Congress Hotel

Wonderful hotel. Highly recommend. The parking was under construction which made it confusing when we got there but overall a fantastic experience!

く Location. The location of the hotel is great! It's off the main high street by only 3 mins walk. Which helps with noise. It is next to a three lane road which can get busy but the double glazing stops the noise. It's great for getting picked up with Taxi etc. if you hire a care there is a car park 1 min walk away. I noticed it was $1.60 per hour but didn't get the 24 hour price. CLEANLINESS. Absolutely spotless! The reception, lifts, hallways, rooms were all immaculate clean. BREAKFAST is avail there I did not have the breakfast but it looked well presented and fresh. I only had coffee so I can't comment. BEDROOM very comfortable bed, big flat screen TV, I had room with bath tub. Amenities (shower gel etc) were basic, I went to a store and bought better. Housekeeping clean and make the beds and tidy bathroom perfectly! Kettle and mini bar with average priced products inside. Safe is avail in wardrobe. I did not see the bar area open at all in 5 days for a coffee or a beer at any time. It was only avail/open for breakfast. But the shops are only 3 mins walk away. Pessima esperienza. Abbiamo prenotato una suite per 3 adulti + 1 bambino, pagando anche un “supplemento per ospite aggiuntivo”: ci siamo ritrovati in due minuscole stanze, una con due lettini singoli striminziti, l’altra con un divano letto che sarebbe stato piccolo per una persona, figuriamoci per due! Senza considerare che avevamo chiesto una stanza in un piano alto ed eravamo al primo piano, in pieno traffico cittadino e sopra la sala delle colazioni, che attaccava la musica altissima alle 7:30. La struttura non è un 4 stelle: vecchio, lasciato andare e sporco. Bruciature di sigarette sulle tende, moquette vecchia, tutto poco curato. Neanche i letti erano ben fatti, con le lenzuola che non coprivano tutto il materasso. Decisamente un’esperienza negativa.

Everything was great! Very nice, polite and helpful staff, great location in the nice building by the river - not in the old town but in the center: 2 min walk the main street, 5-10 min to the old town, most of the busses stop there. Very good breakfast, nice, clean and quiet room, the bed was comfortable (not too soft, but not hard either).

Overall the stay was fine. The biggest disappointment was that while booking, it was said that the room has a bathtub, but it turned out to have a shower. And my room has a very weird layout, the shower from the next door room was between the wall next to bed and the shower in my room, so the soundproof feature only concerned windows, but all the noises from the neighbours shower was heard. Breakfast was good, although not very diverse. The strange thing was the garbage in the bathroom bin from previous tenant. Hope that other stuff was cleaned before my check-in.

I'm happy with my stay. The double room was renovated and very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. The location was excellent, close to everything. Breakfast was good, no complains but nothing extra-ordinary. The negative part is that it can get noisy in the corridor when people come home late from a night out. It was a bit disturbing. I would stay there again, absolutely!

Executive suite was great design, clean big modern bathroom. Bedding sheet had a red dot - paint, blood? Pillow case was not contained all around, but had an opening. Don’t like touching pillows under pillow cases. For these reasons 4 stars not 5.

We stayed there for a night in a family suite. Nice room with city view, tidy, breakfast options were good and great location too. Everything was superb.

Good: great location near the old town and lidl; very friendly staff. Not good: leak in the bathtub; no power socket near the bed; wifi did not always work.

Hotel was amazing. First time staying with my son, we asked for room with a nice view, separate beds and all of that was accommodated. We stayed in 515 room and the views of the city are insane. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel itself is beautifully, very clean and has everything you need. This will be now our hotel to stay in when we back to Vilnius.

The location is good almost next to the Old Town and reachable from the airport with just one bus. The staff was friendly and the room clean. However, the bed was quite hard and the pillows weren't that good. In addition, the noises from the traffic outside and from the corridor came through quite clearly.

Friendly reception, room of decent size, clean. Loved the heated bathroom, but missed having a shelf to put toiletries on. I was told they are redecorating and shelves will come. Breakfast was good

Hotel desk staff was very nice. We paid for one night though Hotels.com before our group trip began. The room lacked working air conditioning. We were changed to a different room once our tour started. That room looked like it had just been renovated and had functional AC.

Pros Good location, clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff and relatively fresh-looking bathroom. Neutral - room is pretty compact (but was expected) Cons - no reasonably placed free power outlet (eg next to bed or desk) - no ventilation in bathroom ( at the same time towel dryer at high temperature - and this in summer)

Fantastic view

The Hotel helped me with everything that I needed. The breakfasts were delicious, staff was competent, everyone was friendly. I really enjoyed my time in the spacious beautifully furnished room. The amazing bathroom and 24 hour availability for questions. In addition to great Wi-Fi. Great place to stay overall!

Reception was friendly and check in was easy. The room is clean. My room included breakfast which consisted of standard European offerings. The location was close enough to walk to sights and town square.

My stay at the Congress Hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent — safe, central, and with very easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Vilnius.

Traveling with family, booked via hotels.com for 2 adults plus 2 children and at check-in was charged additional 50 EUR. Miscommunication either on Congress hotel or hotels.com. Hotel itself nice and conveniently located by the river

Great service

They said they gave us an up grade which we didn’t ask for and then made us move to another room after one night of a five night stay even though we made it clear we wanted to stay in the same room when we checked in. We had to walk back to the hotel in the rain when we were informed that we had to move in the middle of our tour to see the local sights

The staff was really polite and helpful and the breakfast was amazing!! Old town is just a few minutes away where you can find tourist attractions as well as hidden gems, restaurants and shopping. The visit at Congress hotel was truly one of the best ones we’ve ever had, and we’ve traveled a lot :) 10 out of 10!

Good hotel but a little way from the Old Town.

Well located on the river, on the edge of the old town with all its nightlife. Good breakfast. Great shower.

I recently stayed at congress hotel in Vilnius, it’s a really good place to stay, the room was more than I expected!!! It’s only 10 minutes walking distance from historic places like the Vilnius cathedral and only 15 minutes distance from old town. I definitely recommend this place.

My only complaint is that the breakfast offerings are too static. I would add crispy bacon, scrabbled eggs and crepes. Most Lithuanian hotels serve lightly cooked , fatty bacon which is unpalatable.
