Victoria Airport/Sidney Travelodge

The Days Inn was great. Clean outdoor pool, decent gym and awesome continental breakfast. Kids loved it and I loved how close to everything it was. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and parks. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Beds were actually comfortable and room was clean.

The parking lot was very awkward to get out and back to the .door to retrieve luggage . There was only one handycap spot.

Hotel staff were delightful and helpful, so many perks! Free shuttle to/from ferry, complimentary bikes and breakfast, great bathroom amenities, pool was clean and amazing, walking distance to everything, no hidden extras fees. Will stay again!

Parking is behind the building in a back alley/street. Didn’t feel safe letting my teenage daughters go to the car alone. Attached to the other side of the hotel is a gas station and convenience store.

Can’t beat the value. Great and friendly staff, free shuttle service airport - hotel - airport, continental breakfast and located close to downtown Sidney. Fantastic!

I have stayed here before but had a higher floored room. I paid a $10.00 upgrade to stay closer to the pool as we had our kids with us this time. The pool area rooms were a little dingy in regards to damp scent and the windowsills could have used a deep clean as had lots of little dead flies. The carpets could use a deep clean (room 128). The pool area was clean and decent. Our cable box fell behind the tv unit and we had a desk staff come to help retrieve it as it had to be pulled ahead. It was an alright stay but would definitely stay on a higher floor as those rooms seemed a little more updated. We have never had their complimentary breakfast but it starts at 5am on the lower level which is great. Location has easy walkability to The Dickens Pub, a BCL, grocery store and other food services and shops. Airport shuttle us available and distance to YYJ is maybe 5 mins.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym was clean and well equipped. The have a nice breakfast room with good quality fresh foods. After dropping us off at the airport, their cleaning staff found some medicine we had left behind, contacted us and sent the shuttle back to the airport to deliver it to us. Triple "A" service!!!!

Property looks pretty old , still clean but only one EV parking.

Close to glass beach with lots of shopping and dinning options in walking distance. Staff very friendly. One EV charging spot available and gas station near by with fast EV charging.

Very satisfied with our stay. The staff was VERY accommodating and the shuttle to and from airport was appreciated!

Carpeting was dirty and the room smelled musty. Bathroom sink was clogged. Shuttle service was excellent.

We found a used kleenex in the bed as we opened the sheets.

Carpets look old and dirty and gave the place an old smell, especially in the room which probably doesn’t get aired often.

I and my kids got bed bug bites at this hotel. I hope my home doesn’t become infested. We stayed at this hotel our last night at Victoria Island because we needed a hotel near the airport.

Good stay! Reception staff are fantastic. Just wish they had newer TVs in the room.

The room had a kitchenette, sleeper sofa and table and chairs. Very comfortable and roomy.

It was terribly outdated and noisy. The bed was super uncomfortable and pillows were old. This property needs a update

Very convenient if you're going to the airport, Ac/heat unit was loud and sound travels through the roof and from outside. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is good.

Great location. Very clean with excellent friendly and informative front desk staff. Included breakfast was typical of price range. I skipped it as I usually do. (Why eat mediocre calories just because they are included?) Hotel shuttle picked us up from airport with minimal wait. We were able to take the hotel shuttle to the ferry terminal as well. There are BC Transit busses within 3-4 blocks from the hotel to take you to downtown Victoria or Butchart Gardens, but they were very crowded with standing room only for the 50 minute ride. I would recommend paying up and using a taxi service instead. Otherwise the room was spacious and comfortable. I could hear road noise and airplane noise inside the room, but my sound machine app on my phone did its job. I would stay here again for a short stay due to cleanliness, friendly staff, and excellent convenient location.

Just noisy due to thin walls. The guy next door must have sneezed twenty times. Like he was in the room. I also got to listen to his phone calls

If your BF Staff today 10/21 will get annoyed with every single spill a guest unintentionally does, you will never have a happy guest.

Very late getting in to Victoria and they had an easy check in for us.

I booked a room for 5 people. It only slept 4. When I asked the front desk about it they said a cot was available for more money per night. I told them that I expected them to let us have the cot without an extra charge because the listing said it slept 5. In all other hotels, if it said it slept 5 there would be a pull out or sofa bed in the room. They said they weren't authorized to allow that so the next day I went to see if the manager was there. He was. He came around the corner and he didn't even talk to me, he just looked at me and said, "Yeah, we aren't going to comp that." He then proceeded to tell me that the room is big enough for a cot and I should have researched more before I came. He insisted that the listing said that before I booked. I have searched their site and on expedia and find no such information. He said the pictures clearly show that there is not a sofa bed, but in my experience, the pictures on a hotel site are not always completely accurate. When I book a room that sleeps 5, I expect it to sleep 5 without more fees. When I told him I would leave a negative review he didn't seem to care. And unfortunately, the manager is the one that gets those reviews and he responded to that in similar nature. Even a complaint sent to the company came back with a cut and paste response from the google review. If he had cared more about making it right, my recommendation would be very different.

The shuttle was handy but it would have been nice to actually get the wake-up call I requested.

We stayed here as it was super close to the Victoria airport and our flight left early, but if you are looking for a restful sleep - stay elsewhere. The hotel is situated on an incredibly busy intersection - right beside the highway, and is not insulated well - our room faced the intersection and it was as if our windows were open. As well - the hotel room was right beside the stairs and guests were tromping in and out of the stair well all night slamming doors - which kept us up. We’re not usually ones to write reviews or complain - but it was so terrible compared to other places we had just stayed on the island. It was clean, and the staff were nice - but it was just not quiet, insulated well or a comfortable place. If we had booked more than one night - we would have cancelled the remaining nights.

Enjoyed this hotel very much. Near Thrifty's supermarket. Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was good-eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, teas. Staff was good.

I was bitterly disappointed that reakfast was in.an extremely plain room woth self serve hard boiled eggs (cold)? Bread, a toater, coffee machine, muffins, a waffle-maker and juice. Not the kind of breakfast included" I had expected.... anywhere. Apart from thos one disappointment, the hotel was great.

The breakfast was not great for vegetarian options.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the texting option for questions or support. The breakfast is decent, with cold and hot options. A short drive from the airport and to the downtown and waterfront.

Clean and quiet no frills stay. Room was a little dated compared to the photos but well maintained. Breakfast was sufficient, hot items were "okay"; nothing special but not going hungry either. Airport shuttle was free and timely. Would recommend for anyone looking for a short stay before a flight or visiting the area.

The best complimentary breakfast that my family has ever had! My two kids enjoyed using the hotel's bikes as well!
