All the staff was so nice and helpful. The only downside at this hotel is the terraces. They are tiny so you can just stand om them. It did not bother us though. This hotel is in the middle if the city, so do bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! So we will absolutely come back. A perfect hotel withe the best location, at the beach and in the city!

Pal aan het strand (strandbedden en cabanas tegen bijbetaling, maar met voorzieningen, water en safe box). En fijn zwembad met ligbedden en bar. Grenzend aan de goede beach bar met voldoende keuze in het menu etc. Op loopafstand van restaurants, winkeltjes en het centrum. En boven alles een super fijne service met fantastisch personeel.

We weren't greeted by the friendliest of staff members.. she was quite rude and blunt. She was also quite set on passing the blame onto us. The room/hotel was VERY dated - the pictures need updating. Bonus was that the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. We were due a free bottle of wine upon arrival due to my member status but had to ask twice for this. Good location - the pool was really great and the breakfast was lovely!

A long established hotel in a very good location, with quality service and friendly staff. However, the amenities (e.g. gym) were limited at the time of my stay as it was still early in the tourist season.

The hotel itself is spectacular- it has an old style decor, however very tasteful, comfortable and with all modern features. The room was huge (I was upgraded due to my hotels.com status) with a view of the beach. Food was delicious- from breakfast cooked to order to lunch in the pool restaurant and dinner room service. The hotel is perfectly located- 20 minute walk from the ferry port, 20 minutes drive to the airport, plenty of dining options nearby. The only slight criticism would go to pool bar staff- I spent 2 hours trying to be noticed/asked for an order.

This was our second time staying at this particular hotel. The amenities at the hotel are excellent. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. The included breakfast buffet is much better than other high-end hotels. We did not visit the casino. My family visited the spa, swimming pool, hotel restaurants and we were very pleased those. The ocean view from the rooms facing the sea is spectacular.

De accomodatie binnen was zeer goed. Ontvangst was netjes, kregen een drankje aangeboden. Kamer netjes alleen ontbrak een instructie voor het gebruik van de tv en muziekinstallatie. Niet kunnen gebruiken. Was ook niet echt nodig hoor, we hebben ons niet verveeld. Ronduit teleurstellend was dat het zwembad niet gebruikt kon worden. Verder ook geen mogelijkheden om het terras te gebruiken. Alles was (nog) opgeruimd? Alles kon buiten wel een goede opknapbeurt gebruiken. Verder was het personeel wisselend in de service, vooral tijdens het ontbijt. De ligging van het hotel is perfect. Je zit snel in het oude centrum en in de haven.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und konnten durch die motivierten netten Mitarbeiter (ob Poolbereich, Hotel oder Frühstücksservice) einen tollen Urlaub verbringen. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das kann bei so einem geschichtsträchtigen Gebäude schon mal passieren 😉. Das Frühstück war der Hammer und genau nach unserem Geschmack.

We very much enjoyed our stay, staff were attentive, the reception employees were all very efficient and the property was very clean. Well positioned for restaurants, beach and Rhodes Town attractions.

Staff was extremely helpful and very nice! Hotel was old and outdated.

Had a lovely time. The staff were great, the beach was right at your doorstep, the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was also really good. You can walk to the old town, plenty of bars and excellent places to eat nearby, no need to hire a car. You can hear the bars on the beachfront (because you are on the beachfront!) at night but didn't keep us awake, and the balcony is standing room only - but neither were a big deal.

We arrived to Rhodes Airport on the 14th Sept, 2022 but no one came to collect, we called The Grande Della Rose Hotel- explained our situation to a very angry man at reception, who said there was nothing in their system, and there was no such booking, when we had paid for 7nts stay with breakfast, it said transfers was included with the price! We think the problem was to do with Customers Support- where we sent an email stating, the Time and the date of arrival but for some reason, Hotel Grande Della Rose did not receive it...had tried to contact Hotel 4 times via Telephone but was not able to get through. We paid for taxi to this Hotel...taken to our room..some time later, we was given a Bottle of Sparkling Wine and 2 Bowls of Fruit; and a 3 course Meal, for the inconvenience that had occurred. To be fair and honest, we found All the Staff at this Hotel very pleasant and helpfull and went out of their way to make our Holiday stay, comfortable and pleasant. Special thank-you to Sofia, & her under-manger.. she was loverly)

I was given an early check in and a free upgrade. Even though I made last minute requests. As usual the staff were very friendly and very helpful. This is an excellent hotel and always my first choice whenever I stay on Rhodes

O hotel é sensacional, bem localizado, instalações excelentes, quarto espaçoso, belo banheiro, impecável café da manhã, mas o serviço é bem falho, para entrar no hotel de carro é um inferno, demorei quase 1/2 hora para que abrissem a cancela, a recepção também é bem confusa, mas vale

Had a lovely time. The staff were great, the beach was right at your doorstep, the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was also really good. You can walk to the old town, plenty of bars and excellent places to eat nearby, no need to hire a car. You can hear the bars on the beachfront (because you are on the beachfront!) at night but didn't keep us awake, and the balcony is standing room only - but neither were a big deal.

This is such a glamorous hotel in such a fantastic location; it is right next to the beach and just a few minutes away from the centre. The view from the room was truly beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend it.

Il mio è un gradito ritorno al Grande albergo delle Rose dopo tre anni. Non posso che confermare le mie ottime valutazioni dello scorso soggiorno. L Albergo è ottimamente posizionato (quando e stato costruito nel 1927 non potevano che scegliere la posizione migliore) ha camere ampie, la mia con una meravigliosa vista mare, arredamento classico in linea con il gusto dell hotel. Le camere sono relativamente poche visto che ampie parti dell albergo sono state adibite a Casinò. Ottimo il parcheggio della struttura e notevole il giardino che dà sul lungomare. Il personale è sempre gentile, attento e discreto. Dove a mio giudizio l albergo ha eccelso (anche rispetto al precedente soggiorno) è nel servizio colazione che è servita o in in patio in giardino vista mare o in uno splendido salone. La colazione viene ordinata da un ampio menu e quindi cucinata espressamente (ma nell attesa viene portata un alzata a vari ripiani con tantissimi assaggi... ) ottimo. Ma cio che ha reso speciale le nostre colazioni è stato il sevizio sempre elegante ma cordiale del personale ed in particolar modo di Costanza che ci ha consigliato ottimi piatti, ci ha sempre trovato il posto migliore e ci ha fatto sentire a casa con il suo ottimo italiano... Se devo trovare un difetto sicuramente lo individuerei nel bar della piscina dove in un posto splendido vengono serviti cocktail lungi dall essermi piaciuti. Spero di tornare presto a Rodi e al G A delle Rose.
