Stayed at Milan for 4 nights , overall a good hotel and in very good conditions Only exception is there is only one passenger lift and it takes a long time during peak hours so guest have to use the stairs.

Hotel is pretty and room big and comfy. Breakfast is really good (gluten free basket) and the staff in the morning and at night is great. Almost 7 blocks from Milano centrale and 2 blocks from a metro station. Check in was long! almost 30 minutes waiting because they are slow. The real down side is the inefficient key system: everyday, everytime you had to go downstairs to get a new key since all of the sudden they-ll stop working (even not put near cellphone or other cards)

It started with the first night when we wanted to go to the restaurant downstairs to have dinner as we were tired from the journey. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t working and no one said anything to us when we were checking in. Next day when the restaurant was working we were served bread from the morning which was extremely dry. Food was also not great. Ordered pasta with ragu meat and it was one of the driest pastas ive had. Breakfast was okay as it had all the basics like eggs and fruits. Service was always very nice and welcoming. Weirdly my card kept gettIng deactivated so when i was coming back from a long day of walking had to come back down to get it activated. The one thing that really made up for the service was a very nice note acknowledging the occasion of our stay which was my Moms birthday. Hotel over all is in a good location and you can comfortably walk to the duomo in under 45 mins lots of stores and shopping along the way. Wont be coming back to that hotel as it didn feel like 4 star even though we got charged for 4 star hotel tourist fee.

Sehr gutes Hotel in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes. Zwei Metrostationen in wenigen Gehminuten Distanz. Der Corso Buenos Aires ist auch in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind angenehm gross und sehr leise. Alles ist sehr sauber und das Bett ist riesig und bequem. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück ist super und auf Wunsch wird der Espresso und Cappuccino von der Barkaffemaschine serviert. Einzig die Garage ist mit 30 Eur pro Tag ein bisschen teuer. Schade, dass es keine Lademöglichkeit für Elektrofahrzeuge gibt.

Older property but decent sized room. No smart TV which was disappointing as they are. a4-star hotel. They don’t give an iron due to safety reasons which was also very strange. The AC is okay, nothing great. Breakfast is decent. Great location if you want to be close to the central station.

Doria Grand Hotel is overall, a good place to stay. The property is near the Milano Central Station, approximately 10 minutes walk. It is also near the Metro station which we used to go back and forth around the Duomo and other attractions at the center of Milan. The rooms are nice and clean. We got two connecting rooms. One room for my wife and I and the other room for our kids ages 13 and 11 which they loved. The staff were really nice and hospitable. It is also nice that they have a restaurant which was helpful when we were too tired to go out and find a place where we can eat. There are good restaurants nearby but it was convenient for us to stay in. It was raining at that time. They also serve breakfast with decent selections. It was certainly nice to fill the tank before exploring the city. The only negative is that there is still only one elevator that is available for guests. It was pretty busy when we were there particularly during breakfast hours, so it can be a long wait. I hesitated to book here after reading some reviews when I was looking for a hotel. I still booked it thinking it will be fixed by the time we stayed. It wasn’t. Luckily, a staff was kind to let use their service elevator which we did a couple of times when we have a booking at the Duomo and in a rush But we did not want to always use it since the staff use it. Other than the elevator, it is really a nice and convenient place to stay and the price is reasonable.

Stayed 5 nights here recently, overall not a bad stay. I got a single room with a small bed, when i actually booked a queen sized bed. They said they were fully booked and couldn't change. Due to my height I always book a queen or king bed, ended up uncomfortable nights. Requested locked room safe to be unlocked. They said it would be next day when the guy who could do it was back in. Re Requested later, still never opened. Those problems aside, the staff were what help make my stay quite pleasant overall. The breakfast was okay and the staff there were incredible in a very busy environment. Saverio and the other older gentleman in the bar were excellent and deserve a special mention. Very clean and spacious, both the room and bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water. Wifi was very slow, but good security. Milan Centrale Station is close by which is a major plus for coming and going, 3 metro stations close by on various lines. Supermarket across the road. The place was obviously quite something in its day. A bit tired now, but in the end the staff were what made it all good for me, so thankyou to all. Would probably stay again.

Hotel was lovely. Everywhere clean and pristine. Breakfast plentiful and good choice. Hotel was 45 min walk to Duomo. Metro, bus, trams within a couple of minutes walk. Definitely come back on another visit. I thought tourist tax steep €7pppn, nothing to do with hotel but keep this in mind

Easy check in. Nice hotel. The room looked clean and neat until I started walking barefoot into the room. It was very dusty ! And then I looked much deeper and it wasn't that clean.

I liked the hotel, but what I didn’t like, was that it was not clean. I took a shower and after walking back into the bedroom (from the shower), my feet were really dirty from dust and dirt. I asked the person at the front desk to have it cleaned, (which she assure me would happen) but the same thing happened the second day. It just gave me an overall feeling that the place was dirty….

For the modest price we paid, we expected the Doria would be "Grand" in name only and possibly a bit tired. Our room and the public areas of the hotel were immaculate and rather classy. The service was first-class and the location, just 5 mins walk from Milan Central Station was perfect. Excellent breakfast included in the rate we paid

Staff were nice. Nice breakfast. Upon arrival in room opened closet and found underwear hanging to dry on hangers from last guests. Otherwise the room and bathroom were fine.

Hotel is in a convenient location from train station. Easy transportation on the corner from the hotel to explore Milan. Area seems a bit run down with a lot of graffiti, but this issue seems to be a problem all through the city. Rooms are spacious, beds a bit too firm and pillows need to be improved as there was not much fill in them. Breakfast was good. We would consider staying again for all the conveniences.

This is a gorgeous hotel very close to Milan Central train station. It is also walking distance to metro stations on two different lines. The hotel was clean and appeared well-maintained. The room was large (with room for a large bed and small seating area), the bathroom was large with a decent over-bath shower, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a plentiful help-yourself buffet, with meats, cheeses, toasts, pastries, coffee etc.

Fint rom og ganske rent Frokost var bra, men alt for liten servering benk. Bare i et hjørne og det står alltid folk i kø. veldig kaldt på badegulv. Fikk ikke til å stille Safe box virker ikke. Jeg har rapportert, men det blir ikke løs problem

Grei og sunn frokost med det som vi forventer å ett hotell. Rene flotte rom med bra lydisolering. Fantastisk hyggelig personale. Sentralt plassert i henhold til shopping.

We only stayed overnight as it’s very close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The room was clean and spacious.

Older property but decent sized room. No smart TV which was disappointing as they are. a4-star hotel. They don’t give an iron due to safety reasons which was also very strange. The AC is okay, nothing great. Breakfast is decent. Great location if you want to be close to the central station.

Appena in camera ( ore 17) mi rendo conto che la tv non funzionava . Lo segnalo e chiedo che al rientro sia apposto. Rientro alle 23,30 ma niente Mi mandano un cameriere che conferma il non funzionamento. Dicono che il tecnico sarà in hotel la mattina seguente ma gli faccio presente che per me è importante la tv prima di addormentarmi. Alle 24,15 mi propongono il cambio camera.......

Stayed 5 nights here recently, overall not a bad stay. I got a single room with a small bed, when i actually booked a queen sized bed. They said they were fully booked and couldn't change. Due to my height I always book a queen or king bed, ended up uncomfortable nights. Requested locked room safe to be unlocked. They said it would be next day when the guy who could do it was back in. Re Requested later, still never opened. Those problems aside, the staff were what help make my stay quite pleasant overall. The breakfast was okay and the staff there were incredible in a very busy environment. Saverio and the other older gentleman in the bar were excellent and deserve a special mention. Very clean and spacious, both the room and bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water. Wifi was very slow, but good security. Milan Centrale Station is close by which is a major plus for coming and going, 3 metro stations close by on various lines. Supermarket across the road. The place was obviously quite something in its day. A bit tired now, but in the end the staff were what made it all good for me, so thankyou to all. Would probably stay again.

This hotel claim to be Grand, maybe 100 years ago. Decor is depressing, dark but worse the staff treat you like you are a nuisance. The guy that checked us in was great but it was down hill from there. It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel ever. The set up for breakfast has everyone forced into a triangular area to get bad food. We booked 3 nights, had breakfast once and then checked out a day early leaving 300 on the table just to get out of there. Staff are very rude, especially the maid. I asked the concierge to recommend a steak restaurant within walking distance and she responded “I don’t know,” the next day we left and drove about 400 feet and turned right and sure enough there was a steak restaurant right there. This is an old rundown and dark hotel. Certainly not more than a two star at most. I cannot describe how bad the breakfast was. We left and drove to Florence where the staff at our hotel smiled and welcomed us with good morning and how was your staff questions. When we checked out a day early from the Andria Doria as we now call it the front desk agent didn’t even as why. Maybe he already knew.

Overall the room, hotel, and breakfast were all great. The problem I had was that my flights changed and I need to change my reservation dates. I called the hotel and the staff would not allow me to change dates. When I asked to talk to the manager they hung up the phone. I called back and they hung up on me again. This happened several more times. The staff would not let me talk to the manager.

The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Without provocation they accused upon the best Metro tickets to purchase, the best routes to take to get too or destinations etc. They kept the bar open when we got back late and provided little snacks and treats. Sehr angenehmes Hotel, wir wurden freundlich Empfangen. Das Zimmer war ruhig, sauber und die Betten bequem. Leider war das Personal beim Frühstück ( 7.30-10.00 Uhr )sehr unfreundlich, es wurde um 9.30 Uhr wenig nachgefüllt. Das Frühstück war mit sehr viel süßes bestück. Lokale Spezialitäten kaum vorhanden.

This hotel is a 1.5 star at best. The staff made us feel like we were a nuisance. The guy that checked us in was very good unfortunately we never saw him again. I asked for a recommendation for a restaurant with in walking distance and the concierge told me she didn’t know and never even looked up from the papers she was working on.

Hotel was lovely. Everywhere clean and pristine. Breakfast plentiful and good choice. Hotel was 45 min walk to Duomo. Metro, bus, trams within a couple of minutes walk. Definitely come back on another visit. I thought tourist tax steep €7pppn, nothing to do with hotel but keep this in mind

The hotel itself was amazing, and the receptionist was absolutely professional and kind. Many thanks to him for the room upgrade. The only downside is that the area around the hotel doesn’t feel very safe, as it’s just a few steps from Milano Centrale.

The hotel itself was lovely and conveniently located within walking distance of Milan Central Station. However, the surrounding area felt unsafe, especially at night. I was unfortunately robbed by local assailants at near the circle, and our tour group consistently felt anxious walking to and from the hotel and train station. It would be reassuring to see more visible police patrols in the evenings to help deter crime. Overall, we didn’t feel that Milan offered a secure environment for tourists—our group experienced multiple attempted pickpocket incidents during our stay.

Great location, close to both the main station and subway. Room was lovely. Breakfast would have been so much better if the hotel reconfigure the current layout. Currently everyone is funnelled into a small triangular area with little means of escape once you have got your coffee etc.

Mostly good place, close to subway and main train station. Old with some modern improvements that don’t make any sense: that’s a waste of money, but not service people fault. Very negative note: breakfast team is very negative, one can feel like not being welcomed there. Few food choice, industrial grade food and the big issue : they are cleaning the tables and the chairs with the same( only one!!!) wet cloth. Disgusting and not hygienic at all!!!we stayed there a whole week: we were hoping it will get better, but no chance…Too bad for such a place!

For the modest price we paid, we expected the Doria would be "Grand" in name only and possibly a bit tired. Our room and the public areas of the hotel were immaculate and rather classy. The service was first-class and the location, just 5 mins walk from Milan Central Station was perfect. Excellent breakfast included in the rate we paid

There was a very nice restaurant in the hotel but they had a private event every night. We couldn’t eat there any time during our stay except breakfast. Otherwise no complaints.

They advertised as having a shuttle service from Linate airport. When I rang I was told there wasn’t one and we should take a taxi. I then double checked and it clearly stated there was a shuttle. I tried to ring back twice but was left on hold for 20 mins each time which cost a fortune from London. They clearly stop answering the phones after 7pm. Otherwise Charles from the front desk was very helpful but their advertising and phone answering is poor.
