Came for a 2 night break. Service was good especially in the restuarant.rooms were good, bed comfy. Pillows far too hard for both myself and my friend. The pool is small. We had treatments booked which were very nice,

Listed building, no stairs. Small fridge. Room was a good size (had the triple). Water pressure was excellent. Very good storage/draws/wardrobe. Probably best I have seen in any hotel. Spa is a little walk on other side of hotel. Spa is small, steam room was not working, pool is small but adequate. Jacuzzi not working. Need £1 coin for locker. Restaurant attached, looked nice did not have time to use/. Large carpark. Would recommend.

I stay here because of the secure parking and it’s in a quiet area, however the hotel is starting to get tired and some of the rooms really need to be updated

We were told on arrival we couldn't use the pool or gym with my 17 year old son even though it was empty shower was terrible, poor water pressure and the temp was very hot no matter how much I tried to change it The toilet role holder was on upside down so the toilet roll wouldnt stay on Staff were less than helpful. would not recommend to anyone!

Clean throughout the hotel and spa, attentive staff, great breakfast, very comfy bed. Only negatives were that you can hear a fair bit of noise from the corridor and room above (slamming doors and shouting, but you wouldn't hear a normal conversation), and there is no lift which could be a problem for people with mobility issues, but thankfully this didn't affect us. Overall a great stay, and we will definitely look at booking here again next time we need to be in the West Midlands.

Stayed for a business trip in a superior king room. I can’t fault the hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and food (including breakfast) was excellent. There was some noise through the walls, however nothing that can’t be resolved with earplugs. Easy parking, good gym facilities. Aircon amongst the best I have experienced in a hotel in the UK. I would definitely stay again

Unfortunately both the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable at the time of our stay. We had booked specifically for this and didn’t know until we arrived that it was closed. Sadly, staff weren’t very helpful and just told us to speak with Expedia. When we did this, Expedia could not do anything about it as they couldn’t get in touch with anyone from the hotel even though they tried to contact them multiple times!

Its was a nice stay the staff was nice aswell the food was amazing too. And dessert was really good aswell... i would say doe the coffee was not good at all the breakfast wad really good did really enjoy myself doe the pool not good at all sauan and stream was ok gym was poor was not good at all need updating

My initial room had a damp carpet. I was then given a room one floor above and the shower had a blocked drain so water was draining very slowly and would have flooded the bathroom gad i not stopped halfway through my shower to give it some time to drain! The shower head needed to be propped up against the wall to stay in the holder and shower controls barely turned to change water temperature. The hallways smelt of damp/drains.. Not would i would have expected!

Overall the hotel was amazing, the staff were polite and parking was very convenient. The only issue I had was in the room when I arrived there were some previous stains from food/drink in the carpet and on the curtains

Hairs absolutely everywhere on all the towels on the floor and in the bed including a bundle of fluff and hair in the towel folded on the bed. Made me question if the place had been cleaned before we arrived. Other that that no complaints but feeling like you are staying in a used room gives gives no choice other than a one star

Definitely not the luxury stay we were expecting despite the hotel looking so pretty on arrival. We needed a fridge to store food so paid the extra for a family room. It was pretty shabby, bathroom needed a refurb, really dirty headboard on the bed, big black marks on net curtains, leaves on floor. No soap in the bathroom or vanity products and only one tiny shampoo and body wash. No bottled water in the room. The fridge didn't even work and the duty manager tried to persuade us it was working when clearly it wasn't. Eventually he said we could put the food in the hotel kitchen. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice if you wanted a cooked buffet, but not the variety or selection or service we expected from this type of hotel. You also have to take a receipt with you to prove you've paid for it! Bonkers! Make sure you put your car details into the terminal in reception or you'll get a FPN too! Sadly, disappointed with our stay and apart from the lovely lady on reception, the staff weren't great.

While the staff were gracious and accommodating, the facilities have seen better days. The hotel has an odor, perhaps from humidity or allowing pets. Further, there was a big event and guests were smoking on premises, causing the hallways and our room to smell and triggering our allergies.

What a terrible experience. I have never left a bad review for a hotel before. However my complaints and those of the hotels.com staff on my behalf have been ignored. I was traveling with my 13 year old daughter as she was competing on the Saturday and in the England development training camp on the Sunday. We were put in Room 39. It was very small but seemed clean and comfortable enough. It was just at the top of the staircase and the only room between 2 fire doors. There was a function on at the hotel as it was a Saturday night - i understand some noise from this is to be expected. The large staircase sounds hollow underneath so boomed when groups of rowdy function guests went up and down them from about 10.30 - 2.30am. We could hear every word, scream, laugh etc. As the fire door was opened the vacuum made our room door shake loudly in its frame then the fire door banged shut (twice) behind them. Then they opened the next fire door and it was all repeated. This was pretty relentless until around 2.30-3 am. To top it off the blind in our room was not black out and didnt fit the window so we were awake at 5am. The next morning Riley on reception explained the hotel manager was not working and no one knew his hours for that day and he was in charge of the hotel. He said that room 39 is only ever let out if the hotel is completely fully booked as they are aware of the noise issues. I booked several weeks ago yet the rooms are randomly allocated each morning.

Nice hotel, only issue was with dinner service had to wait for food for over 45 minutes and all did not come at once. Then a further 15 minutes for the last meal to come out which was missing part of the ingredients, offered a substitute but really should have made us aware they were out of ingredients. Chops were under cooked also. TV in room was not working correctly.

It’s a lovely hotel and the food was very good .. the hotel room was like a sauna which made it very uncomfortable and I personally got no sleep at all Room has aircon which made zero difference, the burning hot towel rail that you can’t turn off wouldn’t have helped

The room was big and comfortable and the shower was very powerful which was nice. Reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine. Air conditioning worked really well but made an annoying noise. Had a message before I checked in suggesting I download an app. I used this app to book a table for dinner but when we checked in they didn't have the booking, and it turned out it had booked me a table at a different hotel in another part of the country. I double checked and I definitely chose the right hotel on the app, so evidently there is an issue with the app. I also had an issue with the spa - I had booked a treatment which I ended up having to cancel. I tried to cancel online but it said I had to ring a number, which was not in service. So I left a message with reception and I also emailed, but evidently they didn't get either of these messages because I had a call asking where I was. Overall a nice hotel but a few small issues. Location a bit weird, on the edge of a housing estate, was expecting more rural. But otherwise good.

Unfortunately our stay wasn't great.. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. the fridge in the room didn't work. the building is tired and needs some work. Sadly we were kept awake till 4am with young guests running between rooms!

We arrived at 1:55pm and had a phone call 5 mins previous to say that our reservation had been cancelled. There was no longer a room available for us. This was after a 5 hour car journey and we were delivering training to a host of Schools at 3:30pm

Room felt neglected. The tv wasn’t working called someone out they came and ‘fixed it’ nothing changed then we got ignored 4 times on the phone and when they finally answered they said they would come and no one showed up for 1:10,mins by that time we were asleep so I didn’t answer the door

My brother and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 83 year old Mum who struggles with mobility. Upon check in we were given a room on the 2nd floor but there was no lift. Hotel was fully booked so we had no choice than to somehow manage Mum up the stairs. The following morning, Pat saw Mum was struggling and unbeknown to us mentioned it at the reception desk. We went out for the day but it wasn't long before Sukhy (aka Vicky) rang and said they had managed to juggle room bookings so for our remaining 2 nights, we could stay in a ground floor room. We were extremely grateful for this and made things a lot easier for our Mum. Many thanks and sorry this review has taken a while to send

Unfortunately both the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable at the time of our stay. We had booked specifically for this and didn’t know until we arrived that it was closed. Sadly, staff weren’t very helpful and just told us to speak with Expedia. When we did this, Expedia could not do anything about it as they couldn’t get in touch with anyone from the hotel even though they tried to contact them multiple times!

Lovely, lovely hotel. Very wa as it snowed outside. You could put the heating up to 30°C which is amazing, felt lovely and toasty. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet, filled me up well into lunch. Sauna fantastic. Went everyday of my stay. Location, it's close to an Aldi and a large Tesco.

I stay here because of the secure parking and it’s in a quiet area, however the hotel is starting to get tired and some of the rooms really need to be updated

Nice hotel but its in a very residential area, unfortunately I didn't use the spa as I was there for work, but hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast was good too, lots of free parking and just 2.5 miles to the centre of Wolverhampton, parking in town is not great, so I took a taxi for £8 each way

Not sure what is meant by 'area around the property'. The grounds look good but driving in was a bit 'iffy'. Hotel and spa were great, as were the staff. My room was just right.

Concern over a room service tray with meat products being left outside a room for over 12 hours. Was outside a guest's room when we arrived around 2200hrs and still their when we were heading out the following day 1000hrs the next morning. Room service team said they had only just started work thus on not yet moved, however staff were present placing bedding etc when a fire alarm activated at around 0830. Restaurant struggled with our order and then when a cocktail drink arrived (was very nice so not objecting) it was noted it had different ingredients to what was said in your menu. This is a potential allergy risk, one of my friends would be very ill is he was with us! It was noted a refund on the bill was provided so thank you.

What a fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, great amenities and great location. First morning we were let down by the water pressure but were offered another room to shower in until it was fixed. The hotel work force had it fixed by lunchtime. Food at the hotel was outstanding and generous, it was surprisingly affordable for the standard of food.

The clean and tidy and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast quality could have been improved. The breakfast availability was limited and we had to ask the staff for various items. The food was cold in parts, a microwave to allow quests to warm up their food would have helped.

The room was comfortable and clean.. Nice shower and bathroom TV channels a bit confusing, but good TV. The food was stunning.... Fabulous Indian and Lebanese food on offer, plus usual burgers, steaks etc.. Very impressed by the food... With good, friendly estaurant service

Parking and charging was fine. Breakfast was stone cold. Restaurant meal took exceptionally long to come out. 6 people that sat after us were served first. Fries came out last after the mains had been served

I stay in chain hotels regularly and suffer the average to un-interesting food all the time. Not so at Park Hall Hotel. The food was really tasty, the people were great and the room was a refreshing step up from anodyne chain hotel blandness.

What a lovely hotel! Spent one night to break up journey to Wales. Had a family room for two of us and it was immaculate . Huge big shower and the most comfy beds EVER. The breakfast is to die for. Cooked fresh with amaxing ingredients, while you help yourself to fruit,yoghurt,cereals etc etc Brilliant

The room was supposed to be a king size bed but it was a double bed. They charged £3.50 for a tea in the bar but we were given a mug with a tea bad in it rather than a teapot full. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was shocking, coffee ran out, tea was weak and stewing in a flask. Ran out of pastries, plates very cold and cooked breakfast items cold. Complained to manager who was rude and told me to contact through website. I persevered and he eventually refunded cost of breakfast.

The hotel, staff and breakfast were great. The only thing I would say is that food although looked good , did not taste as it should sadly! It could be oil that it was fried in and needed replacing. Otherwise everything was very good.

Bel hôtel confortable. La climatisation était trop forte au restaurant et les serveurs un peu perdus. Mais ce qui m’a énervé c’est que nous n’avons pas pu avoir notre petit-déjeuner à 9hoo car celui-ci n’est servi que jusqu’à 8h30 (11h le week-end). Cela était inscrit sur une feuille qu’on nous a donné mais je ne l’ai pas lue car je n’ai jamais raté un petit-déjeuner dans un hôtel. Comment un 4* peut-il faire cela ? Et on ne nous a même pas proposé un café ou un thé.

The hotel was clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable and I liked that there was a mini fridge in the room for someone who has young kids that's great to pop some juice in past the usual tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and tidy with no broken bits. We had a meal in the evening and that was amazingly nice and didn't break the bank. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was great quality and had a good selection. There was disabled parking right outside the reception which was a great. Only bit that was a downside for us on this trip was the swimming pool is 18+ my 9 year old was a little sad about that. But the place is clean the staff are great the food was lovely and it was a good chunk cheaper than bland chain hotels which are never as nice or as clean.
