Very nice hotel with good facilities, rooms were spacious and the garden terrace is excellent Only negative is the poor/basic automatic machine coffee at breakfast, suprised there is no option to get a “real quality” coffee And why is it 18$ to play tennis….? Plus more to rent a racket (this should be free for hotel guests paying for services) Overall a nice hotel in a central location

Fabulous hotel, would definitely stay again. They are extremely welcoming to children- providing a goody bag on arrival which went down very well. Very modern rooms. Kids club facilities are excellent and immaculate. My daughter loved the pirate ship splash pad. Very helpful staff. A bit of a walk from the MRT but it wasn’t a problem as very easy to get taxis.

This was an absolutely amazing hotel. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time. The food at Shang Palace was phenomenal and the service at the spa was fabulous. Can’t wait to go back. This was a truly luxury experience.

We had a junior suite which nice size .The only issue was it was a bit dusty,they dont wipe the cupboards and shelves very well,and smells dusty.The beds super hard .both rooms with family had to get mattress toppers on the beds.but otherwise a convenient place with resort pool.Staff were great .Have stayed twice.

The room and bathroom were clean but not spotless. Majority of the stay, housekeeping did a great job but a couple of the days, they were slacking a bit. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful property in a quiet location. Free shuttle bus to the major shopping street that also connects to the underground transit system. No comment on breakfast as that was not part of the accommodations, although, it was offered as discounted add on upon arrival.

Very well organised resort-type hotel, great cleaning, check-in, concierge etc. Nice garden and pool. Minor blemishes - no power socket at bedside, a bit loud aircondition etc., minor things. 10 mins to buss and 15 mins to MRT. A bit sneaky, ask for full days charge for early check-in or late check-out.

The room service was not good at all. The food was terrible (fish and chips etc.) For that kind of money, one could expect better food. Furthermore, there is nothing in the minibar in the room. The room cleaning has been forgotten twice during the stay. Once they forgot to leave coffee capsules etc. For average hotels, I could understand. For this type of establishment, it should be better.

Stay was good. On arrival, the check in was good. Room was large and well appointed with a decent bed and shower. I had a view of the car park/road which wasn't great. The breakfast was outstanding with every variety you could think of. The lounge on the other hand was poor and very few vegetarian options. The location is ok, but a little far from the metro and the hotel is now a little dated maybe compared to some of the other options available at this price point. Overall, I really like my stay and would recommend the hotel.

子供連れには良いホテルだと思います。プールが子供向きでスライダーなどがあり、とても喜んでいました。施設も南国の雰囲気で、コスパも良く良いホテルだと思います。 3泊して感じたのは、壁がとても薄いということ。私は不眠症なので、それがとても辛かったです。真夜中に外の妙な音が何度もしたり、隣の部屋の赤ちゃんの泣き声が筒抜けだったり、また朝の鳥の鳴き声も、どこかの部屋の目覚まし時計なのかと思うほど強烈でした。設備が古いので仕方ないかもしれません。ガーデン側の部屋でプール見えて、雰囲気はとても良いのですが、壁の薄さが残念でした。ビュッフェもちょっと、鮮度が悪いものがあったりしたのが残念だったかな…。それから、朝は激混みで並ばないとメインのビュッフェ、ザ・ラインは入店出来ません。それでも、子供はまた来たいと言うしプールは本当に良いので、再訪の際には色々改善して頂けたら嬉しいなと思います。

Fabulous hotel as what you will expect for a 5 star hotel. Very busy reception seems very popular. Staff are great. Facilities are more than you asked for. However, I didn’t receive any VIP benefits. Nothing at all. No perks, no room upgrade. I even asked for late checkout but they also denied.

Beautiful hotel which looks fabulous as soon as you walk in. The staff are very guest focus and very attentive. The express lift is a delight and there are 6 lifts so even at busy times your wait for a lift is minimal. Rooms are very well appointed. Beds are very comfy but pillows could be a bit firmer. Concierge staff are really informative and helpful. The courtesy shuttle is a great way to start journeys from the hotel but only runs from 11:00 to 20:00 daily which is a bit limiting.

I had a lovely stay here and would stay again. My room was very comfortable and spacious with excellent housekeeping. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location is a little out of the way but a bus stop is within 10 minutes walk and the island bus service is excellent and cheap and easy to use with a credit card tap in/out system.

Property is excellent but some distance from the attractions, with limited public transport access. So, using taxis, which are plentiful, is a must. Unfortunately, at checkout the VIP discount was not applied and required me to request it. We will definitely return as we both enjoyed the hotel immensely.

what a great hotel. We\'ve had wonderful experiences with Shangri-La hotels, this was no exception. The staff is great and our room was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast has amazing selections, though it was quite chaotic with so many people there moving around to different buffets. The no-napkin thing is weird to us, but it seems to be a "thing" in Singapore and when we asked for paper napkins, we were given some.

The Shangri-La is one of those older, very large hotels that are doubtless very expensive to maintain and easy to neglect. The good news is that in the main it works well. The lobby is very smart, it has a great pool area and we enjoyed the gym. The rooms are spacious if in need of a little updating. We are at the Waterfall restaurant on site where the food and service were pretty average unfortunately. Overall a good experience if a little expensive.
