Our stay at The Nuovo Albergo was great... the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, clean crisp sheets, comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. The staff was fantastic and helpful, (especially Laura, thank you for all), and the complimentary breakfast is fresh and varied. The hotel is perfectly located in the old city for walking and visiting. The street entrance however, does not do it justice as it is quite dark and could use some improvement.

This hotel was basic but our room had a private bathroom and Air conditioning. 6 stairs to the elevator so not completely accessible however they did have a wheelchair lift. Area around the hotel was safe feeling and close to shopping and restaurants. Great stopover hotel before or after a cruise.

Hotel con reception dalle 8.00 alle 20 senza bar interno e senza una hall comune in cui intrattenersi la sera. Se piove si sta in camera senza alcun servizio. L'entrata dell' hotel è un portone di condominio. Certo è un hotel a due stelle e bisogna aspettarsi questo. I prezzi degli hotel a Trieste sono carissimi. Città bella ma troppo cara.

Very well located c75mtrs from Trieste Grand Canal mid point. Great for dining and bars. Unprepossessing entrance directly off street and on first floor. Rooms fit and function well. Breakfast is continental and very homely. Good quality. Had a 7 night stay. Would visit again.

Perfect for us transiting over night. 10 min to the Grande Canal one way and 10 min to the train station the other. It was about a 17 minute walk from the cruise ship and really easy to find. Nice room with really great noise-cancelling windows to the street noise. Room was really nice and the breakfast was A M A Z I NG!!
