Front desk staff was very kind and helpful at check-in. Property is next to metro station making it very easy to access the city. Restaurants were wonderful. Had an issue with our shower drain - staff dealt with it promptly. We would definitely stay here again.

The service was excellent. We arrived in the morning and wanted to just drop off our suitcases. Within 1 hour, our room was ready and it was perfect because we were all jet lagged and needed a nap. Room service was done every time we came back and we came back each day ant different times. The attentiveness was impressing. Every drink in the room was complimentary and room service offered to refill them each night. We loved and enjoyed the amenities inside the hotel especially the gym. We felt welcomed by the entire staff every day and night. Great coffee and cappuccino. This would’ve been my 5 star review but here are my turn offs: *the room was uncontrollably dusty. We had to wipe screens on our iPads and iPhones every morning because it was covered in dust from being on the desks and table. I had to buy allergy medicine because I’m allergic to dust. *the room temperature was uncomfortably warm at times. We went to Milan during the heat wave and the room climate control does not go lower than 16C. *during the 3rd day of our stay, we came back to the hotel and our water was brown in the sink and shower. We had to run the water for awhile and the color changed back. The next time I’m in Milan, I will research on if my turn offs are common in hotels in Milan. If so, I will give this hotel another chance in the future.

Greta 4 nights to begin our tour of Italy. Service here is wonderful and extremely friendly. The rooms are huge by European standard with over sized king beds. The location is good for short cab rides to the train station or city center. Not much around as far as walking but there is an STK steakhouse across the street we enjoyed and the restaurant/ bar in the hotel is beautiful and has good food, which is nice after a long day out sight seeing.

We enjoyed staying at the Westin, Milan . Especially happy with Chef at the restaurant that had innovative design and flavor for our dinners there. Fillippo, our waiter was outstanding! He knew everything the chef portrayed and explained in an amazing manner. His suggestions were spot on! Bravo!

This property has so much potential for being incredible, however… it’s just really good. The bellmen were outstanding!!! Everyone of them, every time I need to leave the hotel, or arrive to the hotel! No need for Uber when a taxi is only a 2 min wait. Unfortunately, for us, it rained our whole stay so the rooftop bar wasn’t open. I really wanted to experience that. The bar downstairs, was incredibly beautiful, but unbelievably empty on a Saturday night! I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why. My room was massive! My girlfriend, &. I both showered at the same time in different showers! Which is probably great, if you wait until the last min to get ready in the morning, and are running behind. lol The room also had a Suna, or steam room in it! My room seriously needed to be updated! However, my Tv was huge, & my bed was incredibly soft, & comfortable! The front desk had the kitchen prepare my girlfriend, & I 2 box breakfasts to go! We had breakfast included, but we had to be at the meeting point for our tour to Portofino at 7am the same time breakfast opens at the hotel. Had a great stay at the Westin, just wish my room was updated!

This hotel had no running water or AC for most of our stay, after a two hour power outage. Water pumps apparently don’t work on generator power, didn’t work even hours after power was restored. Complete disaster would never stay here again.

We stayed at the Westin Palace for 5 nights and we were horrified by the low level of hygiene and cleaninless they have. When we arrived at our room, we found an open intimate gel that they put as complimentary toiletry and I tossed it in the trash can, just to find out that the cleaning service took it out of the trash can and put it as she had replace it with a new one. On the third night we ran out of shower gel and we kindly ask the reception to please send it to our room… We had to wait two days to receive shower gel even though we asked various times. Lastly, one night we ordered some food and drinks to our room, the other morning the cleaning staff left the bottles at the hallway ( i assume for someone at the hotel to pick it up and clean the space), the hallway had the bottles and plates from our room as well other rooms for two nights, and no one cleaned it. This is not a 5 star hotel and definitely should’t be advertised as one. Very dissappinted.

The hotel is beautiful! The lobby is gorgeous but I don’t like the rooms. The carpet is a big turn off and the bathrooms are old. The rooms are tiny and outdated and not worth the price. I had allergies the entire night due to the carpet. The positive side is that they do have room service and the bed and bedding was comfortable.

Room was very very small and next to the elevator. The bathroom was in terrible shapes the door frame was rotted and the door handle fell off twice. I had to complain to have it repaired. They didn’t clean the room unless I asked. The breakfast buffet was also very limited for 37 euro per person. I am a huge Westin fan, this properly was not up to their normal standard.

Hotel lobby looks nice but my room 722 was not in great condition, looked tried and need of refresh. Cabinet with mini bar was too close to bed so only opened partially and the door handle was broken and falling off. Bathroom was too small for the facilities in there. I am small but a larger person would not of fit in the shower cubicle, and water was all over the floor. Cost for this hotel was quite high so I would have expected better. Don’t mind paying but expect to receive higher quality.

I am a Marriot Bonvoy platinum elite. The AC on our room didn't work from the start. We talked to the concierge 3 different times about the AC. We stayed for 5 days. Great location. Property is in excelent condition. Rooms are clean and big for Europe standard. Couldn't get the temprerature under 19°C so sleeping was uncomortable as I like a cold room but seems to ba problem across Italy in general.

And, not as quiet as you'd think. Some of the rooms are set-up away from the common area hallways. I was thrilled to find our room set-back from the hall and even with a second door closing off the sleeping area. But, our quiet retreat was disturbed every night when our upstairs neighbor came in. Definitely not soundproofed rooms.

El check in fue muy deficiente y lento. Del cuarto tenia una pregunta y nunca contestó nadie en conserje ni front desk, tuve que hablar a un numero exterior a resolver. El valet MUY descortes, hasta grosero. Realmente no fue de ninguna ayuda ningun empleado del hotel, es poco probable que regrese, ademas muy caro!

At check in they gave us the wrong room. The booking was for a room with two twin beds. Instead I got a room for one king size bed. I went down to ask to change and there was a long queue at the reception. Only one person doing check-in and at least 10 people on line. I finally get a room with two twin beds but I was downgraded. I got a standard room but paid for a superior room. At that point I was too tired to go back on complain. All this is really unacceptable for a five star hotel.

Staff were mostly rude. We have been overcharged since our check out by approx £300, despite us telling the receptionist that we did not have any room service or bar food as had been charged to our room. We now have the drama of having to claim this money back from overseas. Terrible behaviour

The location is good for short cab rides to the train station or city center. Room was very very small and next to the elevator. The bathroom was in terrible shapes the door frame was rotted and the door handle fell off twice. I had to complain to have it repaired. They didn’t clean the room unless I asked. The breakfast buffet was also very limited for 37 euro per person. I am a huge Westin fan, this properly was not up to their normal standard.

We enjoyed staying at the Westin, Milan . Especially happy with Chef at the restaurant that had innovative design and flavor for our dinners there. Fillippo, our waiter was outstanding! He knew everything the chef portrayed and explained in an amazing manner. His suggestions were spot on! Bravo!

This hotel was ok. I would not rate this as a 5 star luxury hotel, more like an average 4 star hotel. Valet parking was ok but not as easy as it could have been. Be careful with your timing of your arrival if you are coming from the US, or I guess anywhere from NA or SA. Flights land pretty early in the morning but the hotel does not 'guarantee" room occupancy until 2PM. At least they don't when you book via Expedia, as I arrived at 11am was told my room just needed to be cleaned, waited 2 hours and saw so many people come in and get rooms ahead of me. I only got in to my room after 2 hours because I finally confronted the desk person and said I don't care what room I get just give me one. And I am also a Marriot Bonvoy member, So be careful or you will end up jet lagged and unhappy like I was. Never been treated like this before. Very disappointing.
