The room was spotless, we had an amazing view from the 8th floor, and we made much use of the indoor pool. Also the breakfast was great. I liked Sliema, it's a great base for exploring Malta.

4 star hotel in Sliema, Malta. Quiet area. Lovely air conditioned, big room with balcony. Roof to pool. Sister hotel to the 5 star Palace Hotel which was accessible via a passageway on first floor. 10 minutes walk to sea front and ferry to Valletta. 15 mins walk to the bustling St. Julian's and The Point Shopping Mall. Lovely variety of breakfast - hot and cold food. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Gut gelegen, guter Service, 3 Pools, guter Fitness-Bereich, Rooftop-Restaurant, Zimmer sauber , im Bad funktioniert alles, genug Handtücher. British-Style Bar (wer’s mag), durchgelegene Matratze muss baldigst mal ausgetauscht werden, sonst war nichts auszusetzen. Erfreulich.

Great hotel base in Sliema for visiting the area. It’s on a hill, in a built up area, so may not suit travellers looking for a sea view or with mobility issues. However, it’s only a 5-10 minute walk down to the waterfront. The hotel shares pool, spa and buffet facilities with the 5* AX Palace which was great. Our room was over looked and faced directly into the next building, which was disappointing but not an issue as we spent so little time in our room. Our twin room was spacious, well equipped & maintained, although did not have USB charging points. We booked Half Board and were delighted that this included a bottle of wine and water each evening. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned to a high standard by the housekeeping team. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! Room was very nice, clean and spacious with comfortable beds and great shower. Reception ladies were very friendly and helpful, good breakfast included in rate. Enjoyed use of indoor pool and steam room after day exploring Valletta. Short walk to Sliema shops and waterfront. Would definitely come back.

The hotel did a good job all around. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The little balcony was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and was constantly replenished. Thanks.

Just returned from a 4 night break at the AX Victoria. We had the best time. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was great with lots of choices. The hotel is situated in a great location close to the seafront but nicely set back away from busy areas. It has a fantastic rooftop pool with beautiful views of the city and beyond. I would recommend staying at this lovely hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Great location. Rooms are lovely and clean and serviced daily. Facilities are great, especially the roof pool. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff were so helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

최고의 위치. 넓은 객실. 깨끗하고 쾌적합니다. 다만 발코니가 너무 좁고 전망이 없고 아래층 기계소음이 있습니다. 조식이 좋아서 발코니 약점이 커버되네요. 특별히 부탁하지 않아도 매일 클린업 해주네요. 3박4일이 짧아서 아쉽네요. 감사합니다.

Location was great. Airport bus was a few minutes away and was also close to the rock beach. A few minutes on the bus to St Julian’s and Paceville. Shower water pressure was decent. Room was too hot for me and centrally controlled so I could not change it. Apparently a fan cooler could have been provided but only found out at checkout unfortunately. Breakfast was decent. Staff were very friendly. Internal pool was alright, but I imagine would be very busy in peak season. The external pool looked nice but I did not use that. Sauna was alright but not very big and in the evenings could not use it as a result. Steam room was even smaller than that. Overall I would definitely stay again, although I might be tempted to try the next door palace hotel to see if that is much different!

We stayed at the AX Palace sister hotel last year, which is joined onto the AX Victoria, and it was very good. This year we decided to give the Victoria a try for our honeymoon. We couldn't book the room we wanted on Expedia, so we contacted the hotel to try and arrange an upgrade, explaining that it was our honeymoon, and that I'd be happy to pay for it. They said the hotel didn't have capacity at the time, but they would arrange something nearer the time. When we got there the person on reception knew nothing about this and wasn't able to offer us any form of upgrade. To cap it all, our room had a balcony, but the door was broken, so the cleaners would leave it unlocked and open every day. When asked why we didn't report this, I stated that the staff know there's a problem and should have dealt with it. On top of this, the breakfasts were not particularly good, compared to the Palace next door, and the breakfast room was rammed with tables, so they could fit more people in, which meant that people are constantly squeezing between tables whilst you are trying to eat. Frankly we ended up eating out. We won't be staying at the Victoria again - it wasn't particularly cheap, and they disregarded our requests, making our honeymoon less than memorable. I wish we had booked the Palace instead.

I booked a double bed and balcony. I got 2 single beds butted together (when queried was told no double beds, it's how most hotels do it now!) and balcony looked into alley and never got the sun (when queried was told can't control sun ....no, but you can state on website - balcony but does not get the sun!!) pool lovely view. Most staff very nice and professional. Wee bit of a hill to reach from promenade.

Loved the facilities rooftop pool gym and indoor pool etc. Superb friendly and helpful employees. Lovely food at temptasian with great sunset views. Excellent shower though over the bath toiletries etc. Good buffet breakfast. Only niggle pillows very soft and old though mattress was pretty new but no mattress protector.Bed was comfortable. Some odd noise in our room which didnt cause a problem. We were in 817.

We stayed at the AX Palace sister hotel last year, which is joined onto the AX Victoria, and it was very good. This year we decided to give the Victoria a try for our honeymoon. We couldn't book the room we wanted on Expedia, so we contacted the hotel to try and arrange an upgrade, explaining that it was our honeymoon, and that I'd be happy to pay for it. They said the hotel didn't have capacity at the time, but they would arrange something nearer the time. When we got there the person on reception knew nothing about this and wasn't able to offer us any form of upgrade. To cap it all, our room had a balcony, but the door was broken, so the cleaners would leave it unlocked and open every day. When asked why we didn't report this, I stated that the staff know there's a problem and should have dealt with it. On top of this, the breakfasts were not particularly good, compared to the Palace next door, and the breakfast room was rammed with tables, so they could fit more people in, which meant that people are constantly squeezing between tables whilst you are trying to eat. Frankly we ended up eating out. We won't be staying at the Victoria again - it wasn't particularly cheap, and they disregarded our requests, making our honeymoon less than memorable. I wish we had booked the Palace instead.

Reservation for 3 person and received at midnight, already tired, a small room with 2 single beds. Need complain to get a bigger room with a sofa by end of 2nd day in a stay of 4 nights. The AX hotel Victoria is greatly located in a walkable area to all the city attractions. The ferry is just few steps away to go to Valletta. The check in was great where Hasan the receptionist made sure we got all we needed. Will definitely come back if ever again in Malta. The breakfast was great so was the staff.

I got 2 single beds butted together (when queried was told no double beds, it's how most hotels do it now!) and balcony looked into alley and never got the sun (when queried was told can't control sun ....no, but you can state on website - balcony but does not get the sun!!) pool lovely view. Most staff very nice and professional. Wee bit of a hill to reach from promenade.
