Breakfast was fantastic. Room needed more outlets close to bed. Check in was the worst that I recall ever having. I sent notes through hotels.com that I would be flying all night and arriving in the morning and requested early check in. I arrived late morning , around 11 am, with no sleep. The receptionist insisted that I cannot check in early even though a room was available without changing me extra. She changed me extra and when I went to my room it was not king size bed and it was overlooking a roof and not really the garden as described in the reservation.

We had a pleasant stay at Maritim Hotel Stuttgart. It was our second time. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception team. The bar was one of the highlights, with a great selection of drinks and plenty of options to choose from. Breakfast was decent, although the selection was a little limited for a buffet. A wider variety would have made it more enjoyable. The location is convenient, with the city centre around a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is also close to the University of Stuttgart campus, with lovely parks and green spaces nearby, making the surrounding area pleasant for a walk. Overall, a good choice for a stay in Stuttgart, with helpful staff, clean rooms, and a convenient location.

The usual, convenient for business. Clean rooms, might need some updating, overall ok for a business hotel. Nothing I would spend my time on holiday but to be honest, the hotel doesn’t try to be anything different. Great breakfast though and friendly helpful staff.
