The hotel was exceptionally clean and specious. The decor was comfortable, modern and elegant. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a large well equipped room as the property is being renovated. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pools that were set in attractive gardens and were always quiet. Both pools were big enough for a decent swim. The location was excellent being close to the MRT and many cheap eateries. I can't comment on the breakfasts or bar and other restaurants as I went out all the time. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff are beyond lovely and helped me with my heavy bags to my room. The room was so spacious, clean and the bathroom has a walk in shower. Toiletries included such as shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. Hotel also has a beautiful large outdoor swimming pool to relax by! Just a few minutes walk to Orchard MRT station which is handy. There is also a small 7/11 store close by too.

The hotel is mid refurbishment but there’s no mess and you are not disturbed by any noise or dirt ! The pool area is fabulous and in a country of high rise buildings this 2 storey colonial hotel is highly unusual Staff snd service excellent and nothing too much trouble Make sure you book a refurbished room Would definitely stay again

Initially the room booked was unavailable. Had to wait further 1.5 hours when insisted, and room found. Poor information on facilities. Main pool was a letdown as poorly maintained. Ran out of towels with only a note to call services but no phone to call, and no manned station or lifeguard. Housekeeping poor. Towels taken but not replaced. Cups not washed and hair dryer not returned to drawer. When I complained a man turned up at door insisting to come in to tidy but I didn’t want him to as I was alone and he stood there for a while with a rather unpleasant expression. Other staff though were excellent, Thomas at reception and Loges at concierge to mention a few.

It is a very nice hotel and I love it. This was the second time I stayed here. The cleaning seemed more incomplete than before. The glasses were not changed to new ones and the tea bag was refilled only after we contacted the hotel. This is a good hotel with fond memories and I would stay there again. We would be happy to see improvements.

The hotel is nestled around the quiet nature part of Orchard road and has a nice view of nature which blends well with the hotel surroundings. I love the out of the norm design of the building as well as the overall green achitectural features and ecletic displays! Room were comfortable with excellent soundproofing to get optimum sleep as well as full glass window views of the outdoors! Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeble and could offer much advice on activities around the vicinity. There is also a beautiful pool to lounge in! Excellent place for staycation and to relax from the bustle.

2 nights in the junior suite for a family wedding. Service is excellent. Hotel is heritage so some parts look dated, lift is small. The junior suite is refurbished so it’s nice with wood panel floors instead of carpet. Overall I enjoyed the stay and the size of the rooms, bathroom, etc nice deep tub to soak.

Overall, was somewhat disappointed in our stay. During check-in, we were given a room with 2 single beds when our booking was for 1 king bed. When we called the concierge to clarify, the service staff did not offer an apology for the hiccup but asked whether we were ok to stick to the room with 2 single beds. This shouldn’t be the approach as we expected better from a 5-star hotel. Next, the drainage for the shower is dismal. Just by turning on the shower head for a few minutes and the shower was flooding as the water couldn’t drain in time. Had to wait for the water to drain before continuing with my shower. The mini fridge did not seemed to be working despite it being turned on. Generally expected better from the hotel with its legacy and reputation.

ドアのキーカードが毎回開錠できなくなった。エクストラベットを依頼していたが準備されてなく。依頼しても直ぐに準備してもらえなかった。アメニティが宿泊人数分準備されてなく、依頼しても直ぐに支給してもらえなかった。日本語をしゃべれるスタッフの対応が素晴らしく、廊下でたまたま声をかけてくれた、このスタッフがエキストラベットとアメニティをすぐに準備してくれた。この方がいなければ、今回の旅行は最悪の思い出になっていました。

Our "Heritage" room was one of the best rooms that we have ever stayed in. Spacious, elegant with many drawers and wardrobes. We were within walking distance to 2 MRT stations, Newton Food Centre and Orchard Road. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Would love to come again!

Lovely apartment situated at the rear of the hotel, plenty of room and private. Cooking facilities were adequate we were able to sort our own breakfast. Hotel staff were very helpful, our apartment was cleaned every day. Good location, easy walk to transport links, both MRT and buses. Plenty of food choices close by and easily accessible. Orchard Rd with all its shops and facilities is so close by. Would definitely stay again

I had a very comfortable stay, I think the hotel is in a great location and love the gardens and pools, shopping is all very close bar and lots of cafe's and alternative restaurants. I found that the food in the hotel way too expensive for what is is.
