Everything was pretty decent very nice parking area able to park right in front of your room it was pretty clean. Just had a problem with the smell of the room as it was a no smoking room, but smelled like smoke

Though I requested a non smoking room it had the odor of cigarette smoke in the room. I stayed last year and the property was not good. This year you can see how much improvement they have done. The pool needs work. And the breakfast could use some revamping!

I had no issues with the staff or the cleanliness of the property. We didn’t use any of the amenities other than the ice machine, but it worked well. Our room was comfortable. The Wi-Fi could have been a little better, as well as the reception on the television, but neither of these affected our stay. The hotel is an older design where the rooms open up to the parking lot. I didn’t mind this, in fact, it was what we were looking for. The hotel looks like it is undergoing some minor renovations but the renovations did not affect our stay. There isn’t much to do around the hotel. But better dining options are not far away. This hotel was fairly priced. we booked online about 30 minutes before checking in and had no issues.

My only complaint about this one night stay is addressed to Hotels.com who listed that this location of Quality Inn in Trussville Alabama had an elevator which it does not. Arriving late with a companion in a wheelchair and second floor rooms was a fail. Thankfully, the person on desk duty immediately worked with us, found rooms on the ground floor and saved this stopover.

Bugs in the bed. Room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned very well. We were moved to another room. That room was cleaner but smelled like weed. We could hardly breathe because of the smell. Very loud neighbors outside until after 10 pm. Would not recommend

Expect every room to smell like smoke, even the non-smoking rooms. The rooms were dirty. The door to the room they put us in didn't even close all the way, and the safety latch was broken off. It looks like the door had been kicked in at some point. Just all around terrible hotel would not recommend.

There was a 2 inch gap around the door so when the neighbors were smoking marijuana, the wafts of voter were coming in… I should’ve known not to take the room when I first pulled up to the office and it smelt like that right outside the office. Do not stay here! I wish I can leave a picture on here to show the door. The sheets had holes and some small stains and the towels had stains as well. It was a nasty place to stay even for the price. Needless to say I didn’t even stay for the breakfast.

This hotel should have paid me $150 to stay there. By far the filthiest hotel I’ve stayed at booking through Hotels.com. Disgusting stained towels, cigarette burns in the bed sheets in a non-smoking room, and a glob of hair the size of a cat on the shower wall indicating that the room had not even been cleaned since the last guest left.

I won’t be staying here at this location again.. we got to the room and found a small roach. Later that night we found another! Then the next morning a much bigger roach in the shower.. I called the front desk to make them aware and they said that they don’t have roaches .. ok?! Well I asked to move to another room.. finally after having to get the key reset multiple times to open the door we finally got in to find mold on the bed skirt and hair in the shower.. I give up!!

The top cover on the bed had alot of stains on it the shower head in the bathroom need to be replaced its dirty the room overall need to be renovated the guy that check me in wanted to put me in a room that have ax leaking but his supervisor heard him and said no put him in another room. That was crazy this place is just to stop in if u traveling and need to sleep thats it

The room had a musty odor upon entering. I am convinced it is due to a high humidity level that is partially due to the type of A/C unit and that the "non-smoking room had been smoked in at some point. I was pleased to see the floor had been updated to a laminate of some sort thing it would be cleaner but when I steped in the shower unfortunately I immediately saw the dreaded black footprints. I would have to say, I would not recommend this hotel unless there are some significant upgrades.

We came down from Tennessee for a family funeral. The floor was so filthy, my feet were black. I told the guy at the desk and he said it was because they have wood floor. Have stayed at many motels with wood floors and never have my feet got so nasty. We had to wear shoes, the whole time we were in the room. We stayed in this hotel because of the convenience of the closeness to family, but will not next trip. Wish I could send you the picture I took of my feet from the first night.. Horrible

The room smelled like smoke and it was a non-smoking room. We had a very hard time sleeping because you could hear noise coming from both rooms on each side of ours and you could also hear people walking upstairs over our room. In other words it was to noisy. Also there was to much light coming in around the door at night.

Reported TV was only receiving 4 channels. No repair.was done during my 5 day stay. People.partying until 3.am . Front desk made no attempt to quiet them or end the activity.

The staff wasn’t friendly and didn’t answer the phone. Our towels and face cloths were stained. The linen was dingy. The absolute minimum was offered for breakfast. Parking lot and walkways were full of cigarette butts.

The room itself was so so. My issue was with Management. We were told by management, that we could not get any clean towels, until the general manager came in, which was 9am. We had a meeting at the same time. So consequently we had to use the same soiled towels. Also the room was to be cleaned, only by request! Needless to say we will never come back!!!!!!!

Our check in was great. Gentleman was very efficient and courteous. Our room was clean. We went to have breakfast and the sign was up that they closed at 9 am, however it was only 8am. The waffle maker was not on. No one was in there for assistance. I went to the front desk to see if they were indeed closed and was told no. She came in and turned the waffle iron on but had no knowledge of how to prepare it for use. Needless to say we just had coffee.

The room was clean but a bit dated and over all more than adequate. The problem was that our room was not cleaned and replenished with fresh towels. When we inquired as to why we were told that the housekeeping assigned to our room said that we requested it not be cleaned. Nothing could be further from the truth. We never saw or talked to and staff other than in the office. Very disappointing.

the breakfast had no changes daily, not enough options. some of the yogurts were spoiled. my daughter asked the housekeeper for a blanket for the baby and she "shewed" her away and never brought one. we had no toilet paper the last day and half so we used our wipes. there was no shampoo in the bottle, it was never checked and refilled. overall we will not be staying here again. but the guy that checked us in was very nice!

I always enjoy staying here when I’m in town. Very friendly front desk staff. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. It is a quiet setting and easy to rest. They offer a very limited breakfast option, but plenty of places to dine just off the property.

Overall our stay was comfy. However there was a sign about the warm complimentary breakfast and it’s a lie. All they had was cereals n waffles to make but even then they take a lil bit to make n we had to wait bc other people beat us to it. They had muffins n that’s it. No eggs, biscuits, sausage, bacon, nothing like that! Also the tv connection was always going in and out. They don’t have good quality cable. Must be a satellite.

Breakfast was way below expections. Had waffles, but other than that not much. Only 2 types dry cereal, small muffins, and toast. Coffee not good at all. Other motels in this price range have eggs, bacon or saussage , grits or potatoes, much better variety of muffins, and cereals. Also coffee is much better.

Would not recommend. When we pulled up to check in the lobby was locked and we had to go up to a check in window, but no one was there. For 15 minutes in the 30 degrees weather had to ring the bell and call the number until someone finally pulled up. The room was ok except for the cigarette burns on the comforter. The breakfast was a joke. Went at 8:15 to get breakfast and there was basically nothing left. Could only get juice and 1 type of cereal and no one was at the front desk again to try and let them know. We left and went and ate across the street then left. Don’t waste your money.
