I like the nearby businesses . I hated that the Pool was filthy n didn’t get fixed after 5 days. That was the only reason I picked them. They expected 1 towel for each person. Women use 2 towels one for our hair, 1 to dry off from shower. The lady closed the breakfast early it’s suppose to be 6am -9:30am . Closed it 5 mins early.

It was very troubling to select this location because they have a pool, only to drive 4 hours and the pool is under maintenance. I believe when I booked the reservation, the hotel should have called and let me know in case I was intending on swimming while I was there. It was disheartening for my family to not be able to swim, especially since it was very hot. The first room they out me in reeked of cigarette smoke which instantly gave me a headache. The second rooms tv was disconnected and not working. The towels looked dirty and the toilet wasn’t clean. I will not book another room here in the future.

This was a horrible stay and we ended up leaving in the middle of the night. We checked in to a filthy room that stank. Later when we came back to the room to sleep for the night there were cars all in the parking lot blocking the parking spots and blocking our room. People were standing outside in front of our room: dozens of people. We struggled to get by. Then inside our room it was so noisy we couldn’t sleep so we ended up leaving at 2am and driving back to dallas in the middle of the night rather than stay in a filthy room where we couldn’t sleep.

I like it’s close to all businesses. I hated that the Pool looked like a black water gator pond, and still didn’t have it cleaned after 5 days it still was non functional . The pool was my deciding factor to go there. That ruined everything

Barely tops the scale into the “average” category. Just like most establishments of this caliber there’s a construction trailer out front and pool closed for “renovations”. Had to request a room change within the first 30 minutes due to the a/c barely functioning. The 2nd room was bearable but still wouldn’t get cold. Nothing “nice” or over-the-top to be seen. It checked the box for “somewhere to sleep without feeling dirty” but that’s the extent. Still not notably clean at all. Front desk service was friendly, could be a much better place with a little work and the slightest thought from owner.

The check in was good. When we got to our room, we found torn sheets and a dead bedbug on one of the pillows. We contacted the desk clerk and she gave us another room. The rooms are fine but need some upgrades to make the stays more enjoyable. Water pressure for the toilets aren’t enough to get a good flush.

The room has not been cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. There was an old bar of soap and hair in the bathtub. On our second night we arrived back to the hotel late to find they took our dirty towels and did not leave any clean ones. Also, twice I went to the lobby and couldn’t find anyone behind the desk or in the lobby area. And this is the first time I have stayed in a hotel where they didn’t make up the bed (even if I already made it up) and empty all the trash cans.

I was pleasantly surprised with the room. We had a queen non smoking room. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. We will stay again when we are in the area.

Room was hot…around 85 degrees. Bathroom floor was wet and very slick. Mike fell and hurt his knees due to the slick floor. Room is starting to cool down after 3 hours.

The first of my 2 night stay there was a LOUD voice cursing outside about 12:45 AM. It woke me up and lasted about 30 minutes. I tried to call front desk but room phone was dead. Nest morning I told the front desk person that my phone didn't work and was told it would be fixed. That night the phone still didn't work!!

Front desk used her phone to put in my credit card info! No phones, people outside room smoking marijuana, front desk said it had nothing to do with her. I was there less than 20 minutes, asked for refund, she replied no refunds!

Wow. Emily at the front desk was excellent. Sweet voice and bubbly personality. She said 3 times if there was anything I needed she was there till 11. Room was clean. Bed a little hard for me. Shower was just right.

There was a desk chair that was missing an arm and shouldn’t been in there. Ice machine and vending machine was not working. When taking a shower the water knobs were not working properly. Toilet wasn’t clean. One of the towels were stained. The power socket where the coffee machine was located did not work. People hanging out in the parking lot drinking. We were very uncomfortable and didn’t feel safe to try the breakfast. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough. When checking out there was a bell to get service but it wasn’t there at check in and several of us had to wait until someone showed up to help and one man got frustrated and walked off.

I'll admit the first time I stayed here I was skeptical about staying. I wasn't sure about the area. I judged a book by its cover. This place is actually clean and the beds are comfortable. It's a decent place to get some rest. The breakfast is typical- waffles, cereal, eggs... I have stayed here more than once and it has become my go-to stop when I'm passing through town.

Rooms are mostly clean but need more attention to corners, tub and shower grout, etc. Also need to have carpet removed, it's a great hiding place for dirt and germs. Would like a few more selections in the breakfast room, also. We stayed 2 different weekends, in different rooms, and each had issues with the TVs and/or remotes. That said, comparing rates to other hotels in the area, this is the best choice for us.

Everything was great, from the friendly staff to cleanliness of the room and the rest of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast had some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had in a long while! Will definitely be on my return list.
