Magnifica. Salvo un pero… totalmente inaccesible. La entrada tiene una empinada escalera que-gracias a la amabilidad de todo el mundo- no tuve que subir con la maleta. Pero si eres una mujer mayor como yo… y al desayuno solo puede accederse -otra vez- por escaleras empinadas. Seguro que la pagina web lo advierte, pero yo la verdad es que no lo leí.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the ancient heart of Salamanca. The building itself is an historic building which has been repurposed tastefully as a hotel. The front of house staff are very friendly and helpful. One very small note of caution. The hotel's car park is very small and they don't take advance bookings. If you arrive significantly after check-in time it's unlikely you'll be able to park on-site. However, there serm to be other parking options relatively close by so really not a big problem.

I liked that it was near the important landmarks and there were good restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice, and they have special amenities for dogs. We took our teacup yorkie. I did not like the small restaurant they had.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent. It is relatively easy to access, and the parking is very convenient downstairs from the lobby level. Everything had been thought of. There was cold water available in the lobby. The reception staff noted (from my passport) that my birthday would occur during our stay and remembered to wish me a happy birthday on the day! There were glasses in the bedroom and also the bathroom. There were plenty of electrical outlets, and the wifi was easy. The view from the front room with balcony could not be beat, looking directly on the convent church. In short we were delighted with our 3-day stay in every way.

This is a lovely hotel. The front entrance however is not handicap accessible so be advised (there may be an entrance in the rear which is handicap accessible so I would check). The parking is in the rear of the hotel and a staff member parks your car--very, very nice.

Very attractive, comfortable, well-located and friendly hotel, great for exploring Salamanca. Our room had a lovely view, and it was easy to walk all over, then return to relax in a clean, modern room. Nothing was lacking, down to bottles of water for the road when we left.

Very nice hotel! I had the best view you can imagine from my room window -- none other than the Cathedral of Salamanca in all its splendor. This hotel is located at the heart of the historic downtown. Most places of interest and restaurants are within walking distance. I could not think of a better place to stay.

A beautiful building in a stunning location. Our room faced the convent and the view was wonderful. The room was large, well appointed and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good but sadly the tea and coffee arrangements weren’t that easy with him t water in a jug to make tea. Parking was expensive.

Renovated historic building. Nice size room and large, modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff. Was a bit warm in room and could not adjust thermostat below 18 C; however, opening window to let in cool air solved issue (somewhat noisy at times). With window closed, no street noise).

The hotel was located inside a castle, generally clean and tidy. The room was good enough for two people, though not very spacious. One thing which sounded odd to me was that there was no air conditioning in the room. The staff said the weather was not too hot, so the air conditioning system was shut down. We had to open the window for ventilation and occasionally it was a bit noisy. Overall, an above average hotel with good service.

Hotel was nice with a great location but they hit my nerve with a HUGE pet peeve of mine. When we showered the first day there the tub filled with water and would not drain to keep up with the shower water. This is disgusting but furthermore made the shower into and ice skating rink, we were sliding all over the shower and were lucky not to fall. I would let this pass if they fixed after being told of the problem after night one, but they did nothing and we had the same problem for the rest of our stay.

Ficamos em um quarto com vista para o Convento de San Esteban que foi excelente. Hospedagem excelente no geral, localização perfeita também. Faria apenas um comentário negativo: as portas de todos os quartos são de madeira e não têm um fechamento suave se você está saindo do quarto. Então, durante toda a manhã ouve-se barulhos bem altos de portas batendo, o que é bem desconfortável. Seria muito melhor se o hotel arrumasse todos as postas para que tenham um melhor fechamento por fora.

The property was modern, well kept up, clean, and within walking distance to the main downtown area. Although the property was great, the staff was SUPERIOR!! They were always so pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with any request. It was an incredible value for the money. I will definitely stay at NH when I return to Salamanca, and I will highly recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Excellent hotel on all fronts. Location is amazing, right smack bang in the middle of the old town. Staff were super helpful and very proactive in helping us with luggage, onward travel arrangements and amenities. Breakfast buffet is good, with lots of Spanish options fresh seasonal fruit and also more traditional breakfast fare. I do note that there was a small issue in our room that caused some inconvenience, but it was rectified quickly and professionally.

Loved this hotel - I’m on a Spanish road trip and this was the best. Great location for exploring the city. Lovely building. The staff were fantastic - I arrived early and they had my room ready, talked me through the map and answered questions. Spoke perfect English but were also patient with my Spanish. Room as advertised: I paid for the basic and it was well equipped, clean, safe, good bathroom. 10-15 minutes easy walk from the bus station. The bar was super for late evening drinks.

Very comfortable hotel within short walking distance of the city centre. A delightful experience. As with all NH Collection hotels we’ve stayed at, the staff are very helpful. Eva on the Reception Desk was a standout. So very thoughtful. She made our stay perfect.

NH Collection Salamanca is located few meters from Cathedral and Salamanca University in a very lively neighborhoods close to excellent restaurants. You can walk to most of the interest places at Salamanca. The Hotel is in the Palacio de Castellanos, room was comfortable and larger. The staff is very kind and willing to help.

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Wir konnten zu Fuss sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Das Hotel hat eine besondere Ausstrahlung, da es früher ein Herrschaftshaus war. Das Hotel verfügt über eine beschränkte Anzahl hoteleigener Parkplätze. Wir waren dankbar, dass das Parkieren uns abgenommen wurde.

Excellent location just a few steps from the cathedral, which we could even see from the window of our room. The hotel itself is in a beautiful old building, while the rooms are modern and comfortable. Parking was easy, as we just stopped right in front of the hotel and the staff parked for us while we checked in.

Good location.Surprised that guests think the breakfast is good as I found it poor-value compared to similar Spanish hotels.Interestingly front desk was more interested in selling breakfast than providing information.No replacement of room refreshments during the stay.Over priced compared to better hotels.
