When arriving for a 2 pm check in I was told that they didn't know when the cabin would be ready and that 3 people had called in. We had made plans which meant that we had to drop off our belonging and then go - we arrived @ 2:45. They suggested that we leave our things by the front desk - what?? That made no sense. They didn't have a back up plan They made it my problem I had to "wait" without any answer as to when I could check into my cabin They wanted me to accomodate them but refused a late check out on departure Finally, one of the staff members went and had a look at the room - we were able to check in 10 mts after that By the time we got in the room it was ok. The cabin was nicer than expected and well stocked. The pool was atrocious and the "jacuzzi" was not warm. There was a family there and they dominated the whole space. Overall the location was great, the cabin was nice but the premises was below average and the pool area wasn't nice. I wouldn't go back.

Well located holiday park with nearby playgrounds and lake. Only a short 2min drive to Warrnambool city centre. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Walls are very thin and aircond was only in the main area, so when it gets cold or hot, you will need to leave bedroom doors open for ventilation. Otherwise, well maintained facilities and friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly. Pool was great. Family cabin was dirty and run down. Staff were told. Moyld on window trims. Dust on beds. Not all bed were made up, just sheets left. Shower also not very clean. It was as though we got the cabin that hadnt been booked in a while. You pay for the location I guess, as it was not cheap.

Well maintained property. Staff worked above and beyond to provide extra and adequate bedding, culinary equipment was clean, along with the brand new looking kettle and toaster. The toilet and bathroom were clean with adequate bath towels and bath mats, inclusive of soaps and other toiletries. Overall a very good stay compared to other holiday parks. Will definitely come again.

Stayed in the standard cabin which was definitely showing its age with main bedroom & bathroom being very confined & perhaps unsuitable for the more abundant. Could do with some renovation & tidy up. Floor was not clean (very gritty) & my guess would be either a very dirty mop or mop water - could not walk around the cabin bare foot it was that bad. Overall the park facilities looked ok but having park bins right beside cabin meant listening to everyone throwing their rubbish out during the evening while trying to go to sleep - perhaps these would be better located next to the amenities blocks. While the park is in a good location for beach & Pertobe Rd attractions it is some distance from dining options & at night the streets surrounding the park appear to become a race track / drag strip. For an average of $182 a night it wasnt cheap so a bit disappointing.

Fantastic location. Very close to the beach. The cabin was spacious and modern but it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The walls were heavily marked. Heavy dust buildup under the beds and behind the bedside tables. The shower had a lot of pink and brown scum on the tiles that I cleaned off myself before I dared to use it.

Have stayed in a number of places in Warrnambool and this is definitely one of the best! Motel and cabin accommodation is always clean and has all the facilities for self-catering which is important for us.

Beautiful location however very small park and if you don’t have a balcony there is no where to sit outside near the cabins. Superior Spa cabin very small & dated. Drop the ‘Superior’ and lower expectations and it would be a pleasant unassuming place to stay.

for supposedly superior accommodation the unit was very dated compared to others we have stayed in & nor worth the money paid. lounge unit was very hard to get out of & TV in living area was too small. Rest was OK but in future we will stay at Pt Fairy where we came from in top rated cabins at their Park (Southcombe) & do day trips to Warnambool

We liked the roomy unit we occupied, with its quiet space. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, the only downside was the shower over the hip bath a little concerning for elderly occupants. But manageable. An enjoyable stay.

Room was clean. Location was great in regards to access to the beach and the local park, very convenient to the town centre also. Local 'modified car enthusiats' also enjoyed the road past the property of a Friday night, which is by no means the fault of park managment. Adjoining walls in the units are quite thin. No problem if you have courteous and respectful neighbours.

We have stayed at the Discovery Park many times, and have always had a lovely time, this time however was a little disappointing, one of the kids bunks had a used dirty fitted sheet on the bunk, they did replace this and were very apologic the following day. The main bed was uncomfortable unfortunately, and we both had sore backs and I would suggest removing or replacing the couch cover as it doesn’t look inviting to sit on. Otherwise we had a great stay the cabin itself was mostly clean, good price and staff were very friendly.

The place was SO clean - cleaner than most hotel rooms! The staff are lovely and the rooms are great for when you’re on a budget. They have great facilities and everything you need. Only downside was our heater didn’t work the first night, but Karen from reception was all over it the next morning within 10 minutes! Definitely will be back.

Had a problem with my accommodation which the staff immediately rectified to the extent I was very impressed. They couldn't do enough to help me out and ensure I was comfortable. Very friendly when out in the park - waved and chatting. Was so impressed with all the great walking trails along the coast. Sunset walks around to Thunder Point was stunning. Close by to Port Campbell where there is also great cliff top walking track. Had a day in Portland and spotted a couple of whales in the bay, and lots more walking at Cape Nelson and Cape Breakwater (Great South West Walk)

Overall the park was GREAT!! 🌟 A nice and safe family friendly environment. Very clean and tidy ammenities. Convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen in the cabin which makes life easier with young children. However the only down side was our cabin reeked of what smelt like cat urine, the floor was extremely dirty (had to purchase floor cleaner) and mop over a few times, the beds were also quite hard and uncomfortable which didn’t make it such a great experience (I understand it would be difficult to everyone’s preference). Possibly return in future if we ever pass through again but definitely would recommend! 😄😄

The Receptionist at the Warrnambool branch was so warm and lovely, she was friendly and well presented, didn't rush the process, gave me clear directions to my room, made sure I had all the correct information, and was so kind and helpful. I stayed in a standard motel room, the place was clean and well presented, the kitchenette was in perfect condition and even stocked with all the basics to cook and serve a meal. The grounds were very well kept and I love all the activities and amenities there was to offer. Had a lovely time and are looking forward to the next trip. 10/10 would recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was not impressed that the booking was pay at the property but they were trying to debit me prior to arrival and would cater for our of hours key tell unless it was paid upfront I have stayed in many caravan parks and I was catered for our of hours arrival I had two units booked for three days I had already paid up front for one of them but this one I had a different payment system that required the payment only used apple/google pay and there I had toske other arrangements I could have easily payed in full the next morning but there was no way they would accept payment after checkin

Amazing park. Great cabins and amenities. We had 4 and 6 yr old grandsons with us and they loved it. Right next-door to mini golf, lake pertobe and close to fishing and beach. Team here were so helpful and friendly.
