Beautiful beach club. Friendly and efficient service!

The fitness centre and Sky bar are 5 star. The staff very helpful and the rooms very modern . Really enjoyed my stay.

Staff were amazing, couldn’t do more to help, lovely saltwater pool which is across the road from the hotel, does get busy though so be quick to get a space, also had access to the sea via steps from the edge of the rocks, the spa was absolutely lovely! A must if your staying! Saunas steam room and a lovely indoor pool! Would defo stay again with no hesitation :)

The room was spotless. It also was great for a family of 4. The price was worth it. It has everything- spa, gym, internal pool..... The staff was excellent too. Great experience. Thank you!

Great facilities (gym, pool, sauna). Friendly staff. Good location. Spacious and clean rooms. Lovely roof top bar.

Only one functioning lift, which meant delays at busy times. Some surly and unhelpful staff in the spa. Otherwise a pleasant stay in all respects.

We stayed in a sea view suite, plenty of space and fantastic views of the Grand Harbour entrance. The shower was excellent and the room cleaning was done to a great standard. Breakfast was well organised with plenty of choices of food. The bar area was always popular in the evening and live entertainment was available on some evenings. The spa was a great bonus although the steam room and jacuzzi were not as warm as I would have liked. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Good location, but current construction is quite noisy. Spa and outdoor pool were good. Room was clean and quite modern, bathroom needs updating. Sea view was incredible

There was work being done on the elevators. To make up for this, they offered free drinks in the afternoon and free dinner. We were very happy with our stay!

The hotel is under construction and we were not made aware of this by anyone prior to our stay. We booked 7 months in advance and our room wasn’t ready the first night. We stayed in a windowless room that had bugs and a horrible shower/sink/bathroom. The bed and linens were atrocious. One top sheet, horrible pillows. Scratchy sheets and there was sand in the bed our first night , when it should have been freshly cleaned. The pool was across the street and not clean nor updated. The spa is down the street, around the corner. Nothing is connected to the actual hotel. Construction started every morning (except Sunday) at 7am. It was horrible and we did not get a good night’s sleep during our whole stay. I’m usually a very positive person, I am not one to write negative reviews - this experience needed to be documented to let others know. The staff were nice, but had no ability to help us. We had to move rooms the second day, to the room type we actually booked. They said our room would be ready at 2pm. We show up at 2pm; we were not allowed into the room until 2:45pm. We had an event at 4:00pm and it was very hectic to get ready / move our bags/ unpack/ etc. I’m really disappointed with our stay. We have stayed at a different hotel in St. Paul’s Bay last year that was rated 3 stars and it was wildly nicer than this hotel.

I have stayed at the Preluna twice before, I love the staff at the Preluna, everyone was always polite and welcoming and friendly. I love the breakfast at the Preluna, it has everything anyone could ask for. I was suprised that the part of the hotel where I was staying was unergoing renovation, a little dusty in the corridors, my sister and I discovered some dust coming through the vents, oterwuse the room was comfortable, clean, spacious, the hooks in the bathroom are made for taller people and made it difficult for me to use. I would definitely stay there again, it is located in a perfect location, easily walk to many locations i Sliema.

Didn’t reply to my e-mail regarding arranging transport from the airport, I used both the reply on the e-mail I was sent via hotels.com & e-mailed direct. Carpet outside our room did not look as though it was hoovered in the five days we stayed which was a shame as everywhere else seem to be cleaned.

All staff were great ..room was lovely ..The only downside was a nasty smell coming from the drains in the bathroom..

Excellent position- right on the sea promenade- tons of restaurants and gelatos! Sea view room was fantastic! We stayed at the 12th floor - superb view. Bathroom could need a bit of update. Absolutely professional and friendly staff! The hotel upgraded us to breakfast included and it was very good! Great selection of food, sweets, coffee/theas

We booked a Suite with a Sea View at Preluna Hotel & Spa in Sliema, Malta, expecting a high-quality experience based on positive reviews. Instead, we faced misleading advertising, maintenance issues, and poor service. Major Problems: • The Skyroom rooftop restaurant was randomly closed on multiple days with no prior warning. • Ongoing construction started at 07:00 AM daily, making it impossible to relax. • Wi-Fi was slow and required logging in every time with a password from reception. Room #1 Issues: • Mini fridge was broken. • Bathroom had a disgusting sewage smell that returned despite “repairs.” • Loud construction noise every morning. • Shower clogged after a repair attempt, causing water to flood the bathroom. After two nights of complaints, we were moved to another suite with free breakfast as compensation. Room #2 Issues: • No hot water from Tuesday morning until midday Wednesday. • Multiple failed repair attempts—staff blamed another room instead of fixing it. • Constant interruptions—maintenance kept entering without resolution. Other Issues: • Customer service was inefficient. Staff weren’t rude, but nothing was properly resolved. • Key problems, like construction and closed facilities, were NOT disclosed before booking. Final Verdict: Not a scam, but highly problematic. Preluna Hotel is NOT worth its rating. If you expect a relaxing, hassle-free stay, look elsewhere. I regret booking here and would not recommend it.

Lovely room with great sea view.

We stayed in a family room, which has 2 separate bedrooms. The seaside view from large balcony was really nice. t's always hard to exactly know beforehand what you are going to get and our expectations were exceeded! The hotel has a very customer focused service attitude. Starting from free welcome drink during check-in to free water and wine waiting at the room + almost daily small 'treats' left on top of the bed. We liked the quality and selection of breakfast. There is a skybar on top with good cocktails and perfect views. The hotel is conveniently located. It is very easy to take a ferry to Valletta (2,5 eur per direction) and bus stops almost at the hotel entrance. Very easy to reach gozo or other cities by direct buses going with 20- or 30-minute intervals.

The employee could lose his job for keeping my diabetes meds a small box in refrigerator. Shower dud not drain in both rooms we rented. Manager allowed to Keep medicine after I asked to speak with him. I did not enjoy the shower. Bed was good. View and location good. I would not go back to this hotel.

Lovely hotel, great rooms & lovely amenities. Booked for my parents for a special trip & the hotel were lovely enough to give a bottle of wine and card to celebrate.

Check in great and efficient. Room for first bight great except for big threatening german shepherd dog on adjacent balcony. Asked for room change due to fear of dog, unable to accommodate and fairly off hand dity manager came across as dismissive of my fears and concerns. Room changed progressed following afternoon. Reat of stay fine. Building under renovation and therefore noisy (cannot be helped), bathroom cleaning needs improvement. Great location, views and most staff delightful

This is our third stay at the hotel and the only place we will book to stay. The location is perfect, the rooms lovely with excellent views and the staff friendly. I have dairy and gluten intolerances and at breakfast was always provided with soya milk and gluten free bread ( sometimes it took at little while to get it ) Didn't eat at the hotel at any other time but the breakfast was great.

We have been to the Preluna many times, and this time for our 10th wedding anniversary. The staff made it extra special for us and we will be sure to keep coming for many years to come and to recommend to others

Det var en romantisk reise. Vi feiret min kones bursdag. Jeg tok kontakt med hotellet og la til mine ønsker som ble en del av overraskelsen. Hotellet ordnet alt og vi fikk en uforglemmelig dag på hotellet. I tillegg fikk vi et så fint rom som man kan nytte soloppgang på senga. Vi fikk også gratis frokost av hotellet. Vi ble behandlet veldig godt av hotellet Nær transport. Sentral beliggelhet. God service

The staff were wonderful and very professional. The food was excellent. The room was well laid out, clean and comfortable.

Veldig bra, både hotellet i seg selv, fasiliteter og beliggenhet i byen. Kollektiv transport rett utenfor døren, også sightseeing-busser som kjører rundt på hele øyen stopper rett utenfor døren.

Very good hotel but being on a busy seafront it was noisy at night. The lifts were rather erratic so there was a bit of a wait at times. Very well placed for the bus service.

It was centrally located in Sliema. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and within the hotel itself. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the water and the promenade. Everything was walkable. The hotel was in excellent condition and the breakfast was amazing. Totally enjoyed our time at the resort and would stay again

Staff really helpful and even a welcome drink .only thing is ...there is construction work nearby so we couldnt really make use of our balcony.

Long wait for elevators 20min to get to main floor to check out. Employees not very knowledgeable or friendly with the exception room service who were very friendly and smiled. Main restaurant on 13th floor always closed unable to enjoy it. So sad.. Rooms rather small .. balcony (not hotels faults) gave out to much noise and construction work but hotel should have at least advised or given other options. Hotel Looks nice from outside but a little disappointing once inside.
