Hotel is in good location, adjacent bus stops if required to access bus/train station (1G Bus). Reception staff very welcoming + bar staff. Room was spacious and comfortable bed, although on 'quiet side' of hotel had a view towards the City. Breakfast was very good with many food choices available, particularly enjoyed the Lithuanian cheeses and meats available. Used the sauna on 1 occasion, very good - I did not use the gym on this trip. Enjoyed some good wine at bar and local beer, prices were reasonable in my opinion.

The room was clean, but the first three on the third floor smelled like ashtray until they moved me to the fourth floor. The hotel staff was very accommodating & kept apologizing . It is not staff’s fault : the hotel is old & outdated . I never stayed in a Holiday Inn hotel in the USA that is so expensive & so dingy.
