This place has all the opportunity to be a good hotel. But the small things are bad... You look out the window and you see a dilapidated pool abandoned. The lights between the beds didn't work. I pulled the table out to see if they were plugged in. They were so it was a blown fuse. When I pulled the nightstand out I found a pile of garbage under the nightstand. The desk chair was broken the back leaned so bad you'd think you were in a 64 chev. The bathroom door wouldn't close unless you lifted it up . The secondary lock on the entrance door is broken. The list goes on

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Travelodge in Windsor. I booked this property based on the advertised amenities, specifically the availability of a swimming pool, which was an important factor in my decision. Upon arrival, I was extremely disappointed to find that the pool was not only non-functional, but clearly had not been operational for years, with signs of overgrowth and neglect. Additionally, the condition of the room was unacceptable. Originally our room was on the 2nd floor. However there was no elevator. Having Parkinson's made stairs difficult so thankfully a main floor room was available. But walking in, for some reason the bathroom was like a sauna. There was no plug for coffee maker location. No coffee cups. Only one small soap for showering and hand washing. The jacuzzi was dirty. The blanket wasn't big enough for the bed. Substandard room. No coffee in lobby if you missed breakfast.

Parking lot was full of potholes and not lit up appropriately at night. Not service to the airport, lobby was a muddy mess. No elevators, room was disgusting. The bathtub was cracked and pealing. The carpet throughout was filthy. I have yet to stay at any hotel by Wyndham that is even "OK". Expedia, please, please please break ties with them. Me personally have given them enough opportunity. I wish I'd have been answering these surveys a lon=g time ago. They are gross.....

The room was clean; sheets, pillows, carpet, etc. Radio did not work. Or the phone. Toilet seat very loose (tightened it myself). Swimming pool advertised on website now overgrown with weeds, plants, and trees, like something out of a sci-fi film. Staff helpful in answering questions and queries. A good stay for one night.

We specifically booked this hotel for the price and the pool. Pool was very important to us. When we checked in, they told us the pool was not working. They told us there would be no compensation for that. We were not forewarned of the briken pool. We were very disapointed on arrival. He told us thay the pool had just broken, but by the look of it, it hadnt been open in a very long time. They only gave us 2 towels for the room when 4 of us were staying there. It seemed a birden to them when we asked for more...

The room was not cleaned at all Dirty bath tub. Hair all over the floor The phone had greasy finger prints and crumbs on it. The chair was broken. Couch was dirty. The bed and pillows had persons HAIR on them! the tv had finger prints all over it. The room was WAY over priced for how filthy it was. And the fridge had left over food and garbage inside of it. The bathtub plug was mouldy.

Our room was dirty, furniture broken, stains on walls, and bad smell. The price we paid for this room didn’t match our expectations. The continental breakfast was also very poor. Pancake machine was not working, the juice machine wasn’t working properly either and the juices were not drinkable.

Our room was serviced the first of a two night stay, which is never done these days when we stay at other hotels. Although the hotel is old and there were a few small signs of that, the important things were spotless and the staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again when we visit Windsor.

Overall a decent property for a quick stay. Check in process was very easy. Did have an issue with the TV remote and the staff member was prompt to rectify the issue. They do need to improve their Wi-Fi coverage and services. I could not log into it at all and had to use my phone for an internet connection. Hotel was in a safe area and it was quiet.

The price we had for 2 nights was decent. But our room has an odor of unwashed wet towels or molds, we thought it might go away but it smelled the whole time we were there. Ice machine and the pancake maker was not working during our stay. They have good airconditiong for the room, no elevator, wifi is good, they have enough pillows but some smells so I wasnt sure it was changed before we check in.

This is a nice, very affordable place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. The staff are super friendly and helpful. However, it is a little run down and there are problems that need fixing. This is the second time in a row that Ive stayed and the bathtub does not drain. The fan in the bathroom did not work. The drawer in the nightstand was not put together. All that said, I would stay there again.

I was over charged by $60, I was to pay $271 for 2 nights for my room, I was charged $312 & I noticed this when I was going to entend my stay 1 more night but 15mins after paying for the 3rd night, I had a family emergency & had to cancel I was told I hadn't been charged yet so the $ would be back on my card shortly. When I went to check is when I noticed the charge of $312 & then the 3rd night was supposed to be charged $148 & was charged $170 when I had called I was told the receipt on their end is for $271(even though I have a statement saying $312) I was told by the end of the conversation that if I came in with proof to show being over charged the police would be called on me! Also refused to give me information to contact general manager about this issue. I have worked in customer service for 8 years now & this was the worse customer service experience I have ever had! I would never call a customer a lier & threaten the police when they want to show proof of being over charged I have work

I was on a friends/photography weekend. We stayed 3 nights. This hotel was very quiet and clean. There was a friendly handyman working around the hotel on Friday, he offered to carry in our luggage. I definitely would stay their again. There was a hugh mall beside the hotel,we were walking distance to restaurants.

Upon arrival the front office staff ignored us for more than 10 minutes with not another customer waiting in the reception area. Once greeted the staff struggled with checking us in and continually swiped my credit card. I had to forcibly ask the staff to stop swiping my card. He then asked to keep a photocopy of my card and license id. I declined. Shortly after this he said we could go to our room. My husband was stopped about 5 minutes later asked again for my credit card. The multiple swiping resulted in my card being charged twice for the 2 night stay. After 30 days since my stay and multiple conversations with the manager my card still is not credited the extra charge. Upon arrival in the room, the filth was overwhelming. The sofa was so stained it should never have been in the room. The bathroom tile was broken and you could only open the door part way to get into the bathroom. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. We looked for another hotel to stay but everything in the city was sold out. Approximately 20 minutes after being in our room; the same person who checked us in and conversed with us over 40 minutes attempted to enter our room with their master pass key! If our bar had not been across the door the front desk staff would have been in our room and I had just got out of the shower! I have been in contact with the corporate office of this chain and have started a formal ticket as no person should pay money to stay here.

There is actually nothing bad to say about the hotel. You get what you pay for and it’s not bad. The only thing we didn’t like is that there was a lot of police presence there for the two days we stayed here.

The room was very comfortable . Air conditioning and wifi were fully functional . Daily maid service was provided. Equipped with fridge and microwave. Decent basic breakfast . No electric kettle …only draw back . Had to use microwave to heat water. Out of the town centre so it’s necessary to use the bus.

A cheap no frills option for those wanting to stay a quick night in Windsor. The room was fine (and I got a hot tub suite, which worked well!) but there's not much else to do within the hotel. Breakfast was the regular continental fare (with a pancake machine), coffee was alright. Staff was attentive and answered when needed, but nothing too exceptional. Good stay for the cost.

There is some improvement scope for sure. Cleanliness of the washroom being the biggest one of them. Also it would be great to see all the lights fixtures properly working. The breakfast is good. Would suggest to keep it stocked for the full time of the breakfast. Overall it was a good stay.

When we arrived at the hotel, we immediately noticed broken glass and an old food receipt on the floor — the receipt was dated September 19, which clearly showed the room hadn’t been cleaned for days. The breakfast, which was supposed to be included, was awful. There were only two or three pieces of bread, no fruit, and the pancake machine was broken. The cream cheese container was shared by everyone, which raised serious hygiene concerns — it should have been served individually. It really made me wonder if any health inspectors ever visit this place. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. While we were at the hotel, a man who appeared to be homeless walked into the breakfast area wearing extremely dirty clothes, and there was no staff at the reception to handle the situation. We felt unsafe and decided to leave immediately. Overall, this was a very bad experience — dirty room, poor food, and unsafe environment. I do not recommend this hotel.

Rooms were clean but entire building very dated. Went down for breakfast at 8 am and everything was picked over, coffee was empty, no plates. Had to go ask and they made pot of coffee, brought out plates and added more food. Dead skunk in parking lot all weekend. Looks like it has been there a very long time. People just parking over it. Seems like everything is just neglected.
