Room and bathroom was dirty , don’t think they used a vaccume cleaner, hair in the bathroom that didn’t belong to us! Room didn’t feel or smell fresh! Bedding was clean but that’s about it! Dump truck picked up disgustingly full skip bins before 10am and was very loud! Swimming pool freezing cold! Who has a pool in Victoria that’s not heated! Would not stay there again!

For the price, the property was very run down and extremely dirty, I don't think the carpet or the windows had been cleaned in years. The room set up was good, but the tiny bar fridge was in poor condition and froze or heated, not to mention the door got stuck on the dirty brown carpet, the furniture was skeptical and there was no airflow. The roller doors for the service area was directly below us and were noisily raised early each morning with carts being trundled around the carpark and the whole area outside had a bit of a dodgy feel to it. Again for the price it was a bit ordinary. On a plus the restaurant and kids play area was a stroke of genius and the pool area was easily accessed and nice.

Very old and unclean. Spa in room broken. Stains on furniture and carpet. Window sills thick with dirt. Marks on walls and carpet needed to be vacuumed. Found an empty beer bottle next to the bed.

Overpriced for a dirty dump. Carpets were stained badly. Lobby key card door was in decrepit shape. Hall carpets looked like hadnt been vacuumed in a while. Lobby seating area was old and warn down. The pictures shown on this site make it look great. I commend there photographer

The staff were nice and the room looked well fitted out but there were cigarette butts everywhere outside and in the gardens. A dooner just left under the stairs and the entry stairs and outside walkways were very dirty. Most windows we very dirty as well and even the shower had old dirt in the corners. We had a spar room and only half filled the bath before the hot water ran out and it took till the next morning to become hot enough again to even have a shower.

The staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I have to give this place a low rating because the walls are made of paper. I could hear the next door guest snoring, and there must have been a drain pipe over a car or something cause every drop of rain was like a smashing wave against a tin can. All night long…regardless of the weather, I could hear every word of the conversation happening in the parking lot.

We stayed in a room with a spa bath in the middle of the room. Really fun idea. Lots of mirrors. Television visible from the bath too. The only downside was the condition ofvthe room. Very run down. Stains on all the seats, the carpet was stained, frayed and coming up around the tiles near the tub. Taps in both the spa and bathroom sink are lose and wobbly to touch. The light switch in the toilet is broken, it gets stuck on unless you really force it. All this aside the cleaning staff have done a great job working withvthe room. Carpet was well vacuumed. Bedding was clean and comfortable. It looks like they might actually be in the process of revamping the motel. We noticed beds in large skip bins in the carpark as well as plaster from replacing walls so fingers crossed it will be freshened up next time we are there. I would stay again, but knowing that the room is run down i may not pick that room next time.

Good location, with good amenities on offer. Bed was comfortable, and clean. Room was tired, with paint peeling in areas. Old plumbing, shower was very, very hard to regulate to a comfortable temp. Main bedroom was very hot, as air con was in other area.

The bed was large and comfortable and the rain shower great BUT the towels were paper thin! There was a cup and saucer but a plate with a knife would have been helpful -no toaster but this was not really expected. The location was on the main highway so convenient but noisy. ON the positive side the room was clean and staff okay.

I would never stay here again. We stayed in the family room and although it was noted that it was located above the commercial laundry which operated 8-8 mon to sat, the hotel did not mention pre booking that they also operate the laundry from 7.30 on a Sunday under these rooms by choice. I spoke to the unhelpful person on reception about this who had no respect for customer satisfaction. I asked for consideration of compensation for the laundry operating outside of communicated hours and he treated me like I was an inconvenience. I subsequently sent 2 emails to the manager re this matter and heard nothing. Re our room it was ok but had ripped curtains and you couldnt open a window in a room with 5 people. I wouldnt swim in the pool if you paid me - it was yellow in the bottom. There were people smoking drugs in the pool area when we came home after being out one night. A poor experience and thankfully only there for 2 nights.

We had to complain regarding our first room , entrance was covered in cigarette ash a saucer near ours and next door was absolutely full of butts, disgusting. coffee cups were dirty also. on complaining to management and asking for another room his reply was he would use a blower to clean the area, not acceptable! He the. Said if he can rent that room he would give us another room , finally he gave us another smaller room upstairs, I am 80 years old, have stayed there 3 times before won’t be back , cannot recommend this motel!!

Definitely on the lower end of the rating scale. Positive: the linens were clean, the ac works, easy free parking, and the lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Negative: the stained floors and furniture, and the overall feeling of “not quite clean” was pervasive. The restaurant was closed while we were there (though there are several options very close by).

Love the hotel this is our 2nd stay, the check in is easy, rooms are clean and it’s central - found a great pub around the corner. Would not go back to the restaurant but there are plenty of options around.
